Fine, I admit it.

I'm lost on where to go in the story.

I had an idea in my head when I started writing ... but then the characters got away from me.

Kevin kinda settled into his idiosyncratic self.

And it felt like I had to tell his story ... his meandering, not very well directed, kinda aimless story, because monsters weren't really his thing. Even the slavery thing wasn't central. Drums!

Along the way, I got lost on how to tell the next parts of the story --

The rest of the fights against the slavers.

The building of the team (Danae, Mu, the Polynesian Giant, and Priya)

Some wandering, the fight against the final (monkey) boss of the zone

Meeting up with Alec the Plant again

And then the spending of his coins to be more....

Right now, I'm not writing more on this.

I expect I'll come back to this story after my other story is flowing...but I'm paused until I'm writing more reliably.

Y'all probably already knew that...but I've been in denial for the last year.
