《Omnia Sidera: Spaceship Soldier in the Fantasy World》PREFACE (Can be skipped, but please, at least read the small disclaimer before starting to read)
Hi everyone,
I want to take some time for a small preface to manage expectations and present my idea of where this series is going.
I sincerely hope you'll appreciate my work. If you do, leave a rating or a simple comment, it is always a huge boost to morale and a motivation to continue. Since I am posting as I write, there is a pretty high chance I might take in readers' input about the story (I have a pretty good idea where I am going but nothing is set in stone).
If you have more questions, you can either DM me or join the discord (link in the comment above and in the story description).
Have a nice one and take care!
DISCLAIMER
This is the first draft of the story.
The plotline and some details may change slightly (based on readers' suggestions or while editing) as long as I won't publish the final draft for volume 1.
I am not a native English speaker so there will be typos and my choice of words might sometimes be strange, or outright wrong.
If you find errors or plot holes, you are more than welcome to point them out.
I plan on revising everything and doing a heavy dose of editing when I am done with volume 1.
Please note that I will remove edit suggestions once they are addressed to unclog the comment section.
If you leave an edit suggestion, do not post it as part of a regular comment to avoid having the comment deleted at the same time as the edit suggestion.
If you do not want your suggestion removed for whatever reason, just write "do not remove" at the end and I won't do it.
MANAGING EXPECTATIONS
Setting
This is an isekai fantasy story before anything else, and the scifi elements are secondary. The main character will toy with futuristic technologies a lot but the setting - the world in which the story takes place - is a medieval fantasy world with magic, knights, gods, and shit.

Genres
It will start as a survival/discovery adventure and will eventually evolve into kingdom-building. There will be action and combat at both small scale (MC and crew) and large scale (army vs army) but nothing too pervasive or unjustified by the narrative. There might be some romance and slice of life, but this is not the main focus and will serve primarily to develop and shape the characters. There is no game/system elements.
Characters
MC is a spaceship soldier from thousands of years in the future of our own world that gets stuck in a fantasy world. His technologies and knowledge give him a clear advantage but he can still be threatened by, say, a giant dragon or unknown sorcery. He is by no mean an invincible power creep, even though he is quite powerful right off the bat by this world standards. There will also be a cast of support characters with their own POV, each with their own struggles, that I will try to explore and let grow through the series.
Progression
This is not a progression story where the MC gains insane new abilities and master everything new he encounters. There will be some progression, but mostly for characters from the secondary cast. The MC will get stronger, but it will be slow, and his strength will come from his allies, the infrastructures/kingdom he will build around him, and maybe, him slowly inventing and developing magitech.
Themes
The main thing that motivated me to start writing this story was to depict a clash of culture upon first contact between science and magic, so one of the main themes will be the technological gap, both magical and scientific, between two worlds. Each character of the main cast also has an arc or personal story that revolves around either coming of age, revenge/redemption, love and identity crises, or fate/fatality.

Pacing
It will not be a fast-paced story most of the time. There will be some light element of slice-of-life mixed in. I like worldbuilding and exploring my characters more than I do writing combat after combat scenes. I expect it will take about 30 chapters to present the setting and main cast, and about 30 more (probably more) before we get into the army/kingdom building part. Once everything is set up the way I like, I plan on speeding things up but I prefer to start with a smaller scope since it's my first attempt at writing, and believe I'll do better by starting small than if I jump into something too ambitious right off the bat.
Release rate
I post as I write, so there is no fixed schedule for new releases. Minimum 1 per month, maximum 2 per week, until Volume 1 is finished.

Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.

The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
