《Different World along with One Piece System》Chapter 22 - Elements

“Sister Jing, where are you going?” A man asked the beautiful woman dressed in a light green robe.
“Come on, why don’t you follow your sister around. There might be a reward…” The beautiful woman let the word reward linger.
The man hearing what she said, couldn’t help but speed up his pace and follow behind his fellow sister.
She just joined the sect yesterday, but not only that she was made a core disciple. The elders in the sect called her a one of a kind genius. They’ve never seen a talent like her before. They were so excited that they had all run off to tell the headmaster of the sect.
When the news spread, all the disciples have come to take a look at the so called genius. Everyone could tell at an instant that her cultivation was beyond their own. The female disciples frowned, but held back their jealousy because of her looks. They wouldn’t say anything in front of her, because she was more powerful than them.
To the males, this woman was a goddess worth more than a country. Long black hair that flowed down smoothly to her lower back, smooth jade like skin. There could be no other perfect woman in the world!
Their desires instantly flared up, they had to capture such a beauty. If they did, they could live out the rest of their lives in peace.
Another wife? Crap! Who would need another wife when you could have her? Even if they did take in another wife, there would be no comparison.
All the males with good backgrounds and high cultivation puffed their chest out and walked up to her. They had to put on the best show, use their best moves.
Shameless? No, in this sect, who would care about face in front of this woman? As long as anyone of them could get her heart, their brothers would forget the way they acted and look upon them like a god. With this thought in mind, they acted on pure desire only.
Even the males who were already engaged couldn’t help but go up and talk to her. Their partners couldn’t help but scorn them.
They thought that she would be above the rest, making her attitude cold and isolated. She broke all their expectations, and greeted them.
“Sister Jing greets her fellow brothers and sisters.”
One sentence! Her voice was the sweet, and sounded pure. The hearts they had filled with nothing but desire was shattered. How could they taint something so sweet? They had to give up, no, they must give up!
Sister Jing was Leah, who just entered the sect. She had never entered a sect before, so she thought that the entrance exam would be hard. Who would have known that when she approached and said she wanted to join, the elders asked her if she was sure. When she told them yes, they instantly let her join and gave her the badge showing that she was a core disciple.
Two elders brought her into the sect, but then left her saying they would go inform the headmaster of her arrival.
She didn’t expect this at all, it was easier than she thought. However, with her talent, this was only natural. Any sect would love to have her, and for this low end sect, she could probably challenge the headmaster for his position.
Leah had a mission to do, so she didn’t want to waste her time. If this was just her doing it for cultivation purposes, then she wouldn’t act nice. She wasn’t a nice person, she was actually pretty cold. Except too many things happened in these last few weeks, making it seem that she was a warm hearted person.

From Yan’s vivre cards, to Yan challenging four Sage realm experts, to her grandfather letting her travel. How could her mood not seem good?
If those things never happened, then she wouldn’t even appear in front of these people. Even in the auction house, she only came out when there was a VIP guest involved. Even then, most of the things they brought were items she heard about or saw before. Yan was her first exception, what he brought in was something new. It was different from anything else.
Leah talked with her fellow disciples for a while. They blasted her with questions asking what clan she was from, to what martial skills she learned. They even asked if she was engaged to anyone.
She answered most of their questions, but they were filled with lies. How could she tell them about herself? Even the name she gave them was a fake. She didn’t know who Jing Jia was, nor did she care.
If anything, if this Jing Jia person was real, then their fame would increase tenfold.
The person sitting at the top of the Continent was also surnamed Jing, but who would ever think these two people could be related?
The first day, Leah got settled in and had a tour of the sect. It wasn’t a huge sect, so she didn’t believe it would have the same things her clan had.
All sects had a martial skill library, and a cultivation tower. These two places were the keys to having a sect, without them no one would join.
Leah wasn’t interested in either of them, she already had martial skills. Even without a cultivation tower, her cultivation speed would only drop slightly. They didn’t have an alchemist who was able to refine pills, nor did they have a transportation gate that would allow one to travel great distances.
They didn’t even have a pavilion that sold weapons for their disciples. This place was a total dump!
How could a branch of the alliance be like this? Shouldn’t it be a bit more glamorous? Leah could only shake her head.
After getting settled into the sect, she found a few young males. She approached them and asked them questions about the sect, their life, and the elders.
First she had to get them comfortable around her before she could ask what she really wanted.
It has already been a day since then, but she has these three young males eating out her hand. She wasn’t the type to use her looks for other purposes, but her grandfather always told her that the deadliest weapon to a man was a woman's beauty.
As she led these three young males around the sect, they arrived at the cultivation tower. It had a total of three floors. The top floors were for the normal disciples, while the bottom floor was for the core disciples.
Leah was assigned a room on the bottom floor on the first day she entered. She still wondered why she was never greeted by the headmaster, but when she asked the elders they told her that he was busy. He said that he would greet her when he was done.
She could only sigh. Leah wanted to become his disciple, that way she could learn what martial skills he used, weapon he was comfortable with, and if he had any armor. If she learned this then it would be of great help to Yan.
As she lead the three young males into her cultivation room, they gulped down hard. The door to the room closed and was locked. Everyone knew that the only way to leave was if the owner opened placed their badge against the seal on the door.

