While Theo knew that Miss Samantha was a messed up individual in general, it was only recently the depths of her evil cunning.

Her deep unnervingly deep understanding of a person allowed her to manipulate people without them knowing it.

She was like a walkthrough for those hentai visual novels that were excessively popular in Zifang.

This was apparent during the past month.

During school time, Miss Samantha made Theo focus on one objective: Seduce Dorothy Boreal.

She prepared tons of scripts for every situation with the goal of slowly increasing Dorothy’s affection to Theo.

Most of them were simple everyday things such as senseless banter ranging from the anime to video games.

How Miss Samantha was familiar about the latest trends in Zifang Otaku culture was a mystery.

Not even Theo knew of who the voice actors of character X was, yet Miss Samantha’s script had full details of what to say when the subject arises.

The result of this one month stage play has slowly showed itself.

At the moment, Theo was alone at the isolated wooden shed in the HAA campus grounds.

He hasn’t been here as of late due to all the annoying events that plagued him the last few months.

His lunch consisted of 3 clubhouse sandwich and 2 bottles of chocolate milk.

Normally this amount was way too much for him to handle, but the excessive use of the energy guzzling Midas Alchemy in an attempt to repair the Terminator Armor as fast as possible has left him in a constant state of hunger.

For some reason, he had to eat the share of 5 people to get his stomach to stop complaining.

As to how much he needed to feel full, he had no idea.

While eating his calorie bars might alleviate this, he wasn’t sure what would happen if his body took in way too many calories in one go.

And besides, normal food tastes so much better.

He made quick work of his lunch and cursed the fact that wasn’t enough to alleviate his hunger.

As he was about to head back to the cafeteria for more food, a newcomer appeared.

Petite in size, messy hair and a general untidiness of an otaku that does little to damage her beauty.

It was Dorothy Boreal with a decently sized plastic bag filled with bread.

“Yo. I heard you were hungry. You don’t mind stale bread right? The lunch ladies gave it to me for free.” said Dorothy as she shoved the plastic bag to Theo.

“Oh! Nice one Dorothy! This is a godsend!” replied Theo as he began devouring the bread.

“Er… you know that those are a few days past their expiration date right?”

“That’s just a myth. Stale and expired bread are good to eat as long as you avoid the molds”

Dorothy sat down close to Theo and began eating her sandwich.

They would look like a lovey dovey couple if Dorothy leaned ever so slightly to the side.

This siting arrangement has been around for a week now.

Theo wasn’t sure where in Ms Samantha’s script made Dorothy into an awkward maiden in love, but the result was impressive indeed.

In 1 one short month, their relationship turned from ‘not-so-close friends’ to ‘girl with a one-sided love with a flirtatious guy’

Even now, Dorothy was throwing stealthy glances at Theo.

It was a weird state of affairs.

After making short work of the expired breads, Theo decided to follow the script to see where this was going.

“Thanks Dorothy. People can call you creepy loser girl all they like, but you’ll have a friend in me” said Theo as he placed his hand around Dorothy’s shoulder and gave her a manly hug

Theo treated Dorothy like one of the guys and, given her otaku tastes and preference for hardcore gay porn, she didn’t really mind it.

These were the main reasons why she was labeled as creepy.

However….

“S-shut up….” Replied Dorothy in an uncharacteristic girlishly shy manner

“As a reward, how about I take your virginity?”

Phoebe and Dorothy have been at the receiving end of Theo’s friendly sexual harassment for a while now.

Naturally, the expected reaction was to laugh it off with a bit of playful insults here and there.

However, it was clear that Dorothy no longer viewed his words as such.

“Y-you already have Juno…” said Dorothy

“Your boys love is to my harem. There’s no way you wouldn’t know the risks of sitting so close to me” replied Theo as he gently caressed Dorothy’s cheek

The red faced Dorothy stiffened as they stared into each other’s eyes

Theo slowly moved in for a kiss

Surprisingly enough, Dorothy didn’t try to back away.

This surprised Theo.

Based on the script, the kissing scene was still ways off.

