Day ~115~Part Two~

Sereda reluctantly allowed her wife to ride a few more zip lines and play with the kids for a few hours on their way out. Once they got to the vine enclosure a kind man split it open for them. After passing through they were greeted by an escort of twenty elves. Rea asked them about the curious circumstance, as it turns out the large escort both ways was for their own protection. Those sarblos things roam through Kelaseran randomly so it isn't safe to be alone in the woods. She immediately understood the reason behind how many elves she had met right off the bat.

When they got going Grell, the first elf she had spoke with here, began to walk alongside them. It seemed he was a bit peeved, "You could have introduced yourself by name."

Rea ignored Grell, Sereda slapped him on the back, "You could've too."

"I suppose that's true..." Grell quickly took point.

Marching through the forest was equally as boring as it had been the first time. Rea really was a little disappointed. She had been hoping to see what a sarblos looks like, despite the fear. After parting with the elves and getting a good distance away they set up camp on the nearby southern beach. Rea whipped out some rolled up salad wraps. Sereda warmed a few cups of tea. Sitting on their sewn up roll of mountain bunny, squirrel, and horned rabbit furs they chowed down.

"What's next then?"

Rea crunched on some lettuce, "well, I need to fight and kill a dragon alone. So anything that makes me stronger works. After that we can worry more about the relationship between humans, dwarves, and elves. We've done enough for now."

Sereda pursed her lips, "You're still going through with the dragon thing?"

"Still trying to stop me?"

"No, I just wish I could fight it with you."

Rea took a few moments to think about what she should do, "Well, I need to be a dragoon first. So spearman training, it might also be nice to get some defensive abilities from shieldbearer. Let's head up north to the plains, that's where novice adventurers go right?"

Sereda wasn't sure if she should tell Rea that they both could easily just go straight to the hero town, Valhalla, and find a party there. "Wherever you will go, I will follow you. I said it when I first told you that I loved you, and I'll say it again now. Come hell or high water, I'm with you until the end."

Rea actually blushed, the statement was having a much greater effect on her than it had the first time. "Should we fly there?"

Sereda nodded in approval, why spend weeks traveling on foot when you can get there in a single day riding Rea. Once their meal was finished Rea let out a content sigh. "We packed it in too early today... what are you doing?"

Sereda let out a lusty sigh while running her hand along Rea's lower back, "every time I see you wearing something new I want to take it off."

Rea cracked a smile as Sereda bit down on the ribbons tying her blouse shut, "I knew I married you for a reason."

As her humble mountains shed their violet covers Rea beamed happily at her wife. Sereda ran her hands slowly along the inside of Rea's robe. Rea took in a sharp breath as Sereda's cold hands found purchase on her hips. "Can we spend today inside?"

Rea didn't move, she just looked into her partner's eyes, "Sure, take your time..."

Sereda got the message loud and clear. Little by little she slid Rea's robe off while massaging and kissing the ophidian all over. The taller woman's long powerful fingers gently caressed every one of her favored parts. By now Sereda had gotten to know all of Rea's likes, all of her dislikes. Nibbling on the top her ear, breathing down her neck, firmly grasping Rea's shoulders while grinding a knee into her crotch and suffocating the woman with a passionate kiss... Sereda took her time slowly working Rea up.

Looking skywards Rea tried desperately to hold back, but with every touch of Sereda's lips she gasped and writhed. She knew that Sereda was doing it on purpose, stopping just short of giving Rea what she wanted, slowly taking her time with the new gown. Enjoying the new scene on familiar territory. Just when Rea thought it would never end the gown was suddenly around her shoulders. Sereda firmly gripped then spread Rea's legs, chanting her wife's name as though it were a spell Rea took deeper, heavier breaths.... and Sereda stopped.

Rea looked at her in confusion, "something wrong?"

Sereda let off a familiar purplish blush, "Well, I thought that I might be more open to the idea of Deny being used on me... if I use him on you some..."

