《Spectral Regalia》Chapter 185 Settling Matters.

“Dost thou not mean to ask what intention I bare against this wretched world?” Premera stretched out her left hand to the side. “I wish for the ‘end.’” She declared as she clenched her hand, and at the same time, the surrounding grass suddenly wilted and withered away as though their life was corrupted and taken by the presence of a demon.
“Child of cursed blood, it is time for both you and your covenant to choose which path to follow……” A blue eye glimmering in an amber tint appeared from beneath the hood as she stared intently at the taller woman.
“.....The body next to you is a fellow witch enslaved by one of our enemies. I destroyed the collar and will entrust her to you since we will inevitably meet again.” With that said, Premera then waved her hand.
A female understands this as her cue to leave, but when she looked to her side, she was still surprised to see the body of a young girl with flowing black hair reminiscent of the night. Despite her dishevelled appearance with torn up clothes and pale complexion, nearly flawless skin and powerful impression remained.
“-I guess the legends were true after all.-” The hooded female thought in amazement as she quickly picked up and observed the fallen girl. She ensured that the young girl was only unconscious with no significant injuries. Afterwards, she cast the [Featherweight] and [Restraint] spells to decrease the girl’s weight and ensure no surprises. She then started to leave the way she came quickly.
“My master and I shall await your answer.” Hearing Premera’s words, the hooded female froze in place with shock. “-For her to now have a master… what on Tya’shara…?-”
Before she could think more on the issue or turn around, a piece of paper with neatly written words floated down the air in front of her. The paper was so high quality that she could hardly believe it herself, but as she stretched her hand and grabbed her paper to read the article, she started to shiver in with great fear. Suspicions of this so-called master’s identity only made her more afraid to learn the truth.
Instead of turning around, the hooded female only hurried her steps as she carried the unconscious girl in her arms. In the meanwhile, Premera said no more and sat back down in silence, before a short laugh escaped her lips soon a few seconds afterwards.
“Hahaha, I too wonder how this fares against my new Master.”

Within the confines of the chamber, several figures were twitching on the ground, these were the so-called spectral champions, while within the centre of this sorry group Avrin stood calmly, he's Left-hand twitching and bulging before reverting to what someone would consider normal.
“None of you amount to much in your current states, fodder for people who would aim their weapons towards yet us you want to brag about pureblood this and elite that. For the future, I see you're only suitable to be an elite guard of a storefront!”
Avrins words seem to cut deep as the spectrals struggled to get up with bitter looks on their faces all the anger they had coupled with bitterness could be seen on their expressions with no intention to hide it yet they didn't dare speak or refute him because this individuals strength was all but clear and considering how they weren't complete fools after seeing how Kael didn't interfere proved that this was someone with some standing.

“Who the hell are you…” Marlin managed to utter with some difficulty as his body was still healing, sweat could be seen on his face more so as Avrin turned to gaze at him. Avrin didn't care at this point whether they knew who he was or not it made no difference if he was to push a reason, the sooner they knew in fact, the better.
“Was my voice forgotten so soon?” Avrin spoke referring to the time he had called for everyone to accept the conversion during the issue with Orphelium. “I gave all of you what you have, now I may not be your maker, but you know me as your saviour.”
It had finally dawned on them all that the man standing in front of them that had beaten them black and blue and even seemed to have enjoyed it was their races progenitor.
“My lord….” Leo’s who came to and had managed to catch Marlins question, and Avrin's answer knew it was no coincidence in the end. Maybe this was why he had not been able to detect who Avrin was or why he felt nothing from him at least from Kael he could feel an overwhelming strength that left him fear but for Avrin it was as if he didn't exist, if such a person wanted to kill him, in the end, Leos wouldn't know how or when he died.
“Mm,” Avrin quietly grunted while he waited for the other two spectrals to awaken as well. After all, champions had come to and healed somewhat, Kael had begun to explain to them all just who Avrin was. He was the one that had started everything the individual who had given them a new path in life with no fences to lock them down.
Their eyes focused on avrin with awe and reverence as if he were a god it left avrin uncomfortable, his eyebrows twitching up and down somewhat. “Enough…” he interrupted Kael's boasting of him, Kael immediately quieted down.
“I don't need champions I need volunteers who are capable of protecting and doing some dirty work while I handle other vital matters, I won't beat around the bush, all of you are going to do the chores I find too bothersome guarding the main base on the other side.
What I can give you in return is assisting you with improving your abilities and selfs in the end and allow you're standing to strengthen in this society you are elites but only for these spectrals imagine a flourishing empire with billions of us and you are holding an excellent position within it.”
Avrin wasn't dumb he knew by the way they had spoken to him before that they liked the taste of power as long as they did what he wanted and did it well he wouldn't mind conferring a little title or two for these so-called children of his. To him, they were playing in the dirt and bragging about who had the bigger mud pile, but avrin had bigger plans he didn't want to babysit forever he needed them to grow up as soon as possible and start bragging about who had the better galaxy.

