I actually had this cover finished months ago but I never got around to actually putting the title text on it, so I paid one of my artist friends to put the title and other font stuff on for me.
Anyways, here it is! The first volume's cover with TTE's new artist.

If it wasn't clear, this is a vampire story taking place in a high fantasy environment. Although while its main character is a vampire and that is one main focus of the story it will also lend itself to the magic side of this world as well. Basically, if you're interested in vampires or magic heavy stories, this will have something for you... probably. The synopsis is kinda vague but If you give it a shot, I think you'll like it. Also, feel free to drop any sort of constructive criticism since this is one of my first experiences writing in first person.Forgot to add that the story will be a little less action-orientated until around chapter 20+ when... well... read and see :) Any chapters with the * next to them have been edited or tweaked. I'll remove it once all of them are.

Heroes of Midlaris is on hiatus until I finish writing Arc 2, and will resume once Arc 2 has been completely written. There is no ETA for this. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

After an apocalyptic end to WWII, the remnants of the world have grown strange. Our current story is set in Paris, as a weak mafia family stage a kidnapping, their plan: abduct two adult children from a local corrupt politician and ransom them back. At the same time, one of the children decides to make a deal with a devil, and the other switches places with her maid. The scene becomes more complicated as a pair of sibling hitmen end up getting involved accidentally. In the end, the insanity finally reaches its peak when a rampaging automobile strikes a building.
