I've slowly started to write book 4. There are two major problems so far:

1) I am working out against depression (most of the clinical symptoms being there - and my usual MD decided of course to retire during the later bits of shutdown in France). Writing is one of the handful of things that make me slightly interested, but that usually lasts less than an hour at a time.

2) The book itself is a bit more complicated than the previous ones - starting World War Zero does that to your plot.

I will not start publishing anything until I have enough written scenes to establish the general chronology of the book 4. This one is going to be more of an ensemble book, and structured slightly different from the previous book - rather than having separate interludes, most chapters may have a page or two dealing with affairs outside of our main characters, then focus back to the six of the Adapted team.
