《Different World along with One Piece System》Chapter 16 - I need your help

Watching as his two sons lay on the white bed with their eyes closed, he let out a deep breath. It seems like they weren’t in any more danger. Glancing at the bandage around his son's body, it pained him. There was no way to reconnect lost limbs, he would be a cripple!
Turning to the doctor, he bowed. “Thanks Brother Ye, you’ve saved my sons once again.”
The old man played with his long white beard and laughed. “Don’t mention it, just say that we are even now.”
Taking one more peek at his sons, he left the building. Why would Yan Yu harm them? No, the question he really wants to know is how his son got so strong?
It should not be possible for him to be able to fight against them, after all, he was still mortal. Shaking his head, he ran back to where Yan Yu was.
To him who was at the peak of the Sage realm, it didn’t take long. Yan Yu sheathed his sword, but he jumped and landed in front of him.
“Yan Yu, how could you harm your brothers? Where is Ming Chow?” He asked his son.
In Shing town, there were four other clans that had the same strength as his. When he arrived, Yan Yu was fighting the leader of the Ming clan. He was worried, but his other two sons were in worse condition. If he didn’t take them to the doctor, they would die.
Now that he has arrived again, only Yan Yu is standing there. He didn’t spot Ming Chow.
Yan D. Yu clicked his tongue. “Why don’t you ask them why they tried to harm me? I was only doing what any normal person would do. As for Ming Chow and the other three, you don’t have to worry about them anymore. They’re dead.”
“What do you mean dead, who killed them? Surely you couldn’t have.”
“Why don’t you ask anyone who witnessed it. They will tell you what happened here. Whether you believe it or not, is in your hands.” Yan D. Yu told him.
“Impossible! What did you do, make a deal with the devil?”
Yan D. Yu laughed, “You could say something like that. Le Long, enough of that, did you talk to that wife of yours? Since those two found me, you must have told them about my return. Did you think they would let me live? If they did that, they probably thought I would come back here for revenge.”
“Why do you care where Mu’er is? I already asked her, and she cried tears of joy when she heard of your return.” Le long told him.
Yan D. Yu crossed his arms. “I feel sorry for you, you actually believe a word that comes out of her mouth? She isn’t a good person, but it seems like you are too stupid to understand that.”
“You don’t have to say anything, i’ll take my leave here. Have a safe life Le Long, hopefully you won’t die by her hands in the future.” Yan D. Yu told him as he walked away.
“Yan Yu, stop!” Le Long hearing how Yan Yu talked about his wife was already angry, thus he raised his voice. Not to mention both his sons were harmed earlier, how could he contain his anger?
Yan D. Yu continued walking away, completely ignoring him. “As your father, I command you to stop!” Le Long yelled at him.
Yan D. Yu stopped and turned around. “You may be my father, but I don’t see you as one. You’re just an idiot who can’t see what's right in front of him. Maybe you have the right to command everyone else, but you can’t command me.” Saying that, he turned back and continued walking away.

Le Long clenched his hands together, if this was anyone else he would have gave chase. This wasn’t anyone else, it was his son and someone above him. If Yan Yu got rid of Ming Chow, then he could also get rid of him.
Le Long could only stand there in silence.
Yan D. Yu used a lot of energy during that fight, but he learned something. Only certain people could harm his body. He didn’t know how far the strength of his brothers reached, but they were far away from Ming Chow’s strength.
Even the other three people who joined in with Ming Chow, their strength wasn’t any lower. Yan D. Yu figured that only a certain realm and above could harm him, as to why, he didn’t understand. Maybe there was something special about that realm?
There was only one way to find out, and that was to learn more about the cultivation realms. For now though, he was hungry. It wasn’t that he wanted to eat, but that was his only source of energy. The food he ate filled him up and refilled his energy, so naturally he had to eat food after a battle.
There were a lot of abilities in the system, maybe he could find one that would make him use less energy during fights.
Making his way to walked into the inn he stayed in and ordered eight plates of food. The middle aged man looked at him wondering if he could eat it all, but he didn’t ask. As long as one paid for it, he didn’t care how much food they would eat.
A waiter showed Yan D. Yu to a table, where he was seated while waiting for his food to arrive.
A few minutes after he sat down, two young kids sat down at his table. They looked alike, but you could tell them apart thanks to the different styles they had. Yan D. Yu knew who these two were, they were his younger brother and sister.
Both were glaring daggers at him, as if they wanted to murder him. He didn’t know if they knew who he was, so he pretended not to know them. “Do you need something?”
“Who are you, and where did you get your powers?” His younger brother asked.
Didn’t seem like he wanted to beat around the bush either.
Yan D. Yu smiled. These two kids didn’t do anything bad to him when he was a servant. He definitely wouldn’t harm them.
“You already know who I am, as for my powers.” He put his finger to his lips. “That’s a secret.”
His younger sister snorted, but his brother’s eyes shined with this weird light. “Teach me!” He declared.
“No thanks, my skills aren’t teachable.” Yan D. Yu rejected him.
“Why not? If you can learn them, so can I!” He wasn’t giving up, if Yan D. Yu taught him his swordplay, he would be sure to please his master at the sect.
They say, if you want to beat your enemy, it is best to learn from him and find his weakness. He was going to take this chance to learn from Yan D. Yu, then later on he would make him pay for beating up his brothers.
“Trust me, you can’t learn my skills. Ask me again when you are older Le Li.”
His younger brother's name was Le Li, and when he heard his name being called out, his eyes opened wide. “How do you know my name?”
Yan D. Yu laughed. “Everyone knows the young masters of the Le clan.”