Every room was sound proof, and enhanced with an array to increase the amount of Qi gathered.
The three young men however had other thoughts. Leah lead them to her private cultivation room, and locked the door. What else could this mean, if not that?
They glanced at each other and smiled, this was probably going to be the best moment in their lives. When they saw Leah’s face, their expression instantly turned ugly. That moment they were waiting for, it wasn’t going to happen.
Leah’s expression turned cold as she glared at the three males. She had to play the friendly new girl, and she was already sick of it. In front of Yan and the rest, she would show them what she wanted them to see.
As someone who grew up learning from her grandfather and had the experience of a business woman, she knew that she could only say or do what would please the other person. In front of them, she wouldn’t show this side of herself.
If she did, she didn’t know how they would react. After all, she was a bit sadistic.
…….
A beautiful woman with long dark brown hair and a red dress was seated cross legged. She sneezed, and the guard at the entrance turned to look at her.
“Empress Jing, are you alright?” He asked her.
She wasn’t sick, so why would she sneeze? She could only reply back, “I’m fine.”
Turning back around, the guard continued to stand guard. His job was boring, but it paid a lot. He didn’t even know why he had to guard her, there wasn’t a need to. No one was stupid enough to try and fight her.
She was the Empress of BlueMoon Continent, but no one knew her full name. They only called her Empress, or Empress Jing. One would expect the person sitting on the throne to be a man, but she broke all expectations! She was like a dark horse, no one even knew who she was.
Killing all those that stood in her way, she took the throne right before them.
Closing her eyes, she focused on her cultivation again. She needed to breakthrough to the next realm.
“Jing’er, how are you?” A voice asked her in her head.
There was only one way to communicate with someone without sending them a letter. That was by using your Qi to send a link to someone else. The link would transmit your voice to that person, and that person's voice back to you.
The only people who are able to do such a thing would be Immortals.
“Hello father.” She responded back.
…..
“Brother Yan, we’ve found out something that might interest you.” Dex came into the room where Yan was at.
It was Yan and Dex’s room, while the room next door was for Vixen and Leah. However since Leah isn’t here, Yan has an extra key.
Yan was seated cross legged on his bed when Dex came in. Opening his eyes he asked, “What is it?”
Dex came in and sat on his bed, while Vixen sat down on it as well. “There will be a meeting in two days at the sect. It is with the headmaster and another headmaster from the alliance.”
“What is it for?”
Dex scratched his cheek, “Well… he didn’t say. Only that this talk has been going around for a while.” Dex pointed towards Vixen, “Maybe her charms weren’t good enough?” Saying that, he started laughing.
Vixen smacked him on the head. She didn’t do anything with that disciple, after she found out the information Dex killed him.
Yan looked out the window, “Maybe Leah will find out more. There might be something big going on here, and we don’t know about it.”
Yan felt that he should inform them of Mo, but he kept it to himself. Mo didn’t seem like the type who would come after them, so Yan wasn’t worried.
What made him a little bit worried was the fact that there was another Headmaster coming here. He was certain that he would be able to handle this sects headmaster, but the one that is coming here, he can’t tell. Not knowing their cultivation realm is something big, even knowing where they come from is something he should know.
The reason Yan choose this place for his first target was because the effects would be nice for making his name rise. A whole sect killed in a day, and burned to the ground. The alliance would have to pay attention to this. Not only them, everyone in the cultivation world would have to pay attention.
Now, there are two unknown substances that were added. One was Mo who seems to be on his side, but they were bound by words. Mo could easily act against him after he completes his goal.
The other was this unknown headmaster who was coming.
Yan gritted his teeth, if he had more power, then he wouldn’t need to worry. Did shanks have to worry about anything? Even stopping the war at marineford was nothing to him.
Why? Because he had enough power. He had his crew backing him up, they couldn’t go against him.
Yan could only close his eyes and continue practicing the cultivation method Leah gave him. He didn’t have any talent in cultivation, but if he had something to help him out, then maybe it could increase.
Yan learned from Leah that when one enters the Entry realm, they’ll be able to tell the element they are allied with. The elements include water, fire, wind, earth, ice, lightning, darkness, light, and a few others. A cultivator could only learn martial skills with those elements.
If the element in your body harmonizing with you, then your martial skills will have at least four times the damage!
Yan learned that there were some people who were able to have two elements in their body, but mostly everyone had one. Those who had two could be considered lucky, but also had the hardest time.
There were also those that had no elemental alignment. Meaning they could learn any martial skill, but the output would always be low.
No one shall be normal! (Talking about people who are inside the pirate crew)
