Hey everyone, did you miss me?

Sorry this isn't a chapter, but I haven't posted in such a long time that I wanted to let my loyal readers know that I haven't croaked yet and am still alive and kicking. I think I mentioned this in an earlier chapter's authors note, but I am in the midst of preparing to go to college in Japan, and just today I finally got the stuff I needed back from Japan to get my visa.

The whole process was incredibely stressful and made it difficult to concentrate on writing. I still have more stuff to do, like actually go to Japan, but the end is in sight. I do still plan to finish the first book of my outlined three book series, so you aren't rid of me yet.

I can't promise another chapter in the immediate immediate future, but I should be able to put one out in a month or two at the latest once I get settled into life in Japan. I have also been working on a story that I think I want to try writing after I get the last few chapters of the first book of this story out, so if you think you might like other stuff I write you can look forward to that.

If you really can't bear to not read the ending for this story, in the distant future I do want to finish the three books I have outlined, with the eventual goal of a polished project for publication (I will post the story here first, even if I have to take it down later). So if you keep this story on your reading list or favorites I will post an announcement here in the future that you can check when I continue with this project.
