Daniel in his living room pondering about the fund raising he need for the clan. Eventhough he's a merchant, there's no way he can gain enough money to buy the pact item for the guardian within 3 month. From his calculation, raising the clan fund with just increasing the clan activity was not enough.

"(With our current pace we can only buy half of the pact item. Asking 10% from the clan member loot was not enough after all but if we raised it they may start to protest.)"

He browse the internet searching for the info about the company in the stock market.To make a decent profit in the stock market, Chrono need a huge sum of fund. And it's impossible for him to gain a huge profit within 3 month.

The company that caught Chrono attention was 'Cranberry' and 'Ever Garden'. 'Cranberry' is the company own by 'TerraNorth' clan, a branch clan for 'TerraFirma'. Its the biggest company on the north continent owning various mines, land and farm.

'Ever Garden' also own by 'TerraNorth', its a company act as a bank storing various goods from the user.There was various attempt by bandit clan to raid their main vault at 'Grand Fort' but all were in vain.

They boast the fact their vault were impenetrable making various high level user actually stored their goods here instead of normal NPC warehouse since even NPC warehouse has been raid before.Even with high storing charge, user still stored their most valuable goods here.

Daniel device his plan carefully before he log in to the game.

" Leader, on the vacation day, can I do something else other then selling the clan's spoils?"

"Hmm? What did you want to do?"

"Sure, you have that strange skill anyway, it's not like you need extra wagon to bring our spoils if the spoils stack up."

"Sure, I need various things to make the plan work anyway, but keep it only for high rank member only."

After conversing with Jurek, Chrono went to Francis to inquire about the pet.

"Francis, I need pet that can help me sending supply to various place to ease my workload."

"I though you'd come, I already prepared a few that you can make use of."

"Really? Can you show me?"

"They're not really a pet since they are quite intelligent, its more to slave."

"Hmm? You can give me slave too?"

"Since they are monster type, it still in my field of work as a 'Monster Tamer'."

"I see, since its a slave my pet slot will not get fill right?"

"Yes, but you need to treat them as an intelligent creature, things like cage and head patting aren't working.But they are half wit though, I'm sure they will be loyal for the time being."

While his talking, Francis brought Chrono to his barn, inside of the barn there was 20 goblin working on feeding various pet in the barn.

"I already working on training the new batch of goblin. You can take these 20 goblin since they are veteran, they can learn well if you teach them low level skill. Careful though, they can reproduce quite well, don't let their number increase too much."

"Hmm...nice, for slavery I can just use my 'Contract' skill right? I will prepare it right away."

"I believe so, in fact it's more effective that way."

Contract :

By accepting this contract, you are hereby being obliged to serve as a slave to the contract provider, Chrono for the rest of your life.Depend on the term and condition, this contract would cancel or need renewal.

Term and Condition :

1) Chrono need to provide food at least once a day

2) Chrono need to provide shelter.

If by any means Chrono can't fulfill the condition above, the contract will be cancel automatically.Chrono as the contract provider can cancel the contract at anytime.

The goblin accept the contract after Francis asked them to. With this, Chrono gain 20 new slave. Since all of the goblin were veteran trained by Francis, they has various useful skill to aid Chrono. Chrono checked on his new slave skill window to checked out their skill.

Francis already teach all the necessary skill needed to every goblin to assist Chrono.He told Chrono that the goblin can only learn up to beginner level 9 for every skill. Also, goblin has low combat ability making them unsuitable for combat.

"(I heard establish merchant used slave to mass produce on their crafting item and various other odds job, I will try it now.)"

Chrono head to his blacksmith workshop to try blacksmithing with the goblin . He decide to forge a heavy spear with the goblin. He appoint a goblin for smelting and one more for forging.

Then he do the refining work after the goblin doing the the raw work.Then Chrono craft a heavy spear without the goblin help.

"(Hmm...first is the spear I craft with the goblin)"

"(No doubt I get better quality if I craft from the scratch, but by sacrificing a bit of quality, I can craft 10 times faster.And for experience, it seems I get 20% lower then I normally had.But with this crafting speed, I can get 8 times more experience than when I craft normally)"

Since every slave can have one pet, Francis provide the goblin with 5 Ratabi, a type of monster rat. With this, 5 of the goblin can help Chrono on the supply delivery and since they also equipped with repair skill, the delivery goblin can help with the repair of the clan member equipment.

For Blacksmithing, Tailoring and cooking, Chrono assign 2 goblin to assist him. For alchemy, Chrono appoint 4 goblin since potion creation take alot of time and Jurek told him to prioritize alchemy for skill grinding.

