Chapter 110
Left Hand of God 2
-:-
30 minutes later
Saiga Piggery and Cattle Ranch
Main Mansion
The Saiga property was unusually large for the products it produces.
It had the usual facilities expected of a company.
Large fields for grazing cattle.
Pig pens for, well, pigs.
A slaughterhouse for ‘processing’ the products.
Another warehouse for packaging said products
Just beside the warehouse was a large parking lot where trucks would stop to ship the products to the consumers.
Due to the distance of the Saiga farm from the nearest city, there was a decently sized apartment complex for employees that don't want to travel hours everyday.
It was pretty normal so far.
However there were a few suspicious structures that littered around the questionably large Saiga property. With some of these being too heavily fortified to be a mere meat production facility.
One particular building was a massive 1 square kilometer box with no doors, windows or any visible means to enter or exit the facility.
Out of all the questionable looking structures in the Saiga property, this was the most imposing one.
However, despite all these, a humvee containing Juno, Shale and Yasumi somehow passed through the walls like they were nothing, with Bob jogging in a few seconds after.
This entire structure was partly Shale’s smithery and partly a testing ground.
And despite its appearance, the structure was extremely easy to get in to. You just need to walk through the wall.
Getting out was another thing entirely.
And given the myriads of Shale’s questionable creations, it was probably for the best.
The interior was surprisingly baren.
In a corner of structure was a decently sized room encased in thick black steel. This was where Shale stored his equipment and did his work. The rest of the structure was a wide empty space.
However, upon closer inspection, the empty space was filled with signs of explosions, claw marks and other signs of violence.
As to what created these damages, no one knew. The only ones that had knowledge of these incidents were Shale who created the ‘things’ and Juno who subsequently destroyed them when they went of out control.
It was one of the few activities that Juno truly enjoyed in her stay in her hometown.
After parking the humvee near Shale’s workshop, Juno changed into the jet black armor the Duergar made for her.
“Hmm…. very nice. What’s it called?” asked Juno while she did stretches in order to test the armor’s flexibility.
“I call it the Sanngrior Valkyrie Armor, and as per your specifications…. *sigh*.... What a stupid looking armor.” complained Shale
“Really? I think it's quite pretty.” replied Juno.
“Armor isn't suppose to be pretty! It’s suppose to keep you alive! This thing traded extra armor plating for frills!”
Following the theme of all of Juno’s outfits, the Sanngrior Valkyrie Armor revealed almost no skin, especially when Juno dons the helm. However, the armor hugged her body in order to emphasize her lustrous body.
However, Shale’s main complaint was the fact that aside from the helm, cuirass, gauntlets and greaves, the armor was nothing more than a pretty dress.
“Since you did follow my specifications, then the dress should be made of Soul Eater Spider Silk. It should be as good as steel plate” said Juno

“Yes… NORMAL steel plate! You’re going to go up against some godlike individual with normal steel plates?! Are you insane?! And this is on top of the curse you had me put on it! I ask you once again, ARE YOU INSANE?!” replied the frustrated Shale
“You’re worrying too much my midget friend.”
“BULLSHIT! All your slaves is soulbound to that stupid book of yours, while that book is soulbound to you! If you die, we all die!”
“Me? Die? Are you stupid? Enough of the worthless concerns. Give me a rundown of the suit’s capabilities.” said Juno in a dismissive manner, much to the frustration of those who would die if she did die.
“The Sanngrior Valkyrie Armor is lightweight with orichalcum as its primary ingredient. It’s not the greatest in terms of defense, but it has extremely high magical conductivity while being much easier to acquire compared to the likes of mithril and adamantium. As per your insane specification, it has the ‘Berserker’ Enchantment woven into it.” Shale paused for a bit, then sighed heavily. “... and the 10000 lives sacrificed to it greatly amplifies the Berserker’s effect to absurd levels.”
After Shale’s explanation, an unexpected hand shot up and asked a question.
“Unfortunately, I am not versed in the realms of magic. Can I ask for an explanation to what the Berserker Enchantment is?” asked Yasami Saiga.
Shale shot Juno a glance, as if asking for permission.
It was widely known among Juno’s slaves that she had held no trust towards her mother.
Juno nodded without much interest.
She knew very well that her mother was trying to find a way to break free of her shackles. It was fun to watch the controlling bitch squirm in absolute futility.
Just to be clear though, there was a way to remove the shackles of slavery….. Though the only who can remove it was the one that casted it in the first place.
Long story short, it was nigh impossible. ~Teehee~
Nevertheless, Juno’s current lifestyle was boring as hell. Aside from the times when Shale’s contraptions go out of control, she had zero satisfying combat situations.
But more importantly, her living dildo/ sperm factory was nowhere near her! While her fingers were impressive at unleashing tides of pleasure, it was a poor substitute for her soon-to-be godlike joystick.
Thus, Juno was sexually frustrated, hungry for murder and painfully bored.
Watching her mother’s futile resistance was one of the very few activities she truly enjoyed. As such, giving her mother a little hope would make the beat down a lot more satisfying.
For now, she allowed Shale to explain
“The Berserker Enchantment shuts off the user’s pain receptors to unleash strength far beyond the body’s ability to handle. Normally this would kill the user with self inflicted damage, but we sacrificed 10000 lives to give the armor a Mad Regeneration Enchantment which vastly increases the body to heal the more it receives damage. This way, the damage will be canceled out by the regeneration”
“What is the problem then?” asked Yasami
“Both the Berserker Enchantment and the Mad Regeneration drives the user insane with bloodlust. And Juno wants both enchantments to work at the same time? Not even her can withstand such mind breaking madness. Besides, the Mad Regeneration doesn't make the user immortal. She will die if someone crushes her head and she’ll take all of us down with her.”

