Chapter 64: Acknowledgement

Minutes slowly crawled their way as he blankly stared at the ceiling above him, unable to move or let out a sound in fear of what might happen if he did.

There was no way to escape the current situation and no matter how hard he wracked his brain, he just couldn't remember what happened after entering the room.

Why did they have to include this feature but not the headache in the morning!?

Despite the dangerous situation he was in, Makoto couldn't help but once again turn to his left and stare at the forbidden fruit that was Lilliana's body.

Just seeing her cute face snuggled up against him in her sleep was enough to warm his heart and also excite him as there was lots to explore with his eyes alone.

Unlike Sharon's fire red, Lilliana had the same black colored hair at her lower region and once his gaze was locked it was quite difficult to move it away.

It was easy to compare both women but they still had a fundamental difference in structure, firmness and volume at each body part.

Lilliana possessed an explosive chest and wide hip while Sharon had a more slender body but firm thighs that were currently clamped around his own legs.

Feeling both warm and soft pressed against him from two sides was enough to drown out any and all productive thoughts as desire ruled everything inside of him.

Only the terrible situation that would without a doubt unfold was able to let Makoto keep his cool in a situation where he was sandwiched between two beautiful naked women.

Couldn't he just pretend to sleep when they woke up and play innocent?

This could be counted as quite the cowardly thought but just remembering Sharon's 'Death Stare' was enough to make him shiver.

Naturally he quickly threw away this kind of attitude as it would solve nothing and only prolong the inevitable.

Gulping once his mind was set to properly see this through no matter what, that much he owed them both.

Once again his head turned and he feasted his eyes on Lilliana, his hand instinctively tensing between her mounds and the sensation alone was enough to allow a dirty smile to appear on his lips, despite the situation.

Somewhat guiltily he turned his head right and watched his angel drool on the pillow beside him while feeling the hot inside of her legs pressed against his thigh.

There was a visible tent sticking out of the duvet and he couldn't really help it despite his efforts to not look at both girls.

One might say he was enjoying his last meal before being hanged and who could really blame him?

Once again staring towards the ceiling above him for the 10th time he noticed a sudden movement to his right and the tent disappeared in a flash as he steeled his heart with a grim expression.

Turning towards Sharon he could see her eyes that met his own as she seemed to observe him.

After a few seconds her gaze shifted, as she somewhat got up, and fell on the naked Lilliana that was also sleeping in the bed with her.

Sharon's expression froze for a moment before she silently looked at Makoto.

He also kept quiet, unable to speak as any and all resistance crumbled away beneath her glare.

She stared at him observant for a few seconds before sighing deeply.

Surprisingly enough she got up and put her clothes and armor on manually while once again casting a glance towards Makoto.

"Stop giving me those Puppy eyes, wake up Lilly and put some clothes on."

Her tone and expression was without any anger or confusion and he couldn't help but stare at his girlfriend with an open mouth.

In a timespan of only 2 minutes she finished dressing herself and left the room, seemingly unaware of the bombshell that this situation really was.

Only after a few seconds did he close his agape mouth and turned to Lilliana who was still taking claim of his left arm while showing a content expression.

His own feelings could only be described as complicated and confused as he tried to comprehend what really just happened.

Once again the question as to what really transpired last night haunted his thoughts as he somewhat reluctantly shook awake the sleeping maiden beside him.

While lifting her glass, her gaze once again fell on Lilliana who was currently talking with Sanja and Sharon couldn't help but sigh inwardly while gulping down the strong liquor.

Makoto had disappeared with some of the soldiers and it seemed like the perfect time to talk with her but her own unease made that impossible.

Just how would she ever have a real talk if she herself was shying away from it in fear of what she might discover?

Didn't she already make up her mind beforehand?

The question as to why she was hesitating now of all times was more than a little justified.

Clenching her hands into fists she stared at the discolored liquid in her glass with droopy eyes as the memory of Lilliana kissing Makoto once again flashed before her eyes.

Gulping down the rest of the disgusting, broth like alcohol to hopefully gain some more courage she pushed her chair back and stood up with somewhat shaky legs.

Once again she was hesitant to walk up to Lilliana and Sanja's table but after biting the inside of her cheek she finally had the 'balls' to do what should have been done a long time ago.

"Can we talk for a minute?"

This one question was enough to let the smile freeze on Lilliana's face as she looked up to Sharon.

Just seeing her face pale in seconds was enough of a hint that the other was guilty of something quite devastating.

"S-Sure."

Sharon threw a few glances towards the smaller girl as she lead her into a quieter part of the Barracks which turned out to be the individual sleeping quarters of the partying Soldiers.

Stopping at a distant corner she fully turned around and was somewhat satisfied about the terrified expression that was now visible on Lilliana's face.

"I know that you kissed Makoto behind my back."

This one sentence out of her mouth and the serious expression she was showing was enough to visibly shake the other before her to the point where she was unable to meet her eyes anymore.

"Listen, I am sorry for that really, I promise it won't happen again I was ju-"

"I didn't ask for an apology did I?"

Somewhat stunned by these calm words, Lilliana finally looked up again and met her eyes.

"The only thing I want to know is, why did you do it?"

In Sharon's heart there was neither anger nor hate for the other girl as she asked this question, only anticipation and fear as to what might come.

Clearly struggling for words, the girl finally calmed down after a few moments and answered with a calm and firm voice.

"I had two reasons.

One was because I love him and wanted to at least experience this with him, which I did so now I am satisfied.

The other reason was... I wanted to show him that there was always someone there for him no matter how bad things might seem... I know it sounds selfish and I agree that my actions..."

