《Predators Dungeon》Interlude “A Badgers Pride”
There he was. In the corner of a dungeon, all alone. He was a badger, a creature of might like no other. None dared to stand in his way. Because they knew that if they in any way irritated him, he would tear them to shreds. Even other badgers feared his mighty wrath. His mighty body was bigger than the average badger and he had scales covering him. His claws were immensely sharp, and perfect at digging through even the hardest rock. And his fangs could crush all they chomped down on.
His territory was relatively small and that was okay, he didn’t need anything bigger. Because he had something better, he had the shiny wall. He didn’t know what it was about it. But he was attracted to it, he wanted to lay claim to it. It was his, and no one is allowed close to his treasure, his “Precious”.
He shook his head violently. That had been happening lately. A voice would enter his head, and demand that he should collect every single shiny object in these caves. That they belonged to him, it was his right. They should all belong to him.
He did not like that voice. He wanted to bite it, to crush it. NO ONE! Told him, a GOD DAMN BADGER what to do. Unless they wanted to be mauled to death as was his right. He was his own badger.
He recalled that the voices began after he started eating the big lizards. They often came here to his territory. Always trying to steal his shinies. But he wouldn’t let them, he always ambushed and killed them. But no matter how many times he did it they always seemed to be there. Just in the corner of his eyes. And no matter how fast he reacted to charge at them, they would flee so fast only stone would be in their place.

But that was enough musing, for now, he thought to himself before standing up. He felt it was time for a hunt as it had been quite some time since he last ate. With a fast pace, he moved through the long caverns looking for food. He didn’t want to leave his treasure alone for long in fear the lizards would use the fact he was gone to try and dig some of it out thereafter they would haul it back to their territory where he would have no hope of retrieving it. For even, he recognized the strength that lies in numbers.
Suddenly he stopped. He had caught the smell of a lizard in the air. Going by the concentration of the smell he could conclude that it was a single lone lizard. His mouth watered, it was easy prey.
He ran towards the origin of the smell, it had been a long time since last he consumed a lizard without having to fight them in a group. He turned a corner and saw it. It was sneaking along the edge of the tunnel trying to keep itself out of sight. But it couldn’t hide from his predatory senses. He carefully began sneaking towards it, making sure to stay as close to the ground as possible.
When he finally made it so there was only a small distance between them, he activated his dash skill and launched himself at it.
He felt energy surge to his teeth and jaw muscles, enhancing them beyond normal limits. As he approached the lizard suddenly moved to the right escaping sure death by the badger.
At that moment he felt unbelievable wrath towards that lizard, how dare that puny little reptile dare to dodge his attack. It should just stand still and allow him to kill it. He stared into the lizards’ eyes with untold wroth, but surprisingly it stared back with an intense focus. It redied its spear observing the badgers every move. He growled at the lizard while slowly sidestepping trying to find an angle of attack.

Losing his patience he lunched at the lizard trusting that his fur and thick hide would protect him from the lizard’s weapon. He saw the panic in the lizard’s eye as he lunched towards it. The lizard thrust its spear towards the badger, but as it met with the badger’s thick hide and tough fur, it failed to penetrate them. The motion left it unbalanced and it could only watch as the unforgiving maw of death approached its throat.
The badger felt pride as he stared at his fallen foe. it served that pathetic lizard right to die against his magnificent self and with that feeling of accomplishment in his heart he began to gorge himself on his price. But as he consumed the flesh and essence of his prey, he felt a sudden burst of energy radiating and concentrating in his core. It kept building up threatening to burst, and he knew that he had to find a safe space to hide. So with a force of will, he pushed against the energy and sprinted away with a sudden burst of speed towards his home as fast as his legs could carry him. Utilising his skills to move at a great pace. While running he could feel the energy still increasing with constant increments, it was starting to hurt now.
He hurried through the caverns not even attempting to hide from others. He was lucky that he wasn’t far away from his burrow.
There it was just a few more meters away. with a final sprint, he was back in his cave. He collapsed on the ground heaving for air. Without the strength to keep a hold on it, he let the energy do what it wanted. The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was a message from the system.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

This is the story of Jacob Ashwin. The story of yet another man who stepped from one world to another. The man who obtained the class, Totem Master. He was just your average american living in America, when one day he was walking down the street. He blinked and suddenly found himself in a new world filled with magic and frought with danger. Follow this crazy action filled spiritual adventure. "What? I have a system?! Where is my HUD and menu?!" There is not your typical isekai story. Lets see how Jacob uses his superior earth ingenuity to survive this harsh world. Follow Jacob and the friends he meets along his journey. This story will not be very sexual, but has some more intimate moments. There will be no sex scenes in the story, but probably implied ones down the line. Please feel free to leave a comment, give your critisism, and rate the story. I don't own the cover image, but it is a near perfect representation of what i am trying to create in visual appearance. Also for the guy who gave me a 0.5, I don't like you. You didn't even explain why you thought so poorly of the story. Don't be like that guy.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
