We've done it.
It's at this point that I can de facto nicely conclude the first book of the series. Written in a way that doesn't make me puke. Wow. Seriously, wow. It's going to need another rewrite to be publishable on Kindle or something (YES I KNOW IT'S VERY GOOD ALREADY BUT I NEED IT EVEN BETTER OR I'LL BE TERRIFIED OF THE IDEA OF PEOPLE PAYING FOR IT AND THEN NOT LIKING IT).

I'll continue publishing, mostly because I want to have at least a rough draft of another book done. What if I suddenly get an idea for some ingenious plottwist, but then discover that it feels bad without a proper foreshadowing a book earlier/would be better if some talk a book earlier was written differently AFTER the first book was published? Terrible.
Be aware of one thing - from now on, we're back to being officially on the first draft. Quality will probably decrease a bit. I'll do my best, but can't promise to keep the current level (since the first book is de facto a second draft). If you read thus far, consider rating the story on the basis of the concluded book one (so chapters 1-38). And on book 2 focus on throwing in some ideas/theories/suggestions and so on, since I know how much of a shitty mess (from plot side) my first drafts tend to be.

Regretting his actions immediately, he was left with the prospect of a complete panic attack due to the numerous amount of people outside at that day. However, he pressed on, determined to find some sort of delicious food to consume. Life had other plans for him. He gets hit by a car, and after hearing strange words from an even stranger voice, he dies. However, minutes, hours, maybe even days later, he awakes, his senses of smell, sight, and hearing robbed of him. Author's Note: This is my first story on Royal Road, so it might not be the best. Although, I hope you enjoy! I'll probably write around 2000 words or more per chapter, but on average a bit more. If you're wondering, the cover art is drawn by me, just in case you thought I wasn't giving credit to the creator.This story might often times lean more into the comedy side of things, but stuff can still get pretty serious at times, especially in the later chapters. The story isn't super dark or anything, but character death is of course going to be a thing. Who? Well, you'll find out, eventually. Also, I'll upload chapters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. When as he reaches for it the power isn't all it's cracked up to be.Systemless in a world where everyone else has access to one Elliot must grapple with a multitude of problems from without and within. The 'gods' might actually be incompetent, uncaring, downright malicious, or all three. His power is constantly three steps behind those who chose the quick path to power. There's also the antisocial tendencies he's brought with him from earth. Can he trust the 'god' who seems to be taking him under their wing? Will he be able to catch up to his fellow earthlings who're ever increasing in power? Is it possible he may just break out of his shell along the way?*** What to expect ***The initial start will be quite slow, building the setting, history, and individuals involved. There is a small bit of progression in these early chapters for the MC, but more along the lines of figuring out how their systemless power works. though once the story gains traction it won't stop.*** Don't tell Elliot, but ***Elliot hates to admit it but he's very clearly antisocial.
