Termination 13

The Mad Progenitor’s appearance varied widely from one to another. Apparently it was based on the afflicted’s personal preference, but no one knew for sure.

In Bella Sway’s case, she was a 7 meter tall giant with 6 arms and a dinosaur like tail. She also had mouths all over her body in order to make it easier to eat anyone she comes in contact with.

Whatever she looked like, she was a beast not only in appearance but also in brute force.

The Mad Progenitor charged through a building and rushed towards the bridge. In her wake were countless vampire zombies that were ready to rip anything apart.

“Begin the final phase of the plan! Evacuate everyone ASAP! We are purging this city!” said Theo through the coms.

A recording began to play through all public announcement speakers all over the city.

“Warning: This city is to be subjected to a nuclear strike. Please evacuate as soon as possible.”

This message looped over and over again.

The effects were immediate.

The Hassan-i-Sabbah used all of their ammo as quickly as possible before making a hasty retreat.

They completely destroyed the bridges in order to keep the vampire zombies from getting to the airport.

At this point, even the superheroes were faltering.

“Leave now foolish mortals or die. This is your first and last warning” said Theo as he maneuvered his Terminator towards the Mad Progenitor

Was he worried about the nuclear bomb?

Not really.

One of the Terminator’s major upgrades was specifically designed to survive being at the receiving end of a nuclear bomb

This was a countermeasure in an event where Theo would be forced to detonate his nukes while he was at close proximity.

As such, Theo had no problem with fulfilling his mission even if he gets nuked in the process.

However, someone who was blinded by the power of love and fluffy goodness didnt have enough reason left in them to care about some nuclear bomb.

Edward Cullet rushed towards Bella in hopes to speak to her.

“Edward! Dont do it!” screamed Prince Sa’hel

Before Sa’hel could chase after Edward, Theo’s Terminator blocked his path.

“Foolish mortal. Evacuate while you still can.” said Theo

“But what about Edward?! I cant just leave him!” replied Sa’hel

“I’ll deal with him. I doubt a mortal like you will survive a direct hit from a nuclear bomb. Leave now foolish prince”

Sa’hel was reluctant but the Valalyan Warriors pulled him away

“I don't know who you are but promise that you’ll bring him back!” said Sa’hel as his guards escorted him unto a car

Theo did not respond.

He had no intention saving someone that doomed hundreds of thousands of innocent lives for the sake of his love.

Theo wasn't going to kill Edward.

He just wasn't going to save him.

A few moments later, Edward Cullet stood at the path of the Mad Progenitor.

Theo tried to catch up but this was impossible.

The Terminator’s heavy armor was so cumbersome that it made it impossible to jog. With the help of the thrusters, it could perform a brisk walk at best.

As such, Theo could only watch Edward’s appeal to what little humanity Bella had left.

Edward bravely stood his ground in front of the approaching beast and the horde of monsters in her wake.

“Bella! It’s me Edward! Your lover! I know you can hear me! Please calm down! Remeber when we-”

SPLAT

Edward’s heartfelt appeal using the power of love resulted in him getting squashed like a bug under Bella’s gigantic foot.

She didn't even realize that she stepped on something and continued her rampage

“Pfft… But that’s still a better love story than a certain movie….. HAHAHAHA!” said Theo as he had a LOL moment at Edward’s pathetic demise.

With no one left to be a victim of collateral damage, Theo unleashed the full might of his arsenal.

As he moved forward, Theo fired off his minigun into the monstrous horde. He made sure to aim for the Mad Progenitor’s face to generate some agro.

Of course, no sane or insane living thing would enjoy getting shot in the face.

The Mad Progenitor roared in anger.

It made a mad dash and threw a punch of pure brutal force

A sound akin to a bomb exploding shook the city block.

The fearsome force sent shockwaves that shattered the ground and shattered all the windows of nearby buildings.

While the Mad Progenitor's strength awe inspiring, the one receiving the punch was equally impressive.

The Terminator caught the punch with its left arm like a boss. The Fire Claw sank into the progenitor's flesh like a hot knife through pig fat.

Before the progenitor could pull take any action, the Terminator pulled its arm with a monstrous strength that shocked both the progenitor and Theo himself.

Theo then followed it by chopping the arm off with the Kin Slayer before throwing said arm into the progenitor's face.

The progenitor screamed in agony as it's arm literally painted the town red.

That agony turned into rage as it realized that the arm was not regenerating as it should.