“Oh….. I see.”
“Okay okay. That’s enough. We’ve wasted enough time with senseless discussions. Prepare for the armor’s tests” said Juno
With the feeling of gloom and doom hovering over Juno’s slaves, majority of the personnels remained within the confines of Shale’s workshop while Juno went out into the empty space.
She did some preliminary test such as jogging, shadow boxing and a bit of breakdancing
The remaining personnels outside of Shale’s smithery used a heavy duty forklift to bring out a metal casket approximately 3 meters talls. After setting it down, the personnels went into Shale’s smithery post haste.
Inside the casket was a troll that Shale experimented on in order to understand the Mad Regeneration Enchantment.
“As initially stated, we’ll first test the Mad Regeneration’s limit. I’ll keep feeding it mana to see how high the cap is. After that, combat testing. Easy right?” said Juno through the comlink implanted in the helm of the armor.
“I’m going to make a last futile effort here and beg you not to go through with this.” Shale responded
“Yep. Futile. Now shut up and observe.” replied Juno
She stood unmoving in the middle of the empty space for a few moments. Approximately one minute later, the haze began to appear in the area near Juno.
This was high levels of heat generated by the use of large amounts of mana.
As time passed, the haze spread farther and farther with the temperature increasing with each passing second.
5 minutes
10 minutes
20 minutes
30 minutes
It did not stop and, from the looks of it, Juno was in some sort of trance. It was the only explanation that fitted her lack of movement and complete ignorance to the dessert-like heat
“Er… Isnt this taking a little to long?” asked Yasami
“Indeed it is. Juno is a monster by any stretch of the imagination. I made the Sanngrior Valkyrie Armor as powerful as possible to match whatever strength she was hiding. I guess it’s kinda backfiring on me now.” Shale lightheartedly laughed.
“Does that armor even have a cap?”
“.... Probably….”
Yasami and all the personnel present groaned in response.
The only way the first test ends is that if the armor could no longer receive mana or if Juno runs out of mana to give.
And from what everyone could see, both would take forever to accomplish.
After a little debate among the people within the workshop, Yasami took matter into her own hands.
“Proceed with the second test.” said Yasami
“You have got to be kidding.” replied Shale with a voice filled with bloodlust.
Though terrified, Yasami stood her ground and explained.
“We have to wake her up at some point and I doubt anyone would want to go near her right now. If what you told me was true, then she’s mentally unstable right now and would rip us apart if we so much as touch her.” said Yasami, which everyone shared agreement on. “If that’s the case, then why not let the troll take the beating? She was going to kill it anyways and the Sanngrior Valkyrie Armor is there to protect her.”
Shale groaned in annoyance.
Despite Yasami’s untrustworthiness, she was logically correct.
Shale thought about this for a few moments before nodding in agreement.
He took a metallic sphere with Duergar runes etched all over it. He traced one of the runes, and not a moment later, a loud sound could be heard outside.
This was immediately followed by an ear splitting roar and a set of thunderous footsteps.
The Mad Regeneration has long driven the troll insane.
If it had any semblance of self preservation, it would have instinctively noticed the massive amounts of mana swirling around Juno and would think twice of even breathing the same room as her.
Unfortunately, this was not the case.
The troll idiotically sent Juno flying into the distance with a soccer kick.
Juno bounced a couple of times before a painful faceplant.
She lied like a broken doll for a couple of seconds before forcing her injured body up.
While the armored parts were unharmed, her limbs were bent into weird angles after hitting the ground a few times.
As advertised, the Mad Regeneration Enchantment immediately kicked in. Intense heat covered the injured limbs and the sound of bones cracking could be heard as the armor forcefully repaired the damages.
Juno started walking then broke into a sprint as she charged towards the troll.
The monster seemed to have the same idea as it also broke into a run.
As the 2 were about to collide, a few unexpected happened.
The troll threw a hammer fist to crush Juno.
Contrary to her supposed mental instability, Juno skillfully used the martial art ‘Heavenly Water’s Flowing Current Blocking Art’ to absorb all of the damage. Unlike its original function, Juno tweaked the Heavenly Water’s Flowing Current Blocking Art by forcing all the kinetic energy to travel from her arm that received the blow to her free hand.
With the combined might of the trolls reckless attack and Juno’s magic+chi physical enhancements, her counterpunch obliterated the troll’s arm in a shower of gore and blood.
Before the troll’s regeneration could kick in, Juno rocketed into the it’s face with a flying knee before following it with a barrage of punches as it went down.
In both Magic and Martial Arts, the brain was the most important organ in the body since it subconsciously controls passive regeneration or body strengthening.
Losing the brain was equal to death.
The troll died before it could even hit the ground.
Despite being cloacked in an aura of violence and rage, Juno calmly did a few streches like it was nothing.
“Jeez! Was that really necessary? You guys know you could have contacted me via the coms!” said Juno with a hint of annoyance.
“What?! The Mad Regeneration is at full blast! How can you still talk?! ” exclaimed Shale
“Oh, this pathetic excuse of an ‘insanity’? It’s just a bit of annoying fly buzzing about. Nothing special.” said Juno before Shale began bombarding her with questions.
However, in Juno’s mind, she completed her previous statement
“It was much much worse back in the good old days”

AOT: Boats
I know, the title doesnt seem to make sense. Its an acronym. For what? Hm. T means True. Up to you otherwise. Oh, right. The acronym actually does have an impact on one of the themes of the "story". At the same time I mixed it up with a reference to the original plan for this when I started, so yay. A double. Well, actually, a triple. Again, up to you. I should also mention that, as the rhyme that starts the story probably tells you, its gonna get kinda disturbing. All kinds of disturbing. Just to let you know.

Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about.
