3 Hour Later

HAA Hero Course Satellite Camp Infirmary

Theo was (forcefully) escorted by Juno to the Infirmary to get his broken right arm treated.

Naturally, Theo secretly used his omnigel after said treatment and pretended to be injured in order to avoid suspicion.

Thanks to that, he was benched for the remainder of the day.

This was actually a good thing.

This allowed him to move around the camp without restriction thus be able to pursue his goals.

There was one massive problem though and she was standing very close to him.

“Will you please move away Juno?” said Theo

“No.” replied the every smiling Juno as she forcefully snuggled on Theo’s ‘injured arm’

The one good thing about his association with Juno was that no one knew that they had anything to do with each other.

There was actually Lily Cafin that knew of this.

But for some reason, she was nowhere to be found.

Naturally, the HAA staff has been looking for her ever since they noticed she wasn’t showing up to class, but so far no good.

A lot of people believed that she finally pissed off someone who had no intention of letting her live.

Though no one would say it out loud, but a lot of people were glad she was gone.

Got a bit sidetracked there.

Anyways, about Juno.

Now that she was openly flirting with Theo, aka twisting his arm, it was to no one’s surprise that the camp was livid.

Juno’s status was more than just ‘one of the most beautiful girl on campus’.

The fact that she was a tabula rasa with the potential to be one of the most powerful beings in a superpower branch of her choosing made her extremely valuable to all branches of power.

In the ever subtle power struggle between superhero factions, her addition to their faction was a massive boon.

And now that she has revealed her allegiance to Theo, he was now a target for a lot of annoying ass kissing.

And this was on top of the weekly ‘Interested on joining the Hero Course yet?’ pestering he got from the HAA higher ups.

Juno has done a spectacular job of forcing a ridiculous amount of headaches on Theo.

For now, he could only sigh in defeat and push all that crap aside.

Theo and Juno walked side by side as they headed for one of the offices in the camp.

Juno took it upon herself to knock on the door.

“Come in. It’s not locked” said a voice that Theo instantly recognized as Miss Samantha’s

Juno opened the door for Theo.

She seemed to have taken a liking to role playing as Theo’s servant.

Inside the room was Miss Samantha and an unexpected person, Dorothy Boreal aka Vulture.

“Hey Dorothy. Alive and kicking I see” asked Theo.

“Very funny asshole.” Replied Dorothy as she tapped the cast around her leg.

Though they weren’t what you called close, Dorothy’s comradery with Phoebe allowed Theo to be in a place where they could joke around.

While Dorothy was all smiles, her face quickly changed into suspicion.

“Why is SHE here?” asked Dorothy in a rude manner as she stared at Juno

“Hmm? Do I know you?” Replied Juno with a confused look on her face.

“After all the crap you did to me you-?! GAAAAAAARRRGHH! You are SOOOO ANNOYING!”

If Juno was acting, Theo couldn’t tell at all.

“Is there something between you two?” Theo asked Juno

“She’s probably one of those insecure people who hates me because I’m so much beautiful than she is. Pathetic little creatures aren’t they?” calmly replied Juno.

“GAWDAYMIT! That attitude of yours is just so-!” roared Dorothy

“That’s enough slap stick comedy.” Said Miss Samantha in a serious voice. “Theo, please fix Dorothy’s leg.”

This surprised Dorothy a bit

“Ha ha ha. I appreciate the sentiments Miss Samantha, but this leg is busted for a month. And that’s with the best medical technology”

“Oh! So that’s your game plan huh? Fine. Let’s see how your script pans out” thought Theo as he nodded at Miss Samantha.

Upon seeing Theo’s confirmation, Miss Samantha begins using her bullshit

“Dorothy, what Theo is about to do to your leg must be kept secret. Just tell people I gave you an elixir. Okay?” said Miss Samantha.

“Huh? What are you-” said Dorothy before she screamed in agony as Theo injected the omnigel into her without warning.

A few seconds of high pitch wailing later, Dorothy lunged at Theo

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!” roared Dorothy.

Juno tripped Dorothy by hitting her in the casted leg with her umbrella.

“Calm down Dorothy. You can stand now, right?” said Theo while helping Dorothy up.

Dorothy tested her leg, and true enough, it was working without any problems.

Dorothy was both happy and confused as she looked at Theo and Miss Samantha for answers.

“That was Theo’s artificial Elixir. It’s far from perfect though as you probably know first hand.” Said Miss Samantha. “And I assume you understand why you need to keep this a secret right?”

As you’d expect of one of Crow’s protégé, Dorothy was quick on the uptake.

“I see…. So these special privileges you’ve been getting recently..” Said Dorothy.

“Bribes that I vehemently refused. They still keep pushing though.” replied Theo

“So that’s how it is.” Said Dorothy before throwing a rude glare at Juno. “And what about her?”

“I’m someone in the same position as he is. I’m sure even a plebian like you can understand, right?” replied Juno.

“You insufferable....! *sigh* Fine. I’ll keep it a secret.” Said Dorothy.

“Good. Now that we’re done with that, how about some cookies?” Said Miss Samantha.

For the next few hours, the 4 talked about random things until the school chime marked the end of the day.

Students had two options as to what to do next.

First, they could stay in the camp for the night.

Naturally, the camp will provide food and lodging for 1 night then transport them back to Vermilion City the next morning.

Most students who attend this camp choose this option.

It’s like a sleepover after all.

To the normal teenager, a sleepover was an adventure on its own.

The other option was to head back to Vermilion City at the end of the day.

Naturally, the HAA provided the transport via bus.

Theo and Juno chose the second option, but they were going with Miss Samantha.

Dorothy was also going home, but she went with the bus with what little friends she had.

The moment that they were sure that no one was in earshot…

“That was very cruel of you Miss Samantha. To think you’d sell out that innocent Dorothy to Theo as a sex slave was pure evil.” said Juno with an amused smile on her face.

“Of course I would. She’s the protégé of my most disappointing student.” Replied Miss Samantha.

“Most disappointing student? Really? I could have sworn Crow was excessively exceptional.” Asked Theo

“Indeed she is. That’s why she is also the most disappointing. She would have been perfect if she only had the stomach to actually kill people. My time wasted and my goal is as far as ever thanks to her stupid ideals. I have no reason to harbor loyalty towards her” said Miss Samantha.

“Do you hate her that much?” asked Theo

“Quite the opposite really. I have maintained a close friendship with Crow since I met her. But her spinelessness is a hindrance to my goal, so I have no choice but to work around such a roadblock.”

“And converting Dorothy to the dark side is the solution?”

“She’s small part of the plan. Right now, I’m placing my bet on you Theo. The more pawns you have with unquestioning loyalty, the better chance I have on reclaiming my place as the head of the Leggero Crime Family.”

“The only thing you did was plant the seed. Doesn’t that take a long time to grow?” asked Juno

“Sadly yes. We have no choice but to slowly build up trust while strangling Dorothy to do our bidding. But don’t worry, Theo’s random nonsense in the FNN incident was actually a blessing in disguise.”

“Huh? What are you talking about?” asked Theo

“Use her father to emotionally beat the crap out of her. Force her to break her moral code if she wants us to keep her father alive. Or something similar to that. Don’t worry, I’ll make the arrangements. By the end of this, you’ll get a Crow knock off as a pet. If we’re lucky, we’ll get you another pawn in the process.” Said Miss Samantha as she chuckled in amusement.

It was at this point where Theo began to wonder if associating with Miss Samantha might not be the wisest course of action.