His younger sister snorted once again. “Le Li, take a good look at him.” She glared at Yan D. Yu saying, “And you, stop playing with him!”
Le Li took a hard glance at Yan D. Yu, but he didn’t know what his sister was saying. He really couldn’t remember who this guy was in front of him. “Le Jie, tell me, who is he?” He asked his sister.
She muttered, “Yan Yu.”
Le Li almost jumped out of his skin when he heard that name. “Didn’t he disappear? Mother said he died.” Le Li took another look at Yan D. Yu, and couldn’t imagine Yan Yu as him. The difference between both of them was huge!
Yan D. Yu laughed lightly. “How’d you know it was me?”
Le Li seemed to understand. “Brother, you don’t know this bu-”
Le Jie punched him in his mouth. “Shut up!”
Le Li placed his hand over his mouth and shut up. Since his sister was upset for some reason, he didn’t want to get on her bad side. “Brother, how’d you get so strong?” Le Li asked him.
With his chest out, Yan D. Yu proudly said, “Your big bro was always strong. Are you just now realizing my worth?”
Le Li felt as if Yan Yu was mocking him. He could barely beat him in a fight when they were younger.
“How long are you staying here? Why didn’t you say in the mansion?” Le Li asked.
“A couple of days, and saying in the mansion is not worth the drama. How’s that mother of yours?” Yan D. Yu asked him.
“You don’t know? Oh right… you weren’t there. Anyways, she isn’t with us right now, father and her had a fight so she moved out. Father said she’ll return soon, but we’ve already been at the sect for five months and I didn’t see her when came back home.”Le Li explained.
Yan D. Yu raised his eyebrow. “I see. Take care of Le Long, he should be worried about you two. Also you two joined a sect?”
Le Li nodded. “Yes Purple Moon sect. Father told us we had talent in martial arts, so he let us go there to increase our strength. You don’t know this, but we are strong!” He said as he smiled.
“Stronger than your brothers?”
Le Li laughed. “Those two aren’t strong, they just get by using father's power.”
Yan D. Yu looked at Le Jie, “What about you? Why are you so quiet?”
Le Jie didn’t say anything. Seems like she was upset with Yan D. Yu about something, but wouldn’t say what.
He could only force out a smile.
Soon, a three waiters arrived at Yan D. Yu’s table with his food. Licking his lips, he dug in.
Le Jie grabbed a fork and knife, digging in as well. Le Li looked at Yan D. Yu for approval before he started eating as well.
Together, the three of them at their meal. Yan D. Yu didn’t mind sharing his meal with his younger siblings, it was his job as the older brother to take care of them. During the meal, Yan D. Yu took the time to find out some things about cultivation. It was easier to ask someone who already knew about it than reading it yourself.
His brother and sister were both in the Disciple realm, while he found out that the people he fought earlier were in the Sage realm. He asked them what the difference was between each realm. Le Li was the one who spoke the most, but when he talked about cultivation his younger sister started to talk a little bit more as well.
Since they were both disciples of a Sage, he found out that when someone reached the Sage realm their body would be covered in a small amount of Qi. It could provide an extra amount of defense, while also allowing them to execute more powerful skills.
Yan D. Yu thought of it as Haki instead. To him, the only way something could harm him is if they had Haki. Now he understood why he was able to be harmed, he needed to be more careful on his journey.
After the meal was finished, he gave his younger siblings a vivre card and told them to hold on to it. They asked what that plain piece of paper was, but he told them it was special and if they ever wanted to find him in the future, they could use that. At first, he was thinking about buying another item from the system so they could keep in touch, but changed his mind. If he did that, his younger brother was sure to constantly bug him.
Yan D. Yu sent them both on their merry way, saying he’ll be leaving town after the auction. Le Li pleaded for him to stay at least until they had to go back to the sect, but Yan D. Yu told him he couldn’t.
After finally getting rid of those two, he made his way to his room. Closing the door, he made his way to his bed. “You need something?” He asked.
“Who are you, how were you able to beat those people?”
Yan D. Yu sat on his bed and looked at the person in the corner. It was Fa Fing.
“Is that really important? Don’t you want to ask another question?” Yan D. Yu asked him.
He figured that if Fa Fing was here, he wanted something from him. He wouldn’t come back here just to find out who he was.
Fa Fing wanted to find out more information about Yan D. Yu before he wanted to ask him what he came here for. Except now, he wasn’t giving out any information.
“I need your help.” Fa Fing told him.
“Of course you do, but what do you need?”
“There’s this guy coming to the auction, I need some information from hi-”
“Deal, but you must do something for me.” Yan D. Yu cut him off, he thought it would be something else. He never expected it to be something as easy as gaining information. All he had to do was beat him up a little, then he’ll talk.
Fa Fing knew that whatever he wanted would come at a cost. He didn’t know how much it would cost, but he would find a way to pay it off. “Speak, what do you want?”
“I wan… you should join me. To be honest, I don’t know anything about you, and you have nothing on me. I know for a fact you aren’t a genius doctor, but you still have your worth. So, join me.” At first, Yan D. Yu was going to tell him I want you, but he remembered how the old man reacted. He couldn’t have that again.
Fa Fing was lost in thought, but figured that Yan D. Yu must be from some secret sect or something. Maybe he was a master, this was a chance to fulfill his old dream. Who didn’t know how much money cultivators had to toss around, if he joined with Yan D. Yu he would become rich! Then his aunt didn’t need to work again, this was perfect!
“Sure, I don’t mind joining your sect.”
Yan D. Yu shook his head. “It isn’t a sect.”
“Fine, i’ll join your clan.”
“It isn’t a clan either.”
“Eh, what is it?”
“A pirate crew.”
“...”
“What, no fast reply?”
“No way! Who wants to be a pirate?”
Yan D. Yu frowned, this was the best thing to be. “What’s wrong with being a pirate? You get to travel the world, challenge the authorities, find treasure, isn’t that the greatest thing?”
Fa Fing launched at Yan D. Yu. “You want to challenge the Alliance? Don’t you think you are dreaming too big?”
“Aren’t you dreaming too low? There was once a man who defied the logic of the world. Beating people stronger than himself, breaking into an impenetrable prison only to break out of it, the government hated him. However, no matter what they did, he still survived. So you telling me i’m dreaming too low, I think i’m not dreaming big enough.”
“If he was so great, why haven’t I heard of him?” Fa Fing asked him.
“You weren’t born then, his era is long over. It’s my time now, so join me. Don't you have something you want to accomplish? A dream left unfulfilled, an ambition?”
‘Why are his eyes so clear? Why does he want to go against the Alliance? How come i’m getting this strange feeling? Maybe… maybe he’ll be able to do it? However I can’t…’
Keep the names coming. Also, don't forget if you have any ideas for the story you can comment about it.

