Reckless Behavior
On the way to the bar, I was annoyed that I could not arrive on time. After a race of more than two minutes, I arrived on the scene sweaty. I abruptly opened the door and I checked to see if the woman I was worried about was there.
Nobody was present on the scene. I looked around and behind the bar, but I did not see anyone. Not understanding why everyone was gone, I suddenly thought of something.
My fight, of course.
I turned on the field and headed towards the village center.
***************************
Luffy was running with Makino and the pirates towards the center of the village. The villager from before had warned them of the stirring I had caused earlier. The scene alerted everyone and they were stupefied when they heard the narrative of the villager.
Everyone except Luffy of course. Makino knew that I was strong but not how much. In the past, she saw me mistreat the trio of young pirates, but never fight against adults.
When she heard I was fighting off the bandits who had dared to oppose the pirate crew, she panicked for my life.
"Big sister Makino, don’t sweat it, these bandits have had the misfortune to face Raoh, and even before we arrive at the scene he will have finished with them without any injury,"
Luffy said with conviction, doing his best to reassure the young woman. He closed his eyes and smiled radiantly, careful to show all his teeth.
Yasopp was perplexed and asked the young man;
"Luffy how strong is your brother?"
"He's strong enough to be part of your crew," Luffy answered seriously.
Shanks looked at him with a smirk. Young people liked to say words higher than their thoughts. Who were they? One of the four emperors (the Yonko), the most dangerous pirates of Grand Line.
"Haha ..." Yasopp laughed and said. "Luffy you're still young and you do not know the extent of the strength of our crew, but I assure you that Raoh could not face our new recruits."

"But it's really touching that you wear so much esteem towards your brother. I have a son whom I have not seen for a very long time and he should be about the same age as you ... Maybe he has the same character. Um ...! Young people have to dream big after all. Haha! "
"Hmph! I'm telling the truth, look, it's Raoh who taught me to do that!" Luffy concentrated and his arm glowed with a gleaming black light.
All of a sudden his entire arm was covered with a black substance as solid as steel, but shining like gold.
"Haki !!" Lucky Roo and Ben Beckman said in unison.
"Luffy you know how to use Haki?! Oh dear lord, you're just six ... Wait, it's Raoh who taught you to use that, do you say?" Shanks asked.
"Um!" Luffy answered with pride. His little twin brother was a genius.
"Seriously? Who taught him how to use Haki?" Shanks asked again shocked.
"Nobody, one day he decided to teach me a mysterious martial art, Hokuto..Shi..Shinken, then his hand began to shine like me now and he crushed a rock."
Luffy stuttered every time he tried to pronounce that word. He’d rather call it a “mysterious martial art”. However his brother had taught him so many times how to correctly spell it that he was touched, so he tried sometimes.
"It was when?" Shanks was amazed. "And what's that Hokuto?"
"The past year, it's been a year now ?!" Luffy was not good with numbers.
Shanks and the rest of his crew were in shock. "Captain, do you think maybe? ..." A guy with a bald cut behind said before being interrupted.
"..." Shanks told him to stop. The two boys were too young for such a thing.
"So what's this Hokuto thing?" Shanks smiled and asked the question previously unanswered to Luffy.
"Oh ... sorry I cannot say, Raoh forbade me." Luffy replied politely.

"No big deal, I really like the bond you and your brother share ...Haha!" He was taken by a very powerful need to laugh for almost a minute. Luffy and the crew looked worrily at him.
Shanks calmed down and said.
"Luffy, this hat is very dear to me, but if it's you....hold it for me." He reluctantly gave up on it...
"In the future, if ever one of you comes to the new world, you'll have to turn it over."
"Ok...What's so special about it?..." Luffy was not too clear. However it was still the first gift a real pirate gave to him, he'd cherish it.
Shanks ignored him and sped up the pace. The pirates were no longer worried about the child knowing the extent of his strength. If he could use Haki, these bandits could not do anything to him. It was just East blue...
Suddenly, a man appeared behind the group.
"Aah!" Makino uttered a cry that alerted the attention of the pirates and Luffy.
"Haha, be obedient and nothing bad will happen to you!" The bandit leader caught Makino preventing her from struggling. He also put a knife under her throat.
He looked towards the group of pirates and saw that Shanks's expression was dark. He looked like a wild beast that was about to rush on its prey.
"Hmph! One wrong move and I cut that pretty girl's throat. Hehe.” He told while touching the shapes of the girl. Pressing her breasts and buttocks, waiting to satisfy his desires later.
He was going to take a boat and leave here as soon as possible using her as a hostage. The child from earlier was a real demon ... He did not care about his business here, his life was more important than money.
"Captain, I think it's time to show your true face..." The guy with the bald head said.
Lucky Roo, Yasopp and Beckman laughed. Shanks was almost never serious, but this villain had touched his taboo. The very reason he was fighting was to protect the people who were dear to him.
In fact, any of them could have been the captain of the crew if we looked at the ability to read maps, navigate, organize troops, or think and raise money for their daily expenses.
However, they all agreed that Shanks should be the leader. Why? This was a simple answer.
Shanks was the strongest. The extent of his strength was ... Anyway, fighting him for the captain position was just stupid.
To make up for his lack of intelligence, they asked him just one thing; eliminate any threat against them. It was the main force and the most brutal of the "Red Hair Pirates", which bore its name well.
A powerful captain is a captain against whom no one can rebel and that everyone respects. If in addition, he holds principles it kills two birds with one stone.
"Aah ... Haa .." Shanks was already exasperated. However, it was for a good cause.
He launched a wave of energy towards the bandit and he fell on the spot.
"Poof! .." Oddly enough the bandit fell unconscious but Makino was intact.
********************
"What was that?" I arrived at the place and saw this bizarre scene unfold before me.
Shanks looked at me and asked. “Raoh? What are you doing here?!” I thought you were fighting at the town center." Before he could continue he looked at the blood on my clothes.
“Perhaps...Did you?...” He asked in a serious tone.
“Um...Everyone is dead.” I answered.
The pirates looked at me like they had seen a ghost.
“Haha! I told you didn’t I?” Luffy rubbed the knife into its wound.

In a world where magical runes called Rebirths rest in the hands of hostile nations, fourteen-year-old Aiden lived a quiet life in a small town conveniently named Khalm. Born with crescent-shaped irises and silver hair, young Aiden was never bothered by his unusual birthmarks until the night his life as a simple delivery boy changed. He was the 'Rebirth Destroyer', someone ruling powers deemed a threat. Chased by death and the foretelling of the world ending by his hands, Aiden soon finds that there are few people he can trust. My stories are fantasy-based and heavily influenced by classic Final Fantasy games ( by classic I mean 1-10 ) and other Japanese Role-Playing Games I used to enjoy, with one difference; the main characters are Black. July 2022 update! After months of deliberation, I've decided to continue with this cast of characters in the next books instead. The loose ends in this story have been keeping me up all night. I've gotten started on 2 sequels to this; Rebirth of Destiny II based on the good ending and the alternative ending. After I get a good backlog built up they'll be published once a week.

But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves.