Clearly feeling guilty about what happened, Lilliana went silent, no longer trying to defend what happened.

It took a lot out of Sharon to keep her calm expression as she heard exactly what she feared the most.

Silence filled the otherwise empty hallway that they were in and once again she looked at the little Summoner before her that had an incredibly unhappy expression on her face.

It was clear that she felt something for Makoto for quite some time now and had suppressed this love at the same time because she was aware that it was pointless to keep chasing it.

At the same time it was difficult to just stop loving someone as the feeling itself was a highly unpredictable but strong emotion.

Maybe after a month more it would slowly disappear and be replaced by only a painful memory, one of many that every human carries around.

The jealous and possessive side of Sharon was telling her to wait for those feelings to disappear even if it made the other unhappy.

If it was only Lilliana that felt that way then she would have firmly kept to it but sadly that was not the case.

She had noticed it the moment she first saw the interaction between them.

It was obvious that Makoto's heart had never truly only belonged to her and this realization hurt at first but at the same time seeing him suppress his own feelings hurt even more because she knew that it would eventually ruin their relationship if she tried to keep him for herself.

Constantly having to lie to himself and destroy his own feelings would erode what he felt for her and ultimately drive him away from her, this much Sharon knew from experience.

It still didn't make it easy.

Doing the right thing never was but this one was especially heart wrenchingly difficult to accept as she had always been the possessive type but in the end it had to be done.

If she had to choose between keeping him alone and losing him in the end or somewhat sharing but possibly always having a place in his heart then it was a no brainer.

Seeing Lilliana kiss Makoto despite being made aware of his rather unpredictable state of mind, watching someone else be there for him in her stead and doing something that she had not been capable of at the time opened her eyes to many things.

One of them being the pure and honest way that both felt for each other despite having to constantly suppress it all for the sake of standards and to not let others suffer.

Taking a deep breath to calm her beating heart she finally said what she really had dragged Lilly here for.

"I know that you love him and that he feels the same for you too.

Still can't believe that he can have feelings for two girls at the same time.

We ended up falling for quite the pervert didn't we?"

Lilliana only showed a wry smile while nodding once before casting a curious glance at Sharon.

"I see it this way, no matter how much I want him to myself, a part of him belongs to you and there is nothing that I can do to change that so instead of making us all suffer... it might be best to acknowledge it and... move into a different direction."

Surprise was written all over Lilliana's face but at the same time Sharon was able to see a tiny spark of hope in those before empty eyes.

It gave her a complicated feeling seeing this, this strange feeling couldn't really be described as happy or sad so she decided to explore it later and continued.

"Don't misunderstand, I am not willing to share him in any way or form in Real Life... but inside the game I might be able to turn a blind eye... if both of you are also willing..."

It took a lot out of her to finally say this and she wanted to stop at multiple occasions but reminding herself once again that this was the only way gave her the willpower to see it through.

Biting her lip somewhat annoyed after witnessing the drastic change in Lilliana as she showed a dazzling smile which gave Sharon a confusing mix between delight and unease.

Cursing her own stupid jealousy that had made this more complicated than it had to be for a long time now Sharon decided to see it positively and continued to talk with Lilliana while establishing some ground rules.

It was quite obvious that she still wanted to have first dibs on her boyfriend but over the course of the talk she allowed a few extras for Lilliana which seemed to create a constant stream of happiness for the other as her eyes dazzled in the most beautiful of colors while a blooming smile was plastered on her face.

Not restraining her excitement any longer she gave Sharon a big hug which clearly surprised the other but also allowed a warm smile to finally appear on her lips.

She was still not sure if what she had done was the best option but just seeing the before downcast and somewhat hollow expression of the small girl filled with so much life made it all the more worth it.

After once again going through everything that they had established between them they returned to the party and asked around for Makoto to talk with him about the situation.

"If you are looking for him he said that he was going to your room, is something the matter?"

Neither of them were willing to answer as they thanked her and quickly ran to the room that Makoto and Sharon had been in for the last few days.

Not even bothering to knock, Sharon opened the door with a key and was about to start talking when she stopped dead in her tracks.

Lilliana also halted next to her and both women stared at the naked Makoto who was sprawled on the bed, face clearly flushed from liquor while lightly snoring.

Unable to help it they looked at each other and laughter escaped their mouths as did the tension in their bodies.

"Typical, when you really need him he decides to sleep."

Still lightly snickering, Sharon also started to undress next to the somewhat embarrassed Lilliana before jumping into the bed and snuggling against Makoto.

After a few seconds she noticed that there was still someone standing there, seemingly unsure if it was alright to follow suit.

Just seeing Lilly reluctant like that was enough to once again make a smile appear on her lips.

"Are you just going to stand there all night or did you forget what we decided on?

I am not going to bite your head of for lying next to him so come on."

Nodding once she quickly undressed too and Sharon couldn't help but inspect her new rival's body.

It surprised and hurt her at the same time to see that her breasts couldn't match Lilliana's but she had her own strong points after all which she unconsciously used as her legs wrapped around Makoto's.

"What kind of face do you think he is going to make when he wakes up with both of us being like this?"

Lilliana finally asked with a mischievous smile and once again both girls couldn’t help but laugh.

After talking for a few more minutes, Sharon stood up and blew out the candles before once again snuggling against the warm body of her boyfriend.

Her heart was still somewhat uneasy about this new situation but the damage was done.

From now on all she could really do was move forward and make sure that she wouldn't fall behind Lilliana when it came to certain things...

Siege was pretty long wasn't it?