As Theo debated whether to kiss Dorothy or not….

“Theo, stop teasing Dory” said the newly arrived Phoebe with a blushing Vivi right behind him

“KYYAAAA!” Dorothy backed away in a panic

“Tch… I would have made sweet love to Dorothy if it wasn’t for you meddling kids!” jokingly complained Theo.

“You cant do that Theo!” said Vivi like the spineless harem anime protagonist that he was.

“Oh shut up you hypocrite. I bet your pussy count is much higher than mine”

“ITS NOT!”

As per usual, the 4’s conversation descended into the usual nonsense.

The only thing off was Dorothy’s meekness and her desire to sit next to Theo.

A few minutes of senseless fun, Theo suddenly stood up and made a serious face.

“I have an announcement to make.” Said Theo in a serious manner.

Theo almost always had a happy go lucky façade around 3.

As such, the 3 were genuinely worried when he was serious.

“What’s sup?” asked Vivi

“I accepted a commission job overseas. I’ll be leaving in 3 days if the negotiation between the HAA and my employer goes well” said Theo, much to the 3’s surprise.

A ‘commission’ in HAA is a paid ‘on the job training’.

Since Theo was still technically a student and had ‘no idea of the value of money’, the HAA was to temporarily keep the money and return it to Theo via deduction to his tuition fee.

Quite an ingenious monetary scheme.

While commissions are available to all HAA students, the vast majority that get the jobs belonged to the non-combat divisions.

This was because the jobs often revolved around construction, medicine, historical analysis and so on and so forth.

Nearly all of the employers had their own military might, thus didn’t require a superhero

Among Theo’s friends, only Vivi genuinely understood what this meant.

“Congratulations Theo! How much pay did your employer offer?” asked Vivi

“It’s about 80 thousand Rooks per month. Not bad huh?” replied Theo with a smile

“Understatement of the year! You can literally payoff an entire school year with some leftovers! This is awesome!” said Vivi has he slapped Theo in the shoulders.

Among the 4 of them, only Vivi has past experience with commissions.

This was because Vivi was a holy mage AKA a Healbot

Vivi was also one of the very few HAA students that could live a life of lazy luxury immediately after he graduated.

This was unlikely because Vivi was a busybody by nature, but he had the choice to do so.

“So what’s the commission about? I’m assuming its construction, right?” asked Phoebe

“Yup. I’ll be traveling all over the world to transmute materials required to repair their stuff. This ranges from antique handcrafted pocket watches to fiber optic cables underneath the sea used for the internet. There’s quite a lot to do and they could add more depending on what happens. Naturally, they’ll give me additional pay when it comes to that” Said Theo.

“I see. It cant be helped. Your Midas Alchemy is much more flexible than my healing magic after all. How long does the job last?” asked Vivi

“I’ll be leaving in 3 days. The job is at least 4 months. If something happens, 6 months max.” Replied Theo

“Holy…. So we wont be seeing you until a few months into our second year? That’s kind of depressing” said Phoebe.

Vivi was equally downhearted at the news.

However, the most affected by this news was Dorothy.

She unconsciously dropped her food and drinks as she froze in place.

Tears began to form in her eyes.

Noticing this, Theo immediately made his move.

He knelt in front of her and caressed her cheek.

“What the hell is that reaction? Don’t tell me your already madly in love with me?” Theo said jokingly.

“B-but… You’ll be… *sob*” replied Dorothy as she desperately tried to keep the tears at bay.

“I suggest you worry about yourself. When I get back, I’ll forcefully make you experience the hardcore sex you like watching so much. I’ll turn you into my bitch and I wont take NO for an answer.”

Theo quickly dodged a punch thrown by the blushing Dorothy.

“YOU PERV!”

“Ha ha ha! Look who’s talking!”

The lively atmosphere returned as the 4 continued on with their lunch.

Later that day, Theo informed Juno and Nichola about his commission.

He also played Nichola in the same manner as he played with Dorothy with Juno ruthlessly poking fun at Nichola.

All in all, his dreams of a harem may not be as far off as he thought.
