《Starcraft Unbound》Tentative Return
Advertisement
Ladies and Gentlemen, I can only appologize for the very....VERY long hiatus. Allow me to give you the reason. I feel that everyone who did enjoy this series deserves at least that much.
Where to begin? First off the Unbound Universe and all the stories within it were originally written fro someone who was beyond prescious to me. They were fighting a battle that I couldn't help them with beyond these stories. (Yes, they got countless chapters in advance and were a great help as a whole in creating the Universe for these fictions.) Sadely, they lost their battle and passed away two months after, what so many seem to be messaging me about and leaving poor reviews about, a rather abrut leave of absense from writing. I just idn't have it in me to continue the fictions with such an intigral part of my life, their creation, being gone.
I went through a very bad bout of depression, alchohol, drugs, you name it I did it.
It took a while to pick myself up and stop my whining. (God knows she would have beat my ass for what I had been doing.)
So I came back today, after about four additional months of rest and getting my head fully back on straight only to see people were still reading those stories, still enjoying them (Even the rude ones who left piss-poor reviews. Guess what, you took the time to do so I think you enjoyed it to some degree.)
While this won't be anywhere near as fast in updating as it was before I will try to return to it. I won't lie, it still hurts, always will. Gotta try sometime though.
So, in summary, I am back and will try to post something tonight or tomorrow for anyone that actually does still follow this fiction. The others I wrote are still up in the air at this time. Derelict Core is outright being dropped I am afraid as well. Someone posted something a bit to close with where I was heading for sale on Amazong a few months ago (They did very well with it, just saying) The other Unbound Fictions will be a slow possible return, or perhaps outright new versions as I feel some of them, Starcraft Unbound included, may be a bit to...sacred in my mind and heart at this time. I'll still try though, for you all.

Moving on, please, DO NOT post things like you understand, or wish me the best. I've heard it to much. As silly as that may be to say, I just have. I hope to see many of my old active readers again, and many new ones if this goes how I truly hope it does. I can only promise to do my best to continue these fictions and hope you understand if I am simply not able to fully move on.
I wish you all the best, with much love.

Bio Synthesis
Jake Steel is just your average gamer who on occasion, goes back to his favourite conquests to revel in the slaughter. Then one day life kind of gives him lemons and he decides he might as well get on with it. This isn't a story with some crazy thought out plot line originating from an unsuspecting dark past. Nope, this is just a story I'm weaving a day at a time to see how much creative crap my brain produces and if little old Jakey here can survive it. P.S: If you don't like it then feel free to throw a dollar coin at my face... via my paypal. P.P.S: If you do like it then I'll let you throw more coins at me. Whats a struggling Uni student to do? P.P.P.S: Definitely going to be course language in this story. Oh, and I don't own the cover photo or anything. Just a google images find.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
