It's been too long since I was posting chapters on RoyalRoad. So much has happened since. I'm publishing my 7th book, book 4 in the Underworld series, on February 3rd. I've wanted to find a way to come back to RoyalRoad for a while now, but since my livelihood depends upon writing, it’s been difficult to justify spending time on something that won’t put bacon on the table. There is something I can do, though.
The Underworld Trilogy for Free!
To celebrate Underworld book 4, and to show you guys how thankful I am for all the community has provided me, I’m putting the entire Underworld trilogy, books 1-3, up for Free this Sunday, February 2nd. That's 298,000 words for your reading enjoyment. I believe the sale only runs in the US and UK, sorry. Besides a few giveaways, it's the first time any of the books in this series has been given away publically for free. I really appreciate all the support and feedback you guys provided in helping me get my writing career off the ground.

This a dark fantasy, but it also has sprinklings of humor throughout. It is a multi-cast, multi-pov story. In many ways, it is a melding of one of my favorite novels, “The Stand”, with my favourite genre, LitRPG. I don’t espouse to be anywhere near Stephen King, but I would like to think that I have succeeded in many areas here (you’ll be the judge of that). So, this thriller-style story has a lot of build-up and lots of drama. When it hits the 100-page mark, it starts to take off with some intense action and fight scenes (although there are battles long before that). Nothing comes easy for this group of rescuers. And the dangers are very real. This saga is already over 100 chapters with more to come. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to your reviews, comments, and feedback. Thanks.
