《Different World along with One Piece System》Chapter 17 - Prisoner

As time passed by, Le Long never came to see Yan D. Yu. His two younger siblings continued to come by, and even Fa Fing came to visit him as well. Once, Fa Fing and his two siblings met each other. Turns out, they got along very well.
Yan D. Yu didn’t cause any more trouble in Shing City, there was already a commotion going on as four of the five noble clan heads died. With their heads dead, the four clans lost a big part of their power.
Yan D. Yu still wanted to find himself a chef, and he needed on fast. With the auction approaching soon, he would be on his journey. He doubted that Fa Fing could cook, and he wasn’t the best cook in the world either.
Yan D. Yu still had a few things to settle about his pirate crew. He has been thinking hard and long about it ever since he has arrived in this world. Still, even though it has been three years, he still hasn’t found a good pirate crew name. A few ideas came to mind, but he didn’t know if they were good enough.
As he got closer with Fa Fing, he told him about his situation and why he wanted his help. Yan D. Yu told him that his goal was a lot harder to complete than he think it is. The reason Yan D. Yu knows that is because of the name Fa Fing told him. Lin Xia was one of the four people in this world who had the highest bounty. If that person had that much bounty, then they were sure to be one of the top cultivators in the world.
Yan D. Yu was sure not to tell Fa Fing about how he obtained his powers. Frankly, he didn’t want him to know that he could get Devil Fruit easy. As time passed and if he found Fa Fing worthy, he would gift him one.
He has already been thinking about what type of Devil Fruit to gift him if he gave him one. However, for now he still needed to know if this sea was the same in the One Piece world. Now that he has Fa Fing, he can test it out when he has the chance to.
Although Yan D. Yu didn’t wander around the city too much, he still went outside. The Inn gave him ok food, but a restaurant had better food. He noticed that there were more and more people arriving in town, he figured that it was for the auction.
He doesn’t know how big these auctions are, but they must be big things in this world. That, or this time the auction house had some special items they were getting rid of. Whatever it was, Yan D. Yu already decided he would attend the auction. He needed to anyways to see how his vivre card would sell. That, and he needed to collect his money from the sale.
Miss Chun sent him an invitation to a party, but he didn’t attend. Being sure that there would be high class figures there, he didn’t want to get involved in their affairs. If he attended, he was sure that trouble would happen. That wasn’t the only reason he didn’t attend, the other being he didn’t have any other clothes to wear.
Buying some clothing from the system was easy, but he didn’t want to buy anymore. At least not now.
After Yan D. Yu didn’t attend the party, Miss Chun sent him a card. It was a platium card he didn’t know what it was used for, but he would find out sooner or later.

It was now the day of the auction, but since it wouldn’t start until the evening most of the people who were going to attend stayed in their rooms. A few went around the city buying things they found interesting.
Fa Fing stepped into Yan D. Yu’s room.
“Brother Yan, he has arrived!” Fa Fing told Yan D. Yu who was laying on his bed reading ‘Foundations of Qi’.
“Who?” Yan D. Yu asked.
“Lu Chen! You didn’t forget our agreement did you?”
Yan D. Yu laughed as he put the book into his spatial ring. “Of course not, how did you find out he arrived?”
Fa Fing rubbed his nose and smiled. “I have my ways. Anyways, he is staying at ‘Peerless Inn’, but i’m not sure if it is room twenty or twenty-one.”
Yan D. Yu nodded and got up from his bed. “Let’s go.”
“You mean right now? It’s too early, can’t you wait until night?”
Yan D. Yu put on his orange hat and shook his head. “No can do, we are leaving after the auction.”
“That is too soon, I still need to settle things with my aunt. I can’t just leave her living here!”
Yan D. Yu knew about Fa Fing’s situation, and about his aunt. He already decided that he would help Fa Fing out with his aunt, but he needed the money from the auction house first. What she did with the money, he could care less.
“Ok, we won’t leave exactly right after the auction. You’ll see her today, but we are still leaving today.” Yan D. Yu told him.
