After they saw how the duel between Chrono and Chaos Knight had ended, only Shila smiled while whispering something.

“He doesn’t get rusty at all.”

The other ‘Pulse’ council members were left speechless. After all the hype about them being the first clan defeating one of the Emperor’s clan, an unknown clan had suddenly appeared and beat them to eliminating ‘TerraNorth’ first.

Their two month effort seemed like a joke since it only took 5 hours for ‘BloodBrothers’ to obliterate ‘TerraNorth’.

Gray and his council members recalled how they tried to wear down their opponent mentally by attacking the ‘Titan’s Gate’ every 5 hours.

For a proper attack, everyone from their clan needed to participate. Every ‘Pulse’ member joined the attack even though they have their own real life job, family and lived in different time zones.

In these past two months, their hunger for victory making them wake up in the middle of the night, asking for emergency leave from their employer and cancelling family vacation were normal among the ‘Pulse’ members.

All of their blood and sweat, all of their effort were put to naught in a mere 5 hours. It was the greatest humiliation in ‘Pulse’s’ 8 year history. And there was nothing they could do about it.

After a few moments, Gray spoke, breaking the silence in the council room.

“Tell our guys to withdraw, we are leaving.”

“What?! Why? I know that clan already beat us, but we still have pretty good chance in winning.”

“Yeah, if we leave like this, our two month effort would be for naught.”

Gray closed his eyes while sighing, he know it was bad. f they continued the war, they may be possibly helping ‘BloodBrothers’ indirectly.

Before Gray can explain his reason, Shila spoke up for himinstead.

“If we continue, our chance of losing would be higher. ‘TerraFirma’ can’t afford another humiliation, this time they will use all of their might to crush us and to show the world they are not getting weaker. Besides, if we actually lose the war. Our clan will be humiliated further.”

Gray continued from where Shila left off.

“And if the war draws out any longer, ‘TerraFirma’ will be too busy with the war. If that happens the ‘BloodBrothers’ can strengthen themselves and spread their influence peacefully. I have a feeling we are already helping ‘BloodBrothers’ indirectly by keeping the empire busy with this war, we can’t help them further by prolonging the war can we?”

At Gray’s and Shila’s remarks, the council members fell in silence again. They knew what Gray and Shila said were the truth. However, it was an upset to them withdrawing the war after two month.

“But… How did we explained this to our clan members? Because of the great effort we put in this war, they may even defect from our clan if we withdraw the war just like this.”

“After 8 years, our bonds are stronger than that. And instead of continuing this war, we have a better option.”

“Better option?”

“Yes, tell our guys to get ready. We are going to the northern continent.”

The council members finally smiled when they realized Gray intention. After ‘TerraNorth’s’ elimination, North Continent would become split into many independent nations.

Compared to fighting the empire, conquering the nation one by one in the North Continent was far easier.

With the reduced influence of the empire and less threatening clan, uniting the whole North Continent was possible.

“I--I wil tell our clan members to withdraw.”

Just like this, the ‘Titan’s Gate’ two month battle came to an end by the ‘Pulse’ clan leaving the battlefield quietly in the middle of the night.

Chrono’s surroundings were dead silent, the looks on his enemies were as hostile as ever but instead of contempt and disgust like before, they felt that Chrono deserved the win.

Despite this, Chrono could not leave it just like this. He needed to weed out future trouble and prepare his future plan. After taking out Chaos Knight’s loot, Chrono approached Jurek to tell him about his next plan.

“We need to divide the NPC troops accordingly to protect our new possession. Other clans will surely try to attack it after they knww ‘TerraNorth’ is no longer the owner.”

“How about the users here?”

“I will handle that.”

Even though in the clan Jurek was the leader, ‘EverGarden’ and ‘Cranberry’ were owned by Chrono . In a way, Chrono status has risen to Jurek level.

Jurek separated the NPC soldiers from the users. With his clan members help, they divided the troops into divisions and assigned the soldiers to protected various land, factory, mines and many other possession owned by both company and ‘TerraNorth’.

Except ‘TerraNorth’ headquarters and the ‘GrandSafe’, Jurek and his clan members made sure that other possessions would be heavily guarded.

Once they were done, they used the transporting portal to transport the troops to their assigned location instantly.

While Jurek and the ‘BloodBrothers’ members busy with their task, Chrono stoodd to one side of the destroyed castle ruins.

From his standing, he can see all the ex ‘TerraNorth’ members clearly. The clan was gone, but it only was decided by the game.

The users loyalty seems unfazed and if they wished it so, they could registered ‘TerraNorth’ again as a clan later.

Chrono could torture them mentally by not letting them leave the company. Undoubtedly it will result in future trouble, since the users may intentionally rebel within the company.

And the worst thing that may happen was the leaking of the crucial information they may have privy to. Because of all of this, Chrono decided to release them from the company, but if he released them just like that, the hundred thousand users around him may turn on him and kill him.

“(Not to mention it will cause trouble to the ‘BloodBrothers’ members here.)”