The progenitor roared in a manner that made Theo thought that it was issuing a command.

This theory proved to be true as vampire zombie horde slammed into the Terminator in an avalanced of bodies.

While they could easily run past him and head for the airport, they swarmed around Theo and attacked him with everything they had.

Naturally, their attacks did nothing to an armor that could withstand Nosferatu's fury.

However, they served as an annoying wall that kept the Terminator from the progenitor.

To remedy this, Theo unleashed the Omni Directional Flamethrower at full force and turned the area into hell on earth.

Within seconds, the vampire zombie horde was completely incinerated under the intense heat.

Being caught within the firestorm, the progenitor jumped back and began rolling on the ground to put out the flames.

Enraged by this, the progenitor commanded more of her vampire zombie minions to attack Theo.

However, the result was the same no matter how many bodies was thrown at the Terminator.

All of them turned into ash under the intense heat of the Terminator's flamethrower.

The progenitor pulled out steel beams from a nearby construction site and used them as clubs.

With the fury of a walking natural disaster, the progenitor lunged at the Terminator with rage and spite.

At the same time, a massive horde of vampire zombies attacked Theo from all directions.

The street quickly turned into a hellish landscape.

The air shook as the 2 monstrous beings traded blows with all of their might. The only casualties were the progenitors vampire zombies that ended up getting caught in the crossfire. Blood, severed limbs and the occasional severed yet largely intact head rained from the sky as bodies exploded from the titanic clash of steel.

Theo would have loved to use his flamethrower at this moment, but it was out of fuel. This was direct result of using it so liberally for the last few hours.

But more importantly, the Terminator was on its last legs.

FYI: The Terminator was not damaged in any shape or form. If anything, Theo was surprised how little damage it has suffered through his slugfest with the Mad Progenitor.

The problem lied with the Archon Batteries.

As he expected, the archon batteries could not keep up with the power hungry Terminator. The excessive use of the thrusters for high speed movement, the Flame Claw and supercharging the omni directional flamethrowers on top of powering the Terminator itself were simply too much for the archon batteries.

He would have loved to make a pitstop right about now, but situation was not on his side.

All he could do now was fight like hell.

As the bloody carnage spiralled out of control, Theo was snapped out of his blood craze by Pani's voice.

“Report: Evacuation successful. Detonation of nuclear arsenal will have zero collateral damage” said Pani

“Nice! Time to end this!” said Theo

As he was about to command his F22A to drop the nuke, he could hear Pani on the coms. It seems that she wanted to say something but was hesitating to do so.

“Pani? Anything else you like to add?” asked Theo

“Response: #58912213 anxiety has increased 158.11%. Reason: Nuclear arsenal might harm Theodore Lorne. Fearful for h-husbands life.” said Pani.

She was clearly struggling to put the 'husband' word in her sentences. It was quite cute.

“Allow me to ease your doubts Pani. Answer this question please. What do you think of your master Jabir ibn Hayyan?” asked Theo

“Firm response: The greatest alchemist ever. His words are 100% correct” replied Pani.

“I would like you to remember that, despite our difference in forte, Jabir and I share the same power. If you believe in Jabir’s superiority in classical alchemy, then believe in mine. Weapons of war is my forte. You seen and analyzed my creations yourself. You know what I’m capable off more than anyone.” said Theo while desperately trying to copy a ‘foolish idealist harem anime protagonist’

It made his stomach churn

Pani was silent for a couple of seconds before responding.

“Determined vow: If h-husband dies, #58912213 will self terminate ” said Pani

“Holy crap… then I’ll do my absolute best not to die then.” replied Theo. “Oh, before I go, tell Nosferatu to pick me up later. My Terminator is almost out of juice.”

“Response: Affirmative. Please return to me h-husband.”

With that said and done, Theo commanded the F22A to drop all of the bombs it had.

At the same time, the Terminator charged into the Mad Progenitor and stabbed it in one of its legs. He then used every ounce of power left in the archon batteries to hug the leg and keep the Kin Slayer stabbed into it.

The progenitor tried to pull the Terminator off its leg, but to no avail. The vice grip of the Flame Claw made sure of that.

The progenitor then resorted to bashing the Terminator with the steel beams. This also did nothing due to the Terminator’s heavy armor.

A few seconds later, Theo uttered a phrase to the progenitor.

“You are terminated.”

The next moment, the world turned to white.

Sound simply vanished from existence.

Theo’s consciousness faded to black.
