A portal opens in the air as a beautiful young woman looks up from the complex mana weave she is working on. As another young woman steps through the portal she gestured dissipating the weave.

“Hello daughter.” The new woman greets as she gestures closing the portal behind her.

“Mother. So, she survived?”

The daughter leans back on the comfortable seat she was relining on as her mother Vera takes a seat across from her. “Yes, for now, though the path they are both on is a dangerous one.”

Her daughter frowns. “But you were the one to start him on the path were you not?”

The Mother sighs. “Yes, it was the only way.”

“So, it was a true prophecy?” the daughter questions with a raised eyebrow.

“That seems to be the case. I need you to tell your priests to help them if they show up at one of your temples.”

“I can do that, but is that likely?”

“I think so. They will have to travel to the Temple of the Seven Moons.”

“I see. Then they will show up in my lands at some point.”

“Indeed, have a good day daughter.” Vera says as she gracefully stands and without a gesture this time, disappears.

As her mother vanishes the Goddess of Water could not help running the lines of the prophecy through her head.
