Mary is still in shock unable to comprehend how the situation had gotten out of control. Ever since she was a child, Mary had always had her promotions. They had always paved the way for her and aided her. However, ever since, Izo Reed had appeared, her premonitions began to go astray. The events that should have transpired upon contact with Izo did not unfold as they had been presented in her dreams.

Why the punch bowl incident should have led Izo to create a huge public scene at the ball. But maybe the issue lay that the Izo before her was the wrong one, the twin sister of the original. And if so, for the first time in her life, Mary would be blind to the future. Mary feels a sense of dread come over her at the very thought and pales a bit.

“I’m so sorry, Mary, this is all my fault,” Kendall interjected.

Mary glances up and sees the three young men glancing at her with worry. Mary composes herself and shakes her head. “No, it’s mine, I was the one who misunderstood Miss Reed,” Mary quietly replied.

Alexander rushes in and says, “Nonsense, you were not at fault. We’re at fault for imposing our assumptions onto you and Miss Reed.”

Before Mary can reply an older couple emerges from the crowd and halts. The man and woman are both handsome and cold faced. The couple coldly eyes Mary in dissatisfaction. “Alexander, we are leaving for the evening,” Mrs. Brisbane flatly stated.

Alexander opens his mouth to protest his mother’s actions, when Mr. Brisbane coldly rerates, “Do you think we missed your little show with the girl here? Do you know what your actions could have led to?! Not only is Miss Reed single-handedly one of the most powerful figures in Emerald City, but the missing twin daughter of the Lee Family! Do you have an idea the power the Lee family wields? We could be ruined with a single word from them!”

Alexander wilts under his father’s criticism and without care for embarrassment, Mrs. Brisbane grabs her son by the shoulder and drags him away. Mr. Brisbane snorts at Mary and icily says, “I’ve seen plenty of girls like you, innocent lilies who hide their teeth. If shall only warn you once, come near my son again, I will see you destroyed, young lady.” Without further reproach, Mr. Brisbane moves away rapidly planning to send his son far away the very next day.

Mary trembles as Eric places his hand on her shoulder in comfort. “Don’t worry, Mary, we’re still here for you,” Eric comfortingly said.

Mary pales as a sense of fear begins to bloom in her very core as a vision of the future suddenly is forced onto herself. Mary blinks in confusion as she stares at the reflection of the woman in the mirror.

The woman’s long golden hair was long and messy cascading over her shoulders to cover her chest and lower body area. The young woman had delicate sky-blue eyes and sweet features. Her parted lips are rosebud pink as the young woman in an unconscious manner seductively wets her lips.

The woman’s slender, delicate body is naked and covered in hickeys and sexual bruising. There were soft leather chains around her wrists and ankles with a padded leather collar around her neck. The young woman feels her body tremble in wanton lust as she hears footsteps at the door. The mirror's reflection shows the door behind her open to reveal two handsome young men, one with vibrant red hair and bright green eyes and the other dark haired with gray colored eyes.

The young men in chorus chime, “Honey, we’re home.” One of the men begins to caress her body, while the other makes her moan with his kisses. Mary soundlessly opens her mouth to scream as the vision fades and everything darkens.

Mary faints onto the floor as Kendall and Eric with worry and great carry her away to rest. Tragically that would be the last time the world ever saw poor Mary Sue. Some would go on to whisper she ran away and others would whisper darker things, that Mary Sue had become a kept pet. However, the general world would never know of Mary Sue’s fate and it was better that way.
