《Different World along with One Piece System》Chapter 13 - Encountering

Yan D. Yu wandered around the city for an hour, seeing all of its glory. He was debating on selling a vivre card in the auction house for money, but decided to wait longer. The auction house wouldn’t have an auction until three more days. He still had plenty of time to sell it if he wanted to.
After walking around the city, he went to an inn. It wasn’t too expensive but also not cheap, costing two hundred gold coins a night. He booked it for three nights.
Unlike Rabbit Inn where Yu Ying worked, this owner was a middle aged man. Yan D. Yu also looked into other inn’s, but finding one with a female owner is hard. There was only one inn in Shing City that had a female owner, but that inn was expensive and fully booked.
He was able to tell why it was booked as well. The owner was a blonde beauty, something that isn’t seen too often. She only wore lipstick and light makeup, but Yan D. Yu thought she might look better if she didn’t wear it at all.
In his room, Yan D. Yu was seated with his legs crossed over. ‘Foundations of Qi’ was in front of him opened to the illustrations. There shouldn’t be a reason why this body can’t cultivate, so he decided to try.
Yan D. Yu was taking deep breaths, breathing in and out slowly. The Qi in the air was slowly gathering around him. As if a vortex was in his body pulling it to him. It continued trying to piece his sky, but it couldn’t.
As time passed by, Yan D. Yu only managed to absorb a little bit of the Qi in the air. Cultivating was harder than what he thought it would be. He didn’t know if his body had the talent for cultivation or not, but he would continue trying. His aim wasn’t to become the world's greatest cultivator, he would be satisfied with being at the Entry level.
The way this was going, it would take him months before he would have enough Qi inside his body to form a core. Yan D. Yu couldn’t compare his speed to anyone else’s because he has no one to compare himself to.
Yan D. Yu would rather spend time training his haki, but the he has only seen a little of Luffy’s training. Maybe he could come up with his own method of training his haki. If it was leveled up higher, then he knew that these cultivators would be easy to deal with.
Opening his eyes, Yan D. Yu yawned. Taking a peek out the window, it was already dark outside.
Getting up from the floor, he laid back on his bed. “A medic, a navigator, a chef, maybe even someone to repair the ship.” He started talking to himself thinking about his future crew mates. An idea came to his head, since this world had cultivators, if he added them to his crew he would have even more options. A weaponsmith, an alchemist, maybe someone to teach others cultivation methods.

In this world there are many options for his crew. This world probably didn’t have any deep history like they had in One Piece. Even if they did, how could he come across someone who wants to find out this world's history? Finding someone like that is not an easy task.
Closing his eyes, he sighed. The system interface appeared, as he browsed through the different types of ships he could have. Yan D. Yu searched through them before but now he needed to get ready to buy one. Because after these next few days come to an end, he is going across the world to become the Pirate King.
There was still the question he had, as to what kind of devil fruits appeared. He checked his system, but all the ones that were there before are still there.
Therefore, there has to be only one conclusion. These Devil Fruits aren’t the ones that appeared in One Piece, they are new.
Yan D. Yu couldn’t even imagine what kind of power they would have. How could they even appear here anyways?
He could care less for these Devil Fruits because he already had his own, but he still didn’t want others to have them. A Devil Fruit with an unknown ability is no good, there could be endless possibilities!
As he wandered the world, he would have to be careful now. The Alliance was killing those who went against them, and the whole world is basically searching for these seven treasures!
Opening his eyes, he watched the door. Soon it began to creak open and a brown haired male came in. Closing the door, he let out a deep breath.
“Safe!” He said while laughing.
Yan D. Yu coughed, while the brown haired youth jumped up. “What are you doing in here?”
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” Yan D. Yu replied to him.
“No…”
Suddenly Yan D. Yu remembered that he saw this kid earlier. He was being chased by some man who said he poisoned his son. “You’re that ‘genius’ doctor huh?”
Giggling, he realized that someone knew his title. It seemed like he was quite famous now. “I am. What do you need, your meridians fixed? Have some rare disease that can’t be cured?” He asked Yan D. Yu as he rubbed his nose smiling proudly.
‘...why do I get the feeling this kid isn’t even a doctor…’ Yan D. Yu thought to himself.
“I heard you poisoned some kid, that true?”
Suddenly his proud moment instantly vanished as he realized that he stepped into the wrong room. Originally he thought this room was empty so he came in here to hide. Now it seemed like a trap.
“Maybe I am, maybe i’m not. Depends on who's asking.”
Yan D. Yu threw up his hands, “Hey, I could care less. You’re in my room, so I should at least know a little about you right?”
The youth didn’t say anything, but continued watching Yan D. Yu.
Seeing how he wasn’t going to answer him, Yan D. Yu decided not to dig too much into him. “Fine, but you should at least get rid of your pursuers before you drag someone else into it.”

