*Hmm…*(Dryad)
*Hmm…*(Tree)
The figure standing just outside our Domain is surrounded by withered corpses as far as the eye can see.
*I mean, she’s gorgeous in an inhuman manner, but doesn’t she remind you of those creatures in your memories? The ones with, wings, tails, horns, and smoking hot bodies…*(Dryad)
*I can’t for the life of me remember what they were called. I do remember though that their main method of killing was draining the souls of their victims to feed the insatiable hunger they had.*(Tree)
*You can’t really hold that against someone though. Once I have a physical form that’s very similar to how I feed.*(Dryad)
*Hmm…*(Tree)
*Hmm…*(Dryad)
*What do you think?*(Tree)
*Let’s see if she can communicate. Although, I don’t think we should let the creature in her shadow in, he’s creepy.*(Dryad)
I guess I can try normal methods of communication before going exotic.
“Howa! We come in peace!” I say, using the surrounding air in my Domain to mimic speech.
Eh…why is the female creatures staring at me like I’m an idiot, I’m not!
I know that’s the ‘You’re an idiot Tree!’ stare because Dryad uses it a lot…
“Are you stupid?” the female creature states, while tilting her head to the side.
Gah!
I knew that was the same stare! They even raise their eyebrows in almost the same manner!
“No! I am not stupid.” I state firmly.
“Prove it.”
“….”
*Can I just kill her? We can always find another one.*(Tree)
*I like her! She reminds me of the older sister’s in my inherited memories!*(Dryad)
If I could cry tears, I would be doing that right now.
One is bad enough.
Two of Dryad though…
I shudder at the potential disasters.
“Are you one of these things?” I ask.

I am rather curious why she can even understand me. Wherever we are it certainly isn’t a place that would seem to contain the Celna human language.
“My name is Vex, Queen of the Souldrinkers. If you ever suggest I share anything with an Outcast I will eat you alive.” Vex says, with cold eyes.
Note to self, do not mention Vex looks like a pretty monster. Outcast. Whatever.
“Ok.”
See? I’m a brilliant master of conversation!
*Move aside and let me talk, before you get us into a war with the first decent creature around!*(Dryad)
I was doing fine.
Until that death threat.
Bah! Whatever, let’s see if you can do any better!
*Moving aside, moving aside, do your best dear!*(Tree)
Dryad uses the same magic I do to manipulate sound in the air, however when she does it the voice sounds like a smoking hot woman.
For some reason I always sound like an elderly grandfather…
Life is so damn unfair.
“Hi! Could you point us in the direction of civilization, a hot shower, and the closest place to start world domination?” Dryad says, in a bubbly cheery voice.
Vex blinks for several moments, before pointing behind her, “We could start at my Lair.”
What. The. Hell!
Dryad!
I worry sometimes about my other half…she’s sometimes much less stable than me…

The boy who fell in love with a tree
This is a story about a boy who fell in love with a tree… A story about powerful people changing the rulebook to stack the odds and line their pockets… I aim to create a story that will transport us so we get a glimpse of what that boy felt. The first 4 Chapters might be classified as a prologue depending on how you look at it. The boy quickly grows and the story really starts when the System arrives on Earth. I’m trying to achieve a relatively slow power progression and guide what we learn at a pace following the people in the story. There will be fighting but It’s more focused on base building. The MC is not all-powerful and all-knowing but he has some significant advantages. I’m trying to create a universe that makes sense in its own context. Much of what you will find, are my own world views, in a magnified way, as to make it for interesting fiction. The story took a life of its own when I started to write and I’m really happy with it. Not all of the tags I have marked will immediately be applied. There is stuff planned for far in the future such as the Sci-fi tag. There might be some cursing and gore but it is not very often. -------------- English is not my primary language, so I ask everyone to be forgiving. If you see a glaring error I would appreciate a msg but it is not feasible to fix everything. And if the story offends you, I wish you happiness, reading what you enjoy. ------------- Img link: https://unsplash.com/photos/EwKXn5CapA4

A Broken Power: Godreaper’s Judgement Book 1
Jack is just a low-class American who has an unfortunate encounter with a heavenly soldier that warns of a coming calamity. The warring factions of heaven are coming to conquer and enslave. Jack will do anything and everything to save the good people that he loves, but does that make him a good person, or is it the opposite? The mundane world is disappearing as Earth is introduced to the larger universe where personal power is everything. A high concept Cultivation story with a fast-paced progression.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