After a careful thinking, Chrono finally cried, making sure his voice were loud enough for all the users around him to hear clearly.

“ I DON’T WISH TO KEEP YOU GUYS AS MY UNDERLINGS. BUT I DON’T WANT ALL OF YOU TO TURN ON ME AFTER I RELEASE YOU GUYS!”

His throat felt hoarse even though he didn’t actually used his real body. He paused to catch his breath and compile his thoughts.

“ IF YOU WISH TO BE RELEASED, COMMIT SUICIDE HERE AND NOW. AND I WILL RELEASE YOU AFTER YOUR DEATH.”

Bewildered by Chrono’s remark, the users around him whispering each other. If they actually agreeing in committing suicide, their level would decrease and their precious equipment would drop.

For max level users, their equipment and their level were too precious to let go. Chrono remark make him again the object of contempt and disgust.

“This….We can’t accept this!!”

“You cheap bastard! That was too cruel of punishment!”

“At least in a war the level and equipment drop was honorable!”

“And to think you asked us to commit a suicide without a fight ! What a disgrace!.”

Instead of speaking any further, Chrono just stood in silence while watching everyone from the top. He knows the users have no choice.

“This….This disgrace!! I will never forget this!!”

One of the users committed a suicide with his sword. Since it was the game with health points, this user needed to try a few times before he actually died.

“I swear I will hunt you down and kill you until you reach level 1!”

Another user started to commit suicide. One after another, the string of suicides continued followed with swearing and cursed words.

“What? He asked our members to commit suicide to release them?”

Outside of ‘TerraNorth’ headquarters, TigerB and his armies were watching from afar. After realizing the masked men’s army tricks, TigerB swiftly left the area and headed towards headquarters.

Objectively, his friend from the headquarters told him it was a wasted effort since they could not lift a finger to the invaders.

Since he felt it was his fault in ‘TerraNorth’ elimination, instead of giving up he contacted his clan alliance and mercenary.

After a quick roll call, the alliance and mercenary clan number of no less than 10 000 were marching outside of the headquarters.

It takes time to gather the armies since it was on short notice. For this reason, TigerB was glad he succeeded.

Since the users from the alliance and mercenary clans has no relations with both of the companies, they could fight the ‘BloodBrothers’ to their heart’s contents.

Initially, TigerB wanted to attack as soon as possible, but once he heard that Chrono would release every users from both of the companies. He decided to wait until every user inside the headquarters finished committing suicide, .

“(If I wait for him to release every users from the company, Even I can join the attack)”

Once every users inside the headquarters finished committing suicide, Chrono took out his portal and ‘cleaned’ all the loot from the users swiftly.

And then, like his promised he release every users from both companies. While Jurek and his clan members already finished their assignment, Aramis approached Chrono to ask.

“What’s next?”

“Wait.”

Since Chrono the one capturing the throne, he’s the sole owner of the headquarters and all ‘TerraNorth’ possession instead of ‘BloodBrothers’.

Because of this, he gained the new control interface.

Chrono look at his clan members while smiling. He has no time to explained, instead, he take out the ‘return scroll’ while he cried.

HIs clan members, knowing Chrono has his reason, also take out their ‘Return Scroll’ to get back to their hideout.

Once he got released from the company, TigerB make an evil grin while crying to his army.

“CHARGE!!!”

His armies consist of ex ‘TerraNorth’ members, alliance and mercenary clan charge to the headquarters swiftly after they got released.

On their way to the headquarters, everyone was in high moral and in high spirits. Suddenly they saw a blazing fire licking through the headquarters surrounding.

The flames grew wilder, burning everything on its path,as the sun emerged from the far east mountain range.

Stopping in his tracks, TigerB was on his knees, speechless. And so were his armies that still could not grasp reality.

The red flame and the sunrise strangely blended nicely together. As the flame burned everything to the ground in front of their eyes.

Unknowingly, tears start to come out from TigerB’s eyes, his council members and his underlings started to cry.

It was like a dream ‘TerraNorth’ was gone. Their hard work, their honor and their glory; everything was gone.

The burning headquarters, bathed in the light of a new sunrise with the moans and groans of the crying men; Marked the end of the great invasion of ‘TerraNorth’.

Later on, the tale of the ‘BloodBrothers’ and the skull masked, was known across the continent.

The ‘BloodBrothers’ invasion was admired by a lot of people. But the greater the light, the darker the shadow. Their tales also brings envy and ambition.

The elimination of ‘TerraNorth’ marks the start of the age of chaos in the North Continent. Ambitious clans around the world start to move to the North Continent, planning to unite the continent again under their clan’s banners.

‘TerraFirma’ also sends their elite users to try reclaiming the lost continent.

And knowing there will be many wars broke out.Mercenary clans and war hungry users all know that there will be many wars also moved to the North Continent to state their claim and their fame from it.

And since it was something that never happened in Emperor Saga’s history, suddenly there was an unexpected announcement that never happens before.
