Chapter 39
Looking around where I stood I saw that I was inside a dark chamber. Beneath me was an enormous magical circle, with scribbling and strange writing, a reversed pentagonal star and in the middle was I.
The girl in front of me who I just recognized the presence of instantly knelt down.
“My lord! Sorry to have ever bothered one such as thee! Forgive this one’s transgression but spare us please. We made a mistake in summoning one such as yourself!”
The fuck?
I didn’t speak at first and looked around where I was. Hundreds of other people were here, all cloaked and barely moving due to visible signs of fatigue and tiredness. Some were even unconscious with foam on their mouths.
“What is the meaning of this?” I said
“Please our lord! Let me explain”
She must be mistaking me with something…
“Hurry up and explain then, I feel a bit parched.”
I could really use a sip of water actually. Huh? I feel parched? I even feel hungry! I placed my hand on my chest, and there it was! A pulse! I am fucking back!!!
“Something went wrong in our summoning session, we wanted to summon one of hell’s demons to help us against the incoming heroes, yet somehow you appeared, we dared not try to disturb you so please forgive us. If not spare my comrades, they were just following orders!”
I think that there is something wrong here…she is clearly out leveling me, she is level 650 and she has a lot of allies, while I am alone…hang on? I remember I leveled up earlier

One of the men came, and with him he brought a jug filled with water.
“Please our lord. Forgive our transgression. Here is what you asked for”
I took the jug and began drinking, my throat was as dry as sand, a year in hell can do that to a person. And the moment the first drops of water poured down, my body cooled down, I felt more refreshed than ever, enough that I finished the jug and poured whatever was left on my face.
“Would your lordship want a bath?” said the demon king.
“I could honestly use one.”
I then began to walk outside the circle, I was met with some sort of resistance at first when I reached the borders of it, but with enough strength the resistance was broken, it felt like invisible glass.
Though I towered a bit over the girl I still walked next to her, people or demonkin moved past us, they had a look of fright, towards me and one of reverence towards the girl. No toward the demon king!
This is the demon king that everyone have been afraid of? A girl? Quite ironic isn’t it? The thing that the kingdom of those stupid people fear is a little girl. Hah!
We left the chamber where the ritual was being conducted, and entered another room after passing through a corridor filled with statues of knights and mages, the place is well decorated, and gives ambiance and a welcoming feeling to it.
Once outside the corridor and few steps up, the Demon king near me then spoke.
“What is your name, your lordship? And how come you were summoned instead of what we wanted to bring?”
He words were mixed in with a bit of fear, yet resolve and resolution were showing in her eye, she wanted to know, but was ready to take the risk
“I am one of the summoned heroes.”
I said the words and the girl froze in place.
“To jest with words like these is not amusing, your lordship.”
“I am not joking not, this is the truth”

The girl then said
“Then how is it possible?! If one such as yourself is a summoned hero, then how strong are the rest of them? How is it fair to be one with such power? How is it possible for us to defend ourselves against you?!” the girl then began to cry…it seems that the heroes had caused her great strife…
“Though I am one of the summoned, I share not their beliefs, I never did. They are a bunch of children that are fighting over nothing, striving to gain power without objective. Quite stupid if I may say, but still, I need something to be confirmed.” I said
“What is it, your lordship?”
“Stop calling me that. My name is Daiki, Daiki Genkaku, and what I needed to confirm is the existence of the magic to teleport people to my world, I need that magic.”
“To what end?” she said
“Good, this confirms its existence. Your kind is discriminated against is it not?” I said while turning to face the girl directly.
She didn’t speak but her eyes spoke tomes
“The reason why, is because ‘they’ believe that just because ‘you’ are demons, or demon-kin, you are evil and malevolent, thus labeling their deeds and coating them with the veil of virtue, believing themselves to be right, and you, just of your race, thought to be evil.”
“How would you know such things? If you are of the summoned heroes, this should not be known knowledge.”
“I don’t need to know, it’s just common sense. Still I share not their thoughts and beliefs, so don’t worry about it, in matter of fact, I could use that spell of yours to force them to change targets. If they know I have the spell then they will ignore you completely and come after me.”
“Wouldn’t that put you in danger?”
“It might, and it might not, but still it’s better than you holding on to it. It will only cause you trouble.”
“Let me speak to the elders about this, you will be needing to present yourself to them, here are the shower chambers, servants will be sent to you to take care of your needs.”
I entered the washing chamber, and began removing my ragged clothes.
Touching my chest once again to verify the flow of blood, I sighed in relief. I died, and was brought back again. This time the curse was lifted, and I don’t know what will happen if I die…
Looking around the chamber I saw that it was made from marble and stone, a hot pool of water was dispensing it to the lower echelons, where it would be mixed and the water will become warmer. Quite a nifty mechanism, steam filled the air.
I went to the hottest level and rested within, dust and scum slowly dissipating and melting away, leaving but the pinkish flesh, my hair began to unwrap and smooth out, and my nails became cleaner. After some scrubbing and verifying the functionality of a most important member…I went out.
There was a mirror near the exit, and looking at it I was surprised to see the change, where I was a scrawny guy, I became much more buffed, not like a body builder, but just about right, the perfect placement of muscles over the body. Shoulders chest thighs and even a perfect six pack, then my eyes, where I remembered I had a brown color, it now became green, an eerie green that actually would look to be alive if I stared long at it.
Then it hit me!
I was showering without the veil! And nothing happened, the souls did not try to leave nor had I receive a soul overload message? Do I not need it anymore?
I went towards the veil and grabbed it, I inspected it and it showed nothing new. It was still the same…it is probably the new ability, the All-encompassing body… it seems that it is able to handle the souls without an overflow.
The door then opened, and a blond demoness wearing maid armor entered, I only had my veil in my hand and it was quite fare from my nether regions, the girl looked at me…intensely, probably not sure to what was happening at first, then after few moments of staring, her face turned bright red, and she screamed leaving the room…
If you are going to be doing that, why the hell did you open the bath’s door in the first place?