No one noticed the glint of anticipation in his eyes in a sense it was a parent waiting for their children to grow so he could kick them out of the house.
"-It doesn't matter who the person is everyone has their set interests and goals loyalty for these people is directed towards me because of these circumstances-"
Avrin was clear-minded as he began to explain the small objective he had planned for these so-called champions after finishing, their faces were filled with mixed emotions.
"Lord progenitor....so we will simply be acting as guards in this strange land?..." The beautiful Helena uttered with some caution in the way she spoke to avrin.
"If you find it too troublesome I can always take the runner-up?" Avrin's answer was straightforward, doubt and unwillingness at this stage was not something he needed.
"of course not! I'm willing" surprise and fear filled her tone afraid Avrin would change his mind and not take her.
"Good, I will give you all a day to prepare, go pack your things and say your goodbyes you will be gone for quite a while" He had plans for progression of Shaded Moon this group may be the first but not the last batch he brought with him.
"Are we allowed to speak of our task with those close to us?" it was Marlin who spoke out this time. "It shouldn't be an issue the more people that know of the potential rewards, the better I suppose" Avrin spoke bluntly it wasn't as if anyone on this planet could do anything to harm him.
After speaking and settling matters, the champions left the chamber leaving only Kael and avrin to remain behind.
"Master, will you be staying here for the day?" Kael looked eagerly at Avrin despite having immense stamina the mental exhaustion wasn't easily fought back, all the purebloods had their tasks, and when you had to manage such a massive population of a new race, one couldn't imagine the planning that needed to go into such a matter, he wanted to tell Avrin he hadn't trained for a week because of his schedule.
"There's no rush, things on the other side are settled for now I think il take a stroll around to check what you and the others have built up personally, or doubt might appear in your hearts" he carefully eyed Kael who quickly looked downwards not daring to glance back at his mentor.
If the champions had seen Kael like this, the reverence they had for Avrin would have grown even more immense, anyone who could speak to one of the rulers and cause him nervousness was a terrifying individual.
"Don't look so troubled, in truth its my fault to have neglected my people for so long once things are settled, and we have a footing in the grand scheme you and Erebus will have more time to relax" He, of course, didn't tell Kael that he was inexperienced in regards to the whole empire leading, it would only worsen things possibly.
"Master I have a few recommendations Eitri has progressed quite a bit in creating equipment his skills have improved since last you saw him." Avrin listened and thought that all the spectrals seemed to be adapting quite well, it was good to hear that no trouble had occurred regarding purebloods and non-pure blood's.
"I wanted to see Shandian first, has anything odd happened since I was gone?" while he spoke to Kael, his Divine-Sense swept over the area and found Shandian within an isolated building that was protected by some guards, no doubt this was constructed for it to rest. Avrin could see a figure the outline of a figure forming inside of the cocoon which glistened like a gem. The liquid inside was similar to a caterpillar turning into a butterfly creation was a melting pot of weird things at least to Avrin.
"Other then an increase of its energy there have been no changes. Master where did you find it? the energy it has gives me the chills..."
Kael remembered that four weeks ago when he went to check on the cocoon, it pulsed with energy that shook him to the core, he had a feeling that when the creature emerged then, only Avrin could contend with it.
"A stray that I've taken in be sure to look after it." Kael nodded in response to Avrins words. He had plenty of questions, Avrin was patient and answered as many as he could even forming a chair from dark matter particles to make the situation more comfortable.
"Master on the other side how are things? I'm sure you encountered some trouble correct?" Kael was quite relaxed right now he had always been curious about the other world and those who lived on it.
"Everything has been taken care of, don't think we are currently invincible right now my strength is continuously growing but a mistake to make is to think you are unmatched, strive forward and continue to seek strength only when you have a great amount of it and support from those around you will you be safe. give the spectral empire a few thousand or so years at most and at this rate within these five universes I'm certain the powerhouses out there will think twice before seeking conflict."
Avrins eyes had been opened during his last fight. In the end, unless he was a primordial entity or cosmic entity then there was no safety, the unknowns and variables out there were too many what was to say that a being wouldn't suddenly appear and kill him.