Fa Fing seemed hesitant at first, but still agreed. He thought that he would get to spend a little more time with his aunt, but he was fine with it. Already being together for ten years was enough, he knew that they would part ways eventually.
If he joined a sect years ago then he would have been parted from her, but that didn’t happen. He was already fifteen, by the law in this world at sixteen he would be considered an adult. It was time for him to grow up and stop living under his aunts roof.
Together with Yan D. Yu, they went over to ‘Peerless Inn’. Yan D. Yu was a little too straightforward and directly walked upstairs to room twenty. He knocked on the room door for room twenty while he had Fa Fing knock on twenty-one.
Fa Fing shook his head when a woman answered the door. Yan D. Yu was going to continue knocking on the door, but he started hearing panting and moaning coming from the room.
Turning to look at Fa Fing who arrived next to him he asked, “Did Lu Chen bring a woman with him?”
“How am I supposed to know? I only found out where he was staying and room number.” Fa Fing replied as his face blushed a bit.
Yan D. Yu figured that he knew what was going on in that room. He was at that age afterall. However blushing from it? That was another thing. Yan D. Yu back on earth was a master at watching porn, there was no need to blush.
“Well, guess there is only one way to find out.” Yan D. Yu told him as he kicked open the door.
The woman who was on top of the man riding him, turned her head and screamed. She grabbed the white sheet as she covered herself up.
The man who was enjoying the pleasure was a fit man, with a few scars on his chest. Hearing the door get broken down, his face blackened.

“Who the hell are you? Where are my guards?” He asked Yan D. Yu and Fa Fing.
Both Yan D. Yu and Fa Fing looked at each other, wondering what guards did this guy have. They came here, and easily broke into this room. There was no one standing guard, so what the heck is he talking about.
Yan D. Yu looked at the woman, she wasn’t ugly at all. Her appearance didn’t lose to Miss Chun who was at the auction. As she watched his eye’s, she tightened her grip over the sheets that covered her body.
“Let’s cut to the chase, are you Lu Chen?” Yan D. Yu asked him.
“Why? Who sent you, was it Lu Bi? Maybe Chong Chi? Whatever they paid, i’ll double it!” Lu Chen told him.
“I… actually I do want your money! However, I also have someone who wants information. Besides, if I want your money, i’ll just take it!” Saying that, Yan D. Yu laughed madly.
The woman slowly slipped off of the bed, and had her back on the wall as she made her way to her clothes. Yan D. Yu pointed at her, “You, go back over there.”
She wanted to speak out, but Yan D. Yu’s finger light up with purple flames. Once she had seen that, she didn’t dare say another word. She started cursing Lu Chen for taking an interest in her at the brothel. Now because of the stuff happening with him, she was now involved!
As she looked over Yan D. Yu’s body, she suddenly thought it wouldn’t be that bad being taken by him. Maybe she could manipulate him, using him for her own purposes.
“What information? I don’t know anything.” Lu Chen said.
“Lies, my aunt said your name!” Fa Fing spoke up.
Lu Chen looked at Fa Fing, “Who the hell are you? Don’t tell me she got pregnant and wants me to take responsibility for it? Go back and tell her it was a one time thing.”
Fa Fing clenched his fist with anger. What type of person was this? He couldn’t even imagine how many woman this man played around with.
“What do you know about the Li clan?” Fa Fing asked him.
Lu Chen’s eyes grew big as he realized something. He started laughing, “I see now. You’re that brat! I didn’t think you were still alive, this must be fate.”
Fa Fing drew out a silver needle from his sleeves, “I won’t ask again, tell me what you know about the Li clan!”
“Haha, I think you are asking the wrong question. Isn’t it better to know who killed your family? Or, should I say your ‘family’? No matter, come on, kill me? You have nowhere to hide! Once he finds out where you are, it is only a matter of time before he comes for you.” Lu Chen started laughing.
Watching the way Lu Chen was speaking, Yan D. Yu thought that some of what he said could be true. Watching Fa Fing’s face change, he couldn’t just let Lu Chen play with his emotions. “What are you talking about? Stop playing with the kid, and tell him what is going on, then your death will be a lot less painful.” Yan D. Yu said.
