Chapter:Teleport Scroll
Rugrat woke up before midday, he felt the flow of power through his body as he had broken through into the sixteenth level.
He opened his hand, a scroll appeared in it, this was the teleportation scroll.
There was a metal clasp on it, gold lines and deep blue jade shimmered in the light.
Opening the scroll fully revealed a highly complex magical circle.
==========
Teleportation scroll (location locked)
==========
Using this scroll one will be teleported to the locked location, the teleportation circle will have a radius of one hundred meters
==========
Location: Beast Mountain Dungeon
==========
Do you wish to activate?
Yes/No
==========
Rugrat closed the scroll once again, a thoughtful look appeared on his face. He checked his sound transmission device seeing that there was a message waiting for him.
“Hey Rugrat, you got that teleport scroll thing and did you get a new title called Dungeon Master? It seems that it might be linked to this quest we completed. Is the Beast Trial actually a Dungeon? Send me a message when you wake up anyway.”
Rugrat called Erik.
“What’s up? I’m near the south gate checking out the wall, haven’t seen anything since yesterday, everyone is down to twenty five percent, everyone needs some sleep. It looks like there are going to be a lot of level increases,” Erik said.
“Did you see the thing about Dungeon master?” Rugrat asked.
“Seems like you did, too, I think that this trial was to become Dungeon masters or whatever the hell that means. The teleport scroll, where is locked to?”
“Beast Mountain Dungeon,” Rugrat said, confirming everything that Erik had just said.
“Looks like our time here has come to an end,” Erik’s voice sounded carefree but Rugrat could see through it after it all, coming to Alva Village they had found somewhere that they felt comfortable, it wasn’t Earth or back home, but it was somewhere they could be themselves and not have to worry.
“Well, the teleport scroll has a radius of one hundred meters,” Rugrat said. “Right now the people of Alva village don’t have a connection to anyone else, they were abandoned by Lord Salyn, what if we were to offer to bring them back to Beast Mountain? From there they could go where they wanted with resources if they needed.”
“Alright, but I also want to learn more about this whole Dungeon Master thing, does it mean we control the Dungeon, own it?”
“Well, I talked to Elise and some of the people in the village village that might have known, none of them seemed to, maybe we’ll find out something when we get there?”
“More teleporting, alright we’ll ask them if they want to come.”

Roska wiped the sweat off of her brow as she looked at the next pile of goods that her helpers were picking through and storing in different storage rings, the most valuable items were shifted into storage rings. Anything that was less valuable would be removed and placed into the storage huts.
The heavy infantry sections watched the walls while the rest of the village were dealing with the aftermath.
Last night they had ceremonies for those that had fallen, with the dying sunlight, collecting their tombstones and laying them to rest in the ground, after a few weeks there wouldn’t even be bones left behind.
Roska hadn’t felt much about being someone from Alva Village before, she just thought of it as the place that her family had abandoned her.
Now, with the way people treated her, the warmth she found with everyone, she felt defensive of them, as if she wanted to protect them, too.

All of them had gone through great changes, Roska was no different, she was now level thirteen, reaching for level fourteen, being only in her mid twenties she was seen as a genius in the first realm.
She looked over at the commotion at the gate, people were crowding around as Rugrat and a number of the archers entered the village.
Everyone was interested in the situation going on in the surrounding forest, but immediately Roska saw that Rugrat and the other archers had a bunch of small beasts tied up with rope that they were pulling along.
These little cubs mewled and snarled at the humans, but their actions were lacking the ferociousness of their parents that had attacked the city, they looked adorable and even Roska had a hard time associating them with their parents.
Each of them had jet black fur and yellow eyes.
Rugrat and the others continued into the city.
“Why did they bring back so many panther cubs?” One of the helpers asked Roska.
Roska shook her head, she didn’t know herself.
“I heard that there are people that can rear animals and tame them to do their bidding, even contracts that beasts can make with humans, allowing them to work together,” the other helper said.
Roska and the other man looked at him.
He scratched his head, a bit embarrassed.
“When I was a boy I raised some farm animals, my parents told me such things, they came from one of the big cities with Captain Blaze,” he said.
Roska and the other man nodded, coming from a city, people would be exposed to more information.
“Do you think that Mister Erik and Rugrat will leave Alva Village?” The man that had talked on beast taming asked Roska.
The other looked over in interest.
“I do not know,” Roska said, she wouldn’t admit it but her heart tightened hearing these words, Erik had given her back her life and he’d helped to teach her, Rugrat had spent time to teach her how to better direct her spells and think of new ways to utilize them.
Everything she had now, she owed to them.
Her debt to them was too great, she wanted to follow them, Alva Village had protected her from the beasts beyond the walls when she had been hurt, now that she was recovered, she wanted to see beyond the walls and into the world.
Her eyes shone as the corner of her mouth twitched slightly, her heart captured by that wanderlust.
“Maybe we’ll find out tonight at the meeting, they want everyone to attend,” the other man said as they returned to work.

