For folks who like number crunching, here's the EXP formulas I decided to use to track how Kestra "should be" leveling based on her encounters.
Sadly for the folks of the Ten Horizon, farm animals do not give EXPs. They are nearly all level 0s. Elsewise, there would be a lot of people vying for slaugherhouse jobs.
Experience needed to next level:
Horizon Level × Current Level = # of at level base kills needed.
Horizon Level for these calculations is (Floor(LEVEL/10,10)+1) [Excel formula, basically 1+ the tens digit of the particular's level]
Kill Experience
Base: Horizon Level × Creature Level × 100
× (# Elemental Core +1)
× (# Open Mana Apertures +1)
× (# Body Tempering Steps +1)
÷ # of Party Members
× [100 + 5×(Target Level - Your Level)]% (minimum 0%)
= Actual Experience Gain