“What are you talking about, I made sure to lose them!” He claimed.
Yan D. Yu pointed his index finger and middle finger at the youth as it flared up with purple flames.
“H-hey, we can talk this out! I’m Fa Fing, fifteen years old… genius doctor!” He gave out some information about himself. However, Yan D. Yu did not put down his hand as he continued aiming at the youth.
“Look… i’ll give you money. I can’t die, I still have things I need to do!”
A purple bullet shot out from his fingers as it flew towards the youth. The youth gritted his teeth as he ducked, rolled, and threw five thin objects towards Yan D. Yu.
Yan D. Yu coated his hand in Armament Haki blocking the objects flying his way. A ding sound was heard as the objects hit his hand and fell to the floor. They were silver needles.
Fa Fing smiled at Yan D. Yu. “Stupid, they were poisoned. Don’t think about trying to find a cure, there isn’t one.”
Yan D. Yu ignored him, the needles didn’t even pierce his skin so he didn’t need to worry about poison. Even if he was poisoned, Marco had a way to deal with any type of harm that came to his body, so he could to.
Seeing that Yan D. Yu wasn’t even looking at him, Fa Fing ran towards the window. Breaking the glass, he fled.
Yan D. Yu glanced at the window, then got up and walked towards the door. He opened it, and there was the dead body of that middle aged man who was chasing Fa Fing earlier. “Fa Fing huh?” He said as he burned the body.
Closing his door, he went back to his bed and laid down. There was a smile on his face as he closed his eyes.
Yan D. Yu really wanted that old man to join his pirate crew, but that failed. However he felt that he could make Fa Fing join his crew.
….
Fa Fing fled the scene as fast as he could. He was already a middle ranked Disciple, he never thought that he would meet someone like Yan D. Yu. At first he felt he didn’t have to worry about him since he was only a mortal. But then, Yan D. Yu made purple flames appear and he knew that he wasn’t ordinary.
‘Who is he?’ Fa Fing asked himself. Those flames, the way he asked him questions, he didn’t know what to make of it.
He is a self proclaimed genius. It wasn’t secretly a lie, without anyone’s help or guidance he already entered the Disciple realm. Such a feat wasn’t easy to accomplish.
It was his dream to enter a sect to further himself, but his aunt couldn’t afford to send him to one. That dream was crushed instantly, and he didn’t want to put a burden on her so he could only continue to train by himself.
Luckily he picked up a few skills from a few thieves so he was able to obtain the cultivation books he needed. They weren’t the greatest things in the world, but it let him get by.
As for him being a genius doctor, he could only laugh at the fools who believed such a thing. Sure he knows a few tricks that could make him pass as a doctor, but he liked to work with poison.
After passing by a few streets, under the night sky he entered a broken window. His room was clean, but there wasn’t a bed. Opening the door slowly, he made his way to the main hall of this small house.
There under a wool blanket laid his aunt.
Fa Fing’s parents died when he was five years old. Since then his aunt as been raising him, but she already had it hard for herself. With an extra mouth to feed, her life only got harder. But Fa Fing never heard one word of complaint from her. She didn’t regret taking him in as she never had a child of her own.
He had two goals in life. One was to make sure his aunt never had to work again and could live out her life in peace, while the other was to find his parents killers.
He knew that his aunt didn’t want him to be involved which is why she never told him much about his parents death. Fa Fing always knew that someone had to kill them, and he wanted to know why.
Him and his aunt were the last remaining members of their clan. Even coming to this city, they had to use fake names in case someone wanted to come to find them as well.
Finding his parents murderer will be harder than it seems, because the only thing he has to go off of is a name. Lin Xia.
The only reason he knew that name was because his aunt was sleep talking one night. When she spoke, it was like she was afraid of that person. Fa Fing didn’t know who that was, but it was his only link to his parents murder.
Leaning against the wall, he watched his aunt sleep peacefully.
“Li… Yang…” His aunt muttered in her sleep as her lips curled upwards.
He didn’t know what she was thinking of him for, but as long as she was happy she could dream of him all she wanted. Fa Fing was the name he was told to use when they came to this town, but his parents named him Li Yang.
There were only two members of the Li clan left, him and her.
Suddenly her expression changed as her eyes tightened. “No… you can’t have him! ...Lu Chen, you can’t!”
“Lu Chen?” Fa Fing asked himself. This was her first time speaking that name, but he was sure he heard it someone before. However, he just couldn’t put his tongue on it...
Can't wait to see his ship! I'm sure someone out there knows what it will be.

The Dark Lord Gillian - Tales of Prompted Madness (Complete)
There's an evil wizard. A dark knight. An elf with a shovel. There's a dude with a car. And there is a lot of just complete and total chaos. ... As an explanation for those mildly interested or mildly confused: this is a story that was crafted from the beloved-madness that is r/writingprompts. From one prompt, to the next prompt, to the next, with no other way to progress except taking a new prompt and using it. Far as stories go, this one was spawned by a mix of blind-clicks, and dice-rolls, more than any true selection process. Fantasy driven, it was written mostly in my spare hours between work-projects and on lunch breaks (whenever I was lucky enough to get those) by clicking on reddit writingprompts that I could find within those windows of time. Title is notable cliche, and I'm far more than just open to alternative suggestions. This story is complete and will by copied and pasted in with minimal to no clean-up. It will not be held to much in the way of quality standards. So if you have corrections, just keep that in mind... But, on the brighter-side of things, there will be an awful lot of it. Apologies ahead of time.
