Hello!

I've recently had a small influx of followers that has emphasised an issue with this story I've known for some time but hadn't devoted time to fixing: the start of the story.

So, I'm going to spend the majority of my time editing the beginning chapters, removing things like purple prose, enhancing the voice and personality of the protagonist, and changing some of the weirder and less realistic actions and consequences.

I predict this process is going to take a few weeks as I'm also going to change a few things so future writing is better as well. I've also melted like a popsicle this last week which has severely hampered my productivity and doesn't bode well for future chapters if this temperature persists.

Chapters won't be guaranteed but I will still try to post a chapter every week, most likely around the 2000 word mark.