“You think I fear death? Ha, come, I embrace it!”Lu Chen had his hand under the pillow, but suddenly it moved out as he threw a dagger towards Yan D. Yu.
As the dagger came towards him, he moved his head slightly left and a purple flame flew towards Lu Chen’s head. Lu Chen wasn’t a cultivator, he just had a lot of money. To put it in other words, he was still a mortal. He had no way to dodge Yan D. Yu’s fire bullet, his head snapped back as he hit the bed.
Seeing Lu Chen die, the woman vomited. She has seen people beaten close to death, but never has she seen anyone die.
She wondered what Yan D. Yu wanted with her. If it wasn’t for him pointing his finger at her with that purple flame, she would have fled. She wiped her mouth and glanced at Lu Chen’s dead body, almost vomiting again. Would what happened to him, happen to her as well?
“What do we do with her?” Yan D. Yu asked Fa Fing.
Fa Fing was still trying to take in what Lu Chen said, he couldn’t make heads of it. If what he told him was correct, then his parents weren’t really his parents. If they weren’t, then who was? He still needed to find out who was looking for him? Could it have been Lin Xia?
Now that Lu Chen is dead, he has to find Lin Xia. Except, he doesn’t know where he is at. This world is big, and he knows that. Since Yan D. Yu is going to travel the world, it only solidified his reason to go along with him. Fa Fing needs to get to the bottom of this.
Yan D. Yu tapped his shoulder, seeing that he wasn’t responding. “Hey, what do you want to do to you?”
Fa Fing looked at him with surprise before he looked at the woman. He wasn’t the type of person to kill innocent people, but she has already seen his face! She heard the things that happened here, so if she were to escape, she could leak this information out. If ‘that’ person heard it, he would be sure to come find him.
Fa Fing didn’t want her to die, but she also couldn’t leave. He looked up at Yan D. Yu, “Can’t we take her as a prisoner? At least until we get far away from here?”
Yan D. Yu didn’t think he would say that. This guy poisoned a kid, he thought that he would at least say kill her. Turns out, that this kid wasn’t as bad as he thought he was.
“Get yourself dressed, you are coming with us.” Yan D. Yu told the woman.
Hearing what he said, her body stiffened. Why would she want to become a prisoner? What if they sold her off? Selling her off was different from her selling herself! She did that to earn a living, but if they sold her off to someone then she would become a slave.
Yan D. Yu seeing that the woman wasn’t moving told her again. “Get dressed, it isn’t like you are shy about your body. We are two innocent boys, we don’t have the hearts of a tiger.”
Yan D. Yu pointed towards some clothes that were on the ground. “Fa Fing, go see if he had a spatial ring or something. Since he said he would pay more than our ‘employers’ he must have brought a lot of money with him. Whatever is in there, you can give to your aunt.”
Fa Fing nodded his head as he walked over to the clothes and started rummaging through them. As he was doing that, the woman slowly walked over to her clothes and picked them up.
Dropping the white sheet around her body, she gave Yan D. Yu an eye full. She took a quick peek at Yan D. Yu to see if he was looking, but he was watching over Fa Fing. Taking this chance, she quickly put her clothes on. She was use to getting dressed and undressed quickly.
What she didn’t know was that Yan D. Yu already took a glance at her. It was a quick glance, but enough for him to see what she was working with. His heartbeat sped up as this was his first time seeing a real life naked woman. Yan D. Yu was definitely not the type of person who would force a woman to do things against her will.
Unlike those pirates in this world who did that, he would not. His definition of pirates were different than theirs.
Fa Fing grinned as he pulled out two spatial rings. One was bronze and another was blue. He put both on his fingers as he checked to see what was inside. “Brother Yan, this guy was loaded! I’m rich!” He shouted.
“Right… make sure to take care of your aunt. After you talk to her, meet me at the auction house. If you can’t get in tell Bing Zu my name, i’ll tell him you are coming.” Yan D. Yu explained to him.
