《Bloom》Seedling 66

Vex, Dryad, and me are standing facing the half-circle of the other six. At the moment, we are having a slight argument about who leads the escape.
“I should be the leader, I eat the most! Well, besides that damn Tree!” said a very fat humanoid, thing.
“That’s all well in good to claim, but everyone knows only the best of us, namely me, deserves to lead.” said a very proud humanoid, thing.
“As long as someone pays me enough, I will side with them as the leader…” said a very greedy humanoid, thing.
“Who cares who the leader is, can we just get this damn thing started!!!” said a very angry humanoid, thing.
“I don’t see why I can’t be the leader, I’m much prettier than Vex is!” said a very envious humanoid, thing.
The sixth guy is sound asleep, out like a damn log, on the floor, he’s a pretty slothful humanoid, thing.
Frankly, I empathize with him greatly, and thus, have sneakily moved him over to our side. In the entire thousand plus years I have known the guy, he’s the only one to sleep more than me. Thus, he is considered practically part of team Tree anyways.
The other five though can pound sand, I wouldn’t help them unless Dryad’s life depended on it. Even then I would find a way to screw them over at the same time.
There is just something inherently wrong with them.
Maybe it’s the fact that one of them treats me like she wishes she was me.
Or maybe it’s the fact one of them kept trying to eat my leaves.
Then of course there is the fact that another of the group continually challenges me to a duel, while I am sleeping.
Another bastard just rages at me all the time, he got even worse after I offered a chill pill made from iced Chaos to him.
The last one kept trying to buy me from Dryad, until she crushed him into pulp and forced his body to reform over the course of a decade.
Whatever the problem, they all irritate me except for Vex and Sleeping Guy.
If it weren’t for the fact that they were imprisoned here for eternity for crimes that aren’t too big in my book…

I’d seal them in a dimensional prison myself.
Ah well, I can’t let this stress me.
We are finally escaping!
I’ve already taken measures to make sure Vex, Dryad, Me, and Sleeping Guy don’t get separated.
The other five are on their own, and if they end up the same place as us…
I will show no mercy.
Spreading my senses out, I check the Runic circles around us. The runes spread out in concentric circles from where we are standing until far into the distance.
They required the blood of a large majority of the creatures trapped in this Plane.
Nothing went extinct mind you, just don’t expect the goblin, ogre, ettin, hobgoblin, or other monster populations to recover anytime soon.
Since I didn’t condone the wholesale slaughter of humans, they managed to avoid being culled.
Arguments against my sentimentalism were solved by Dryad ripping the offender’s arm off. I hate to admit it, but Aura is pretty damn awesome.
I wouldn’t trade my Chaos for it though….
….
…..
……
Probably.
Ooooh! The runes are starting to light up with glow, oh, wait they are getting brighter now!
Snap!
Crack!
“Pitiful scum, did you think you could escape!”
The voice thundering out comes from the golden skinned toga wearing humanoid that steps out from within the spatial rift created by the runes.
A second after he appears two more females, and four more men appear.
Is it some sort of Divine rule that you have to copy the numbers of your enemies? That’s a stupid rule.
Especially since they didn’t copy Dryad or me.
Vex’s eyes turn to slits of rage, and her chest heaves as her breathing grows rough. If I didn’t know it, I’d think she was attempting to distract the enemies with her anger. She isn’t completely successful because only three of five guys look at her. The other two, we’ll call Divine Leader and Divine Vice-Leader ignore her. Both of the females just pretend she doesn’t exist, which I suppose is easier when you look drop dead gorgeous in your own right.
On our side, things devolve rather fast.
One of the five offers to buy his way out.

