《Across the Realms [Dropped]》Chapter 23: Transformation

At this moment the teleportation array lit up, and twenty figures materialised before the gateway of the temple.
Some of the figures were small while others tall, some were human, elf or even demi-human, but they all had one thing in common; they were all females.
The girls looked around themselves and began to inspect their surroundings with their spiritual-sense if they could. These girls were between the ages of seven and ten, so many of them were in the Spiritual-Convergence Realm, hence why they could project spiritual-sense outside of their body.
“The Felicity Temple,” A feline demi-human said while looking at the temple ahead of her.
“It looks quite malevolent,” A white-haired elf girl moved to stand in the same place as her.
A chuckle filled with battle-intent soon spread throughout the area, “Don’t you mean exciting?”
The elf girl turned towards the voice, a devastatingly beautiful girl with fiery red-hair appeared in front of her.
“Enyo, we can’t all be like you who is excited at the prospect of death," The elf girl frowned in reply.
“Don’t be silly Senior-Sister Bai, I don’t like death, I like the prospect of nearly dying! It’s so exhilarating!” Enyo cheered with a broad smile on her picturesque face.
“Junior-Sisters, don’t listen to little sister Enyo. She has the blood of the War Immortal in her, anything remotely related to fighting and death excites her,” A mellifluous chuckle sounded the entrance of a bald-headed human.
“Senior-Sister Han,” she greeted the human, “let’s get to the preliminary ponds; not all of us have activated the Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art, yet,” The elf girl ushered.
“Alright, don’t be hasty. We will. I’ll just explain everything to everyone first. Even though you have heard it before, I think it’s best if I go over it one more time,” Senior-Sister Han raised her voice so that everyone could hear.
“Everyone here, apart from Junior-Sister Enyo, has yet to activate the first level of the Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art. When we enter the first hall of the temple, there will be blood pools in which we can activate our body-art, though, after that, we will move into the Crystal Caverns. The Crystal Cavern holds the pool of Yin and Yang, there may or may not be a beast which we must kill before we can use the Yin and Yang pool. There our Sanguinary Felicity Tree will take on its own unique form,” Senior-Sister Han paused to make sure everyone was listening.

“After the Crystal Cavern, we will move along the passageways killing Demonic Beasts and using their blood to improve our physique and level of the body-art. These beasts have been specifically chosen and bred by the Religion Master for the sole purpose of improving our bodies. Of course, we must kill the beasts before we gain access to these benefits.”
“Along the way, you may branch off and look for your own lucky chances, just remember that if you are in trouble signal for other people to come help you, and if by chance you get fatally injured you will be teleported back to the Spectating Dome for healing.”
“And lastly, if any oddities occur do make sure to signal for the rest of your sisters.”
With those words, Senior-Sister Han moved towards the gateway of the temple, all the sisters fell in line behind, ready to change their destiny.
“I’ve been looking forward towards my transformation since I became aware of it. According to my master, it is a euphoric experience like none other, and the initial activation of the technique when it first tastes blood is felicity,” A small human girl jumped around excitedly, she then turned towards Enyo.
“Enyo, what did your activation feel like?” She asked sweetly.
Enyo just smiled in response, and with that, the group entered into the hall of the temple; marking the commencement of their baptism.
Ahead of the girls were four large ponds, large enough to fit five individuals in each.
Without any communication, the twenty girls split up into their assigned groups, and each group moved to a selected blood pond. Their bodies began to tremble with excitement as they moved ever closer, an instinctive reaction for any female who has had the Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art imprinted in their souls.
Soon moans and squeals of delight spread throughout the hall, roots began circulating from the girl's hearts and gently wrapping around their bodies, increasing the feeling of ecstasy they were experiencing. Beautiful and seductive tattoos began to permeate their bodies; all representative of their future personalities.
If Astrallis were to see this scene, he wouldn’t know whether to laugh or cry. The dissimilarity between his activation of the body-art and the girls’ was the difference between heaven and hell.

Gradually the bodies of the girls began to grow and become more mature, if they looked like young children before, they now looked like budding teenage beauties. The Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art gave only benefits upon its activation, absolutely nothing detrimental would occur. The body maturing at such a pace allows a cultivator to become more in tune with their weapon as they do not have continually change their movements over their growth period. A more mature body provides for more considerable growth of the cognitive ability of a cultivator, and more significant comprehension of the Primordial Way.
Essentially, the Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art creates a headstart for any cultivator that can cultivate it.
Enyo who at first looked like a tall eleven-year-old, as a result of her Blood God bloodline activating the Body-Art early and not completing the transformation, now completed her transformation turning into a fourteen-year-old looking beauty.
Her body began to grow in all the right places, a seductive hourglass curve, open for all to see.
In the Spectator's Dome, all the Elders and Senior-Sisters watch the girls writhe around in pleasure.
“This reminds me of my first time, what a day it was,” Elder Bai commented.
“The Saintess of the Ichor’s body is truly heaven-defying, she is able to cultivate any blood-related body-art without any resources whatsoever, as long as she has the technique. Of course with natural treasures, she can improve at an unfathomable speed.” The Vice-Religion Master lamented.
At this moment within the Spectator Hall a space-gate formed, attracting the attention of everyone in the hall, a celestial fairy with emerald hair exited the space gate.
Her facial features were exceedingly similar to that of the Religion Masters, and the aura of blood around her was so thick even some of the women next to her felt a shiver run down their spines.
This woman was naturally Jasmine Ether, Astrallis’ mother.
“Darling Daughter, don’t be angry! Everything is fine.” The Religion Master Anemone manifested in front of Jasmine.
Jasmine stared into the eyes of Anemone.
“Mother, I’m thrilled to see you… but at the same time, I just want you out of my sight!” Jasmine said with a voice as cold as ice.
“How could you do this to him? Do you know the pain he went through? Did you even know if it would work?” Jasmine shouted out a flurry of questions.
“What thing?” Anemone attempted to dodge the question.
“He’s my only son! You had the gall to go and test something on him. How could I not feel his pain!”
“Jasmine, my child, would it abate your anger if I told you that He planned this from Astrallis’ birth.” Said Anemone pleadingly.
Jasmine’s aura was immediately withdrawn and replaced with a benevolent atmosphere of a healer, “Well, if He planned it then that excess Yin was put to good use. But remember mother, if you do anything like that again...”
“Yes, yes, I won’t. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” The Religion-Master pulled Jasmine along to two beautiful women.
These two women had dark-blue hair, and beautiful features very similar to Jasmine. They charged forward and strongly hugged Jasmine, “Mother! Why are you here? Aren’t you waiting for Astra’er to finish his inheritance?”
“Xen’er, Zen’er, some things have changed, and I’ve needed to come and observe the trial,” Jasmine said pointedly towards her mother Anemone.
“What a great naming sense, Jasmine, I really need to meet your husband. He sounds like a dragon amongst men.” Grandmother Anemone said, flattering her darling daughter.
Before Jasmine could reply she was forced to the floor by a body flying into her.
“Mother! I’ve missed you, I haven’t seen you in two years!” The youngest of Astrallis’ three sisters, Amelia Ether, screamed as she fell on top of Jasmine.
Grandmother Anemone looked on with a smile, ‘The family is all almost united.

Back at the pavilion in front of Mt. Evanescence, Cestra Ether sighed, ‘Why am I feeling alone all of a sudden? It’s as if someone has forgotten me.’