Glosil looked at Jasper and Elise that were nearby, sharing a look of common knowledge.
They were nervous for Rugrat and Erik as well as what they might say.
Erik had reached level fifteen, while Rugrat had reached level sixteen but was close to level seventeen.
Without any conscious thought their auras seemed to disappear, no longer war gods, but two ordinary guys. None of the Alva village people would look at them the same, the power that they had displayed, putting their lives on the line. If they said that they were the second strongest, no one would say they were the first.
Blaze cleared his voice, he was on top of the stage, Erik and Rugrat were behind him, their faces didn’t show any emotion, to Glosil it was like they were two men standing up for their execution, ready for it to go wrong at a moment’s notice.

Everyone settled down and looked to him.
“Together we have made it past the beast horde, we have survived and came out stronger than ever before. We have made sacrifices, we have lost loved ones. Though we are here today due to those sacrifices that must not and will not be forgotten,” Blaze received a round of nods as he looked to Rugrat and Erik.
“Rugrat and Erik came to us in a time of need, they came, using their own resources and knowledge to assist us. They did this because they felt it was the right thing to do. They were not under orders to come here. Infact, Lord Salyn told me to keep the truth from you all, that he would send aid. Before the battle to protect our village started I was notified that he had broken his oath to this village, to you. I pledge to uphold his rule and follow his laws and he would offer aid in times of need. He tore this oath apart and stepped on our faces!” Blaze yelled.
People grew angry and started to mutter amongst one another.
“Rugrat and Erik were sent here, they only needed to survive the beast horde, they didn’t need to protect us, to help us build up our strength, or improve our village. I decided that we should hold back the information right before the battle, not wanting to distract people and lead to greater losses,” he let the quiet conversations go on for sometime.
“Elise, Glosil, Jasper, Taran and myself have decided to follow them no matter what,” Blaze said.
Erik stepped up and put his hand on Blaze’s shoulder.
Glosil was reminded of the first time that Erik had addressed the people of Alva Village, the village couldn’t be compared to what it was back then.
Glosil, like the rest of the villagers watched Erik’s every movement, waiting for him to speak.
“According to our quest the beast horde will not come back again, we have also been given a teleportation scroll and been made dungeon masters. I don’t know what that means, nor where it will lead, but if any of you want to, you’re welcome to join us in heading to the Beast Mountain Dungeon.”
“You command I will follow,” Storbon said, pulling out his spear and stepping forward, he slammed it into the ground steely determination in his eyes.
Others stepped forward.
Glosil looked to his fellow villagers, they’d been abandoned, everyone else had left them but Erik and Rugrat had stayed with them through it all.
Glosil looked at them, their spears, swords, crossbows and armor.
A crooked grin appeared on his face as they all looked at Rugrat and Erik.
Rugrat’s stolid expression broke as he let out a laugh.
Erik’s face also broke into a touched smile.
“Alright, well I guess we better start paying your wages!” Erik clapped his hands. This got a few grins and laughs. “Eighty percent of the materials and loot that we got from the beast in the beast horde will be broken down and passed out to everyone. You can exchange with one another and the quartermasters once we’ve moved to the Dungeon. We will be moving everything useful to the storage district tonight and tomorrow. Tomorrow night we will be activate the teleportation scroll. For tonight we’re not on rations, eat, drink! Quick Reaction force you’re on watch!”
People cheered, excited to leave behind Alva Village.
“There ain’t no rest for the wicked,” Erik said as he stepped off of the stage and addressed the department heads.
“Can’t I just hit metal?” Taran complained.