Chrono put 2 goblin for accessory crafting since he felt that it will be useful later and it will be fun if all the clan member wear various mask in a raid.The other 3 goblin Chrono assign with various assignment like foraging, pet management and cleaning.

Just in case, Chrono plan to teach them combat skill later.The scroll for combat skill were quite expensive but he still feel the need to teach the goblin combat skill for survival.

"(I would have bought the 'Spear Mastery' scroll if I can learn it. But sadly, merchant cant learn combat skill from scroll or master. )"

Chrono began his first day working with his slave. With this new addition, Chrono workload decrease by alot.

On the next day, Chrono manage to deliver the supply goods to the clan member on time. Now he didn't need to rush and he even had an extra time to wander around town . Chrono stopped by Daisy to craft, now the craft start surrounding him soon after he enter the town.

"Yesterday I found some rare material in the dungeon, Craft something for me."

"I gained 5 level since you craft me last, I need new weapon and armor."

"Cooked me the food like last time, I need the buff for solo hunting."

"I want you to craft a nice necklace for my girlfriend."

Like usual, there's no order in the chaotic town.Users pushing each other asking Chrono to craft and sometime to the point they point their weapon to each other.Chrono quietly brought his wagon to the center of the town before he set up his shop at the center of the town.

"I had 2 hour before I continue the clan assignment, I can only craft for 10 people."

"What? To hell with your clan, craft for me now!"

"And I will choose those 10 people by their sincerity."

"Bastard! Don't get full of yourself!"

"You are free to draw your sword and kill me, I can't disregard my clan order."

"Sure, lets make your clan lose you for the next 24 hour!"

When the hot blooded chaotic user tried to attack Chrono, other chaotic user intervene and beat him to a pulp.

"How dared you point your weapon to the great Chrono! Oh Great Chrono, We've take care of him."

"Hmm...How sincere, thank you."

"Would you like to craft for me master Chrono?"

"Hmm.. I feels good with your sincerity."

"Master Chrono, I would offer you with 2 silver if you craft for me."

"This one sincerity is the most amazing one."

"I offer 5 silver!"

"I offer 10!"

"Wait, I'm a merchant, not a scammer just pay me normally but decide among yourself which 10 people I should craft since I really need to go in 2 hours."

The crowded decide the 10 player by rock,paper, scissor. With that, Chrono manage to get money by crafting in the chaotic town.

His strategy to craft for them until they can't live with his crafting work wonder.Since no other merchant went to Daisy, the chaotic user had no choice but to rely on Chrono crafting.

"Good bye master Chrono please come back again!"

"We need to do something to decide the next 10 person worthy for that guy craft next time."

Later, the chaotic town of Daisy conduct a special event 3 hour before Chrono arrive to decide which 10 user have the right to ask for Chrono crafting.

The event take place at the town center where all the participant would attack anyone.The last 10 men standing considered the winner and will be grant an audience to Chrono . Later on the event become popular and user around the world call it

'Craftsman Festival'

Daniel wake up in the morning before start his morning exercise.His game life quite happening but nothing much happen in real life. His happy with his training progress but since the game still didn't recognized his training progress since the last time, he got nervous.

After his done with the work, he called the only one he know in real life training his body to play Emperor Saga.

"Hello, Alex right?"

"Yeah, it's me. What's up Daniel."

"Hmm....I've been training my body lately but I reach bottleneck."

"You need my help?"

"Yes, I need sparring partner.I know you're busy it's fine if you refused"

"Hmm...Where are you now? Let's meet at the nearest gym."

"Sure, but aren't you busy?"

"Nah, my boss just gave me almost impossible assignment, I need sometime to take a breather."

"Okay, let's meet at the nearest gym."

Since the gym were near the hospital, Daniel just take a walk to the gym. After 15 minutes he arrive and Alex already there warming up.Daniel join Alex before they get to the ring and prepared to spar.

"I saw your video slaying the 100 men."

"How did you know it's me?"

"I just did, even with the mask on I immediately think "it's Daniel" for some reason."

"I see, I only know you are the Emperor after that."

"Ha,it's just like you. Should we start now?"

"Sure."

Both of them ready their fighting stance and charge on each other after 3 seconds. The fight were a brief one minute fight before they end up in a draw.

"Hmm.....The game update your progress 2 times already in this short time?"

"Yeah, how many update was the maximum?"

"The maximum known update was 5 but there's no way to know."

"I see."

"By the way, we both can't fight with our full potential since our specialty not hand to hand combat.Stop by to my office when you has the time, I have something cool to show you"

"Okay, and thanks for the spar."

Daniel returned to his home after that. He began his usual sword training before he log in back to the game.