He looked at the woman, and told her she was coming with him. Together, they headed to the auction house. There were multiple times she felt like escaping, but everytime she tried to make her move, Yan D. Yu would look at her. After a few failed attempts, she gave up hope and resigned to her fate.
Yan D. Yu arrived at the auction house ahead of time. He was greeted by Bing Zu, who was more than happy to see him. Yan D. Yu had to explain to him why he didn’t attend the party, but Bing Zu said it didn’t mean much to him. It was Miss Chun who was upset he didn’t show.
As they were talking, Yan D. Yu told him that he would be expecting someone to find him later. Bing Zu understood and made arrangements for Fa Fing when he arrived.
Seeing that Yan D. Yu came ahead of time, he wanted to know why, but Yan D. Yu said he didn’t have anything else to do. Bing Zu showed him to his room he would have during the auction. It was a VIP room on the upper floors, having a long couch and three chairs. There was a curtain to hide others from seeing inside, Bing Zu told him if he wanted to bid on something he would have to press a button so his room would light up when he shouted out a price.
…..
In the Le clan mansion, Le Li and Le Jie were both meditating. Suddenly Le Li sighed as he let his back hit the ground and stretched his arms out. “Le Jie, why couldn’t we see big bro today?”
“Because you are bound to tell him.” She spoke quickly as she had her eyes closed.
“He is bound to find out sooner or later, I don’t know why we have to keep it a secret. Even if dad said we couldn’t tell anyone, doesn’t he deserve to know?”
“Be quiet, if dad wanted him to know, then he would tell him. Besides, how do you think he would respond if we just went ‘Brother Yan, did you know you have an older half sister? Or that your mother is still alive and currently missing?’ Think about it realistically for once, let him live his life.”
Le Li sighed. Such a big tale, and he couldn’t even tell his older brother something that involved his family. He still didn’t understand how Yan D. Yu’s mother survived. A few days after Yan D. Yu disappeared, an old lady came and took his mothers corpse.
She beat up Le Long leaving him bedridden for two months, while also cursing at their mother. The old lady said that if it wasn’t for the treasure she put in her body, she really would be dead. With her was a young girl, who rushed to Yan D. Yu’s mother side crying.
That was a day none of them could forget. They found out Yan D. Yu’s mother had another child, and that Yan D. Yu’s grandmother has been searching for her. The old lady told the Le Clan if they appeared before her again, she would murder them all.
She scared them, so no one had the guts to tell her about Yan Yu. If she were to find out that she had a great-grandson and he was missing, they knew it would be over for them. They were lucky enough to still be here today.
After that, everyone who witnessed what happened never spoke of it again.
No one thought that they would see Yan D. Yu again, but they did. He appeared like a ghost, showing up when they least expected it. Le Li was tempted to tell him, but he couldn’t.
“I just hope they end up meeting again…”
….
Fa Fing entered the room where Yan D. Yu was located. He easily found the woman who was with them earlier, she was seated far away from Yan D. Yu. He wondered what happened between those two, but didn’t ask. Some things were best left unsaid.
As he sat down in a seat next to Yan D. Yu, he took out a note. It was folded up nicely, he passed it to Yan D. Yu.
Grabbing it, he wondered what it was.
“My aunt told me to give it to you. I didn’t read it, she said that I shouldn’t.” Fa Fing told him.
Yan D. Yu couldn’t believe that this guy wouldn’t read this note, surely he was tempted to.
He opened it up to see what it was about.
‘Mr. Yan, I must say that you are someone quite special. I’ve never seen my nephew so happy when speaking of someone before. He told me you are a mortal who can hold his own against four Sage realm experts. Therefore, I feel that he is safe in your care.
It was time for Li Yang to leave the nest. Every child wants to have an adventure, and gain fame along the way. I feel sad that he is leaving so soon, but it was inevitable.
I must thank you in advance for caring for him. There are some things that can’t be said, but he will want to know. He thirst for revenge, but he is not strong enough. I won’t tell you either, because you are also not capable of helping him with his problem. Just be safe on your journey.