Annotated By Sins, Magic Academy
(Chapters are output once a day, unless I am sicck or have a migraine. Once every two days.) Due to being a little too edgy, I decided to reboot in another slightly less edgy version.. 'People fear the unknown, it's classic to fear what isn't known, right? You fear what can harm you at that second. You fear death and betrayal. You fear power that is beyond reason? Why is it that I can't make you feel fear at my name? Why is it that when my footsteps are heard, you don't shat yourself? Does the Dancing Skulls meaning nothing to you?' I slowly take off my mask. Staring the blue-eyed king in the face, watching his eyes trembled and leak.. His lips crack and bleed from imprints. His nose flare out and blood leak out. And yet, in my dark green eyes, I saw no fear.

Join me in the great adventure of ANT TENSEI! . . Status: [Being Re-written/ Discontinued/On Hiatus] 'Final' Chapter: Chapter 14 . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Official Rewrite Notice: _______________________________________________________________ . . . As of May 18th, 2015, the particular version of Ant Tensei now being titled 'Original' was discontinued in favor 'Redux', the official rewrite of the novel. The reason being that I wasn't actually taking it seriously for more than half of the chapters. All of my Fantasy-Styled works were never originally intended for publication, but after a surprising amount of attention during the initial weeks of release on a different medium, the decision was made to develop my Fantasy-Styled works at my professional level. This decision has thus sparked the decision to Re-Launch Ant Tensei as "Ant Tensei Redux". If there are still a number of those still interested in the old version of the story that was written as a way to relieve myself of excess time, then i'll eventually look into reviving the original intent for Ant Tensei Original and draft off an independant series for it under the title "Ant Tensei Original". For now, however, "Ant Tensei Redux" shall be the only version being progressively developed and released. Please share your thoughts on this early version of my original novel, Ant Tensei. There were 14 chapters of Original released before the development of Redux began, the chapter 7.5 special not included. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Overall Status: (Ongoing)