One of the five leaps into a flying tackle at the Divine Leader.
One of the five shifts into a duplicate of the female divinities.
One of the five pulls a sword of pure utter malicious darkness and attacks Divine Vice-Leader.
The last of the five starts eating one of my leaves…what the hell?
“He’s eating my leaves! Where did he even get those!?” I ask petulantly.
“Remember when I did some light trimming to help you look better after forming my body?” replied Dryad.
Ah…there was that…I never did track where those clippings went…
“Vex can you handle the three drooling at you?” I ask.
“With pleasure, Tree.” Vex says, as she saunters off to the side.
“Dryad, handle the Divine Leader, Divine Vice-Leader, Angry, and Proud guys please.” I ask, calmly.
“What about the rest?” Dryad asks, her face curious.
The rest of them…
Will melt.
“I’ll get the remaining ones.” I state, without changing my tone of calm.
My plan for the two Divine females on their side, and the greedy gluttons on our side is simple.
A small multi-colored flame flickers into existence in front of my form, before it splits into four pieces.
I throw the flame at all four of my targets.
The greedy guy grabs it, the glutton eats it, and both Divinities ignore it as beneath their notice.
Once the flame touches each of my targets…
I strike.
Chaos pours into the tiny flames pulled from the inner well within my very being.
Enough to create worlds.
Enough to destroy gods.
I leave barely enough to keep my form intact.
I called out for power, and it answers back to my need.
Chaos is the flame of disorder.
I have said this before, and perhaps it seems almost like an afterthought.
However, as the fire begins to grow disintegrating my targets without end, the truth is apparent.
Disorder, destroys, consumes, no, eats at Order.
All four of my targets have just enough time to recognize the danger before they are vaporized.
It cost me everything in my tank except for the small amount I kept back in my core.
I had to be sure though.
I had to be fast, precise, and overwhelming.
Do I regret the fact that I have no Divine corpses to eat as a result of my actions?
A little…yes.
It’s ok though, Dryad will make sure I don’t starve.
If she doesn’t, I’m sure Vex can be bribed into giving some of her victims.
Their fighting styles are totally different.
Dryad punches and crunches her enemies. She’s resembles nothing so much as ‘loli’ made into a perpetual engine of annihilation.
Vex just softly strangles them to death with her body while draining them out in complete pleasure. Then again, that is how a succubus feeds, so it’s not unexpected.
Sleeping Guy…he isn’t doing anything at all except sleeping. Notably though, every attack that hits him does zero damage. Not even his blanket, pillow, or hair is touched.
I think it would be wise if we didn’t wake this guy up.
I’m not afraid here, it just seems like a bad idea to wake the guy that takes no damage from full power Divine attacks up.
Besides, I wouldn’t want anyone to wake me up in the middle of a battle, so, yes I’m voting we let him keep sleeping.
That’s not to say I won’t bill him later.
Damn straight I’m keeping count of how much he owes me.
If someone thinks they can sleep through a major battle while we escape and not pay for it later?
That’s just crazy.
The battles wind down after Dryad dismembers her four. It was sad, she was the slowest one out of all of us. I’m sure she’ll claim later that she was fighting the four strongest, and thus, took longer as a result.
Vex’s opponents are all completely naked, and look like nothing more than withered corpses. I don’t pity them though, sticking any piece of yourself into a succubus is just asking for agonizingly pleasurable death.
Now of course comes the important part of the fight.
The one far more important than our escape.
Distribution of loot.

Magician's Pact
A young boy with a special key finds himself caught up with an old wizard, an ancient prohpecy, and a possibly conspercy. This sounds like the sort of thing most childern would love to be a part of, but there are just three small problems. The first is that he is not the hero. Someone already got that role. The second is that he isn't a wizard. He is a Magician which complicates things. The third is that there might be a chance that the whole 'problem' might be comming from his end. Personally he never understood (or interacted with) the 'secret' magical world, but that becomes a problem when the magical world apparently has what his role is supposed to be according to their ancient book... and they are not to happy about him not matching their book. Still it shouldn't be to hard right? All he has to do is go to a school, learn some wizard magic, make sure nobody takes his key... also avoid dying. Thankfully he has had a lot of expereince with that last part and a bunch of Twig Twirling childern can't be too dangerious? Right?