If you happen to come across anyone you can’t deal with, please make sure Li Yang runs away. He is my jewel, it is already hard for me to part with him.
I’m not going to carry on, just please keep him safe. Hopefully the next time we meet, he’ll be a whole new person.’
Reading the note made him feel that there was something about Fa Fing she wasn’t telling him. Fa Fing didn’t know what was special about himself, but Yan D. Yu had a gut feeling he wasn’t normal.
The note soon caught on fire, as it burned to ash. Yan D. Yu was surprised, but didn’t say anything. It seems that in this world, there are indeed many mysteries.
….
The auction began, as many items were put on display. The bidding was fierce, but Yan D. Yu wasn’t interested in any of the items they had. Fa Fing was interested in a box of golden needles, so Yan D. Yu bid on them for him.
Behind the auction in a private room was Miss Chun. She was seated in front of an old man. His face might have showed that he was old, but he had rippling muscles. This was her grandfather.
“Grandfather, what do you think? Those vivre cards are quite the item right?” She asked him.
“Indeed, Chun’er you’ve done good. Now, tell me why you want to leave.” He told her.
“What are you talking about?” She asked him playing dumb.
“Chun’er, i’ve raised you. I know you wouldn’t call me here just for this item, you could have just explained it in a letter. The last time you called me to come in person was when you wanted to go to one of those sects. Now you call me again, you must want to leave.” He explained to her. His tone was caring as he spoke with her.
Miss Chun didn’t speak, it was like her mouth was glued down.
“Chun’er, I won’t ask. You are old enough to make your own decisions now. I’ve protected you for years, I think you are capable of deciding your own future. I’ve also thought about it, and decided to join up with the Alliance again. To be honest, I wanted you to come with me, but I know you wouldn’t want to. Just be safe, I don’t want any harm to come to you.”
Miss Chun had tears in her eyes hearing her grandfather's words. She was thinking up a way to tell him that she wanted to leave for the longest, but she couldn't put it into words. She got up and jumped into his arms giving him a big hug.
“Thank you!”
“Don’t thank me just yet.” He said as he pulled out a piece of a vivre card, he passed it to her. “I want to know where you are at and anything else, I don’t think I need to say anymore.” He told her.
She nodded her head as she bit her finger drawing blood. A drop it the vivre card as she gave it back to her grandfather.
“I’ll see you later grandfather.” She told him as she bounced out of the room.
After she left, he sighed. “Just like your mother.”
….
Yan D. Yu walked out of the auction house with a giant smile on his face. That platinum card was a bank card he could use at any of the auction houses to get money or use to buy things they put up for auction. His vivre card sold for around a billion each, which meant that he was rich. At least he didn’t need to worry about money for a long time.
Fa Fing was by his side also grinning. He happened to have a good pal that brought him some golden needles. How could he not be happy? Now his strength would increase even more, and he could try out some new moves. Why shouldn’t he be happy about it.
The only one who wasn’t happy was the woman who was forced to come along with them. She felt wronged in so many ways, but what could she do? The strong ruled the weak, it was just the law of the world.
“Brother Yan, where to next?” Fa Fing asked him.
“I don’t know, wherever the wind blows.” Yan D. Yu told him.
To be honest, he didn’t have a goal of where he should go next. There were many options, and he still wanted to search for those Devil Fruit. He already had a few bounty missions that he still wanted to complete. Maybe on his journey, he would be able to complete them.
“What do you mean? Besides, how are we going to get around?” Fa Fing asked him confused.
“I’ve got my ways.” Yan D. Yu responded as he closed his eyes. Compared to the other things in the system, the boats and ships were cheap. He already knew what type of ship he wanted.
As he wanted to purchase the ship, the admin asked him if he wanted to customize it. Yan D. Yu told him sure, and the admin started explaining the things that he could customize.
Naturally one of them was the Jolly Roger emblem, which he changed. He already knew his name now, so he made the Jolly Roger emblem to mean the same thing. Next he created and changed a few rooms around. The ship he picked had its own engine, but it was supplied by materials that he didn’t have. Instead, he decided to change it to where it would run off of his flames.