“We’ve got to plan out how to move everything that’s important. Break down the smithy, bring the components we need, We’ve only got a teleportation area one hundred meters by one hundred meters. We can’t waste any space!”
So they set to work, planning out what they could take, Rugrat and Erik went with Jasper, marking out the one hundred meter readius teleportation circle.
That night people celebrated, but knowing that they would be put to work the next day, they didn’t go overboard.
Everyone was given tasks, Alva Village was torn apart and broken down. In the afternoon they all went to the village headquarters, Blaze called up the village cornerstone. This was the core of the village and the basis of the village.
Blaze had planted this cornerstone when he had built the initial camp nearly twenty years ago.
A screen appeared in front of him, he hit a few commands and the cornerstone transformed into a token, landing in his hand.
He put it away as a notification ran out.
==========
The cornerstone of Alva Village has been removed, the village will cease to exist.
==========
Blaze lost his title as the village became ‘abandoned’ meaning that anyone could now take it over with their own base token or they could move into it and build on top of it without Blaze’s agreement.
They spent the rest of the day, piling all of their supplies up, disbursing and distributing items to the different people and families, this made them responsible for their new goods, many of them traded in their monster cores and other items at the store earlier to take more with them.
***
“It’s time,” Rugrat said, looking out at everyone that was all bundled up. The heavy infantry Units were around the edges of where they had marked out the teleportation scroll’s limits. Archers were behind them, with the old and young in the center, protected by the Quick reaction force.
They simply didn’t know what was waiting for them on the other side.
“Ready yourselves!” Erik barked.
Everyone gripped their weapons tighter, ready to fight.
Rugrat opened the scroll.
==========
Teleportation scroll (location locked)
==========
Using this scroll one will be teleported to the locked location, the teleportation circle will have a radius of one hundred meters
==========
Location: Beast Mountain Dungeon
==========
Do you wish to activate?
Yes/No
==========
“Yes,” With Rugrat’s words, mana rushed in towards the scroll as a massive magical circle appeared underneath the feet of the villages.
Lines, circles, triangles and other shapes formed with complicated runes seemed to be written in the ground by an unseen pen. The children made surprised noises as they looked at the ground in shock.
The scroll floated away from Rugrat, raising up above him, it seemed to burn, condensing inward the paper burned as runes on the paper burned in concert with them forming on the ground.
The last rune was completed as the paper turned into a crystal.
There was a flash of light as the group disappeared.
A circle two hundred meters wide which had been filled with people and supplies was turned into barren dirt, no sign of the nearly two hundred people that had been there just moments before.
Silence fell over Alva village, wind whistling through the abandoned homes, the broken defenses and craters.

Son of Thunder
Right, I really suck at this synopsis crap. The story follows Taran as he grabs fate by the short hairs and makes his own destiny. Seizing a power that is not his by birth, he uses it to protect those he cares about. There will be magic, monsters and most likely some sex. (This is my first story here, give me some tips and pointers. My grammar may also not be up to snuff. As for a release schedule, nothing set in stone. Though I will try once ever week or two. Length of the chapters will vary. Mature 18+ Sex, violence, gore, strong language)(Holy shit, the old synopsis had some glaring errors.)

The World Below
A place of myth and mystery, the Below is spoken of by few with any real consideration, and fewer with any true belief. After all, a realm filled with magic and monstrosities beyond imagining would be ridiculous, especially existing beneath one's very feet. Someone would have found it by now, through science, even if rumor dictated that it was able to "choose" who entered it. More wishful magic nonsense. ...Right? Note: This is a story on dungeon exploration, not a dungeon core/sentient dungeon!