The total cost of the ship was 35000 points. It wasn’t a small ship either, bigger than what Luffy had. As he opened his eyes, there was something hovering in the sky.
Fa Fing and the woman looked up at the giant island floating in the sky. They didn’t even know how it appeared!
Yan D. Yu laughed, as he produced a rope and tied the woman's arms up. Now that he had his ship, he had a problem. He could get up to it, but how would those two?
“Yan D. Yu, you aren’t thinking about leaving without me are you?” A sweet voice called out from behind him.
He turned his head, and spotted Miss Chun in a green dress. “Why are you here?” He asked her.
“Naturally, i’m going with you.”
He didn’t know why she wanted to join him, but he didn’t refuse. He figured maybe she could cook, so he was alright with her joining.
He pointed towards the floating island, “Think you can get those two up there?”
Miss Chun looked up, and nodded her head. She produced two swords, that floated in the air. “Yes! These swords are what my grandfather calls ‘Flying Swords’, he found them in a ruin and gave them to me.”
Yan D. Yu nodded his head. “Give one to Fa Fing, you can take the woman up there.”
Saying that, he jumped off the ground and his arms turned into purple fiery wings. Flying high in the sky, he landed on top of the island.
It was different from a floating piece of rock. This was something that Shiki used the ‘Island Ship’ except there were a few things he changed. The top was still a ship, with a lot of rooms. It was basically like its own city. Yan D. Yu didn’t know how big his crew would be, but even if it was small, he still wanted this ship.
It was able to be used in the air, or in the sea. Who knows what kind of things he would find in this world.
Soon after, the other three came up landing on the ship. Their eyes were wide open and jaws dropped. Anyone would be like this when seeing Shiki’s ship, it was in a world of its own.
“Brother Yan… where did this come from?” Fa Fing asked as he swallowed his saliva.
“I have my ways.” Yan D. Yu replied.
“Fine, but what’s the name of the ship and your pirate crew? You still haven’t told me.” Fa Fing said as he touched the ground, feeling to see if the grass was real.
Yan D. Yu seemed to remember something. “That’s right, our pirate crews name is….”
End of the first arc, I want to thank you for reading my Fic.
I have something in mind for the pirate crews name, but i'm still liking some of the names you guys gave me.
I liked how most of you thought it would be Sunny for the ship, I was actually going to make it the Going Merry xD, but talking with my friend made me change my mind. He gave me an idea for a story arc, so I went with this ship instead.
As many of you have said, he should have made his own ship with the technology in this world, and i'm all for that. I have some ideas about how his ship will be customized even further.
As this is the last chapter in the arc, it is also longer.
Once again, if you have any ideas or suggestions for the story, let me know. I'm more than happy to hear about them.
Also, I won't be posting chapters for a bit as I said in my other novel, that I am moving. So once I get settled in, i'll continue posting. I might go to the library at Uni, to continue writing, I don't know yet.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed what i've written so far!
We are at 38k words for 17 chapters, not bad.

I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.
8 165Dream Theater
Long casted shadows danced in the background, as a man squibbled and jotted words on yellow papers. A mere novelty, remnant and ghost that was left to age away along with the forgotten theater, a man grasped for inspiration to salvage what was left of his soul. Abandoned in the squalid room, Pxan was left hauntedly in the furthest corners of insanity that bubbled in his mind. No one would listen to his plight, denouncing him and claiming his mind was not right. Faceless pages and books yet to be read ogled puppy eyes, ready to be penned by the madman. “Pxan! Pxan! Over here! To me!” Clamored the unpublished manuscripts. Pxan’s fingers quivered nervously, thoughts of failure flooded his mind. Wanting to surrender to the pressure. “No!” He cried. “I’ve had enough of writing.” Books with eyes all stared at him, begging for the tales to be written. Their pleaful eyes were all that Pxan needed to be moved to writing again. The man sighed and raised his pen again, stroking the first letters of inspiration that bore fruit from his mind.