Rea threw both of her arms around Sereda and laughed like mad. "I thought you'd kill me if I asked you to."

Sereda pushed her back down, "I guess it's because you didn't ask that I'm even offering."

Rea didn't give her a chance to reconsider. "How does it feel?"

Sereda looked down with a frown, "Isn't this bigger than usual?"

Rea stepped up and got herself in position, looking down at Sereda she claimed, "I've been showing you the minor version, meet Deny's true form, Denarius."

Sereda cocked her head as Rea moaned and began to grind her hips against the head. "Why did you name it after the headmaster... no... you didn't!"

Rea let off a toothy grin, "I so did."

*BY THE GODS!*

Sereda angrily went full force, Rea lost a single tear as the woman continued to ravage her. "Calm down Sereda... *ahn* *ohhh* *mmmn* ...he never even saw me naked."

Sereda slowed down considerably, "Really?"

Rea was about to answer yes, then she remembered testing the garb apparatus, "Well, now that I think about it he actually did this one time... *Ahhh* ...holy mother of... *Nnnnn* *UNIVERSE!!!*"

Sereda let the bizarre sensation of feeling Rea reach her peak sink in, "I can't believe you."

Rea looked her in the eye, "I hadn't even met you yet, he gave me the garb apparatus and did a couple of favors for me. So I offered him a small reward, that was back when I was still bed hopping around Vestlei to please the gods. I swear him seeing me naked and me devouring his..." they both looked down at Rea's pulsing anatomy, "...dragon, had nothing to do with one another."

Sereda let out a dark sigh, "I know you did all sorts of... pervy things around Vestlei, but every time I think I've heard it all you drop a freakin' bomb."

Rea shrugged, "You could just read the books, all of it's in there."

Sereda cursed, "There are books?"

Rea slowly pulled herself off, Sereda almost yanked her back down when Rea let out a lusty moan and twisted the head in a circular motion. Waltzing over to her pack she whipped out the first edition misadventure books. While she was shuffling through the pack, Sereda had been watching her rear bounce back and forth... she was doing it on purpose. As soon as Rea felt both of Sereda's hands grip her hips she looked over her shoulder and got her tail up in the air, "These three are based on me, Meril wrote them."

Sereda cursed again and buried the dragon, slowly this time. It was much more satisfying to watch Rea grind and bite her lips, watching her struggle and cry out really hadn't felt good. "I'll read them after I've calmed down a bit."

Rea sat up against Sereda, the woman slid her hands from Rea's hips all the way to her bust as Rea began to grind. "Take all of that anger and jealousy out now, I'm getting tired of it."

Sereda stopped her partner's movement and pulled the ophidian into a tight embrace, after a few minutes Rea spoke up, "I've never really been into the tantric thing Sereda."

"I'm not even going to ask what that is... I'm sorry..."

Rea made use of her double jointed features to raise a leg then one eighty, looking right into Sereda's eyes again she claimed, "You say I'm sorry, I say I'm not mad. I'm seriously getting tired of this. You're worrying about little, insignificant things. Love by far outweighs any of that." Sereda started to tear up, "You may have suddenly fallen for me, but I took the longer road. Being here, with you, in this moment. I can look into your eyes and honestly say with every fiber of my being, that I am truly, madly, deeply in love with you."

Sereda's eyes snapped open, she almost couldn't believe what she was hearing, "Did you just say you love me!?"

Rea dispelled the troublesome dragon and got a little more comfortable, she then took one of Sereda's hands in her own and placed it upon her chest. "I did, can you feel how calm my heart is." Sereda nodded in affirmation. When Rea pulled her in close for an embrace and gazed into Sereda's eyes the woman realized what she was getting at, "you make my heart race, every moment were apart I think of being together again. Being with you has honestly made my world a brighter place. I can't say that these are the best days of my life, finally falling in love... but they come close."

Sereda closed her eyes and kissed Rea's hands, "The best days will come again, you'll have us both."

Rea closed her eyes and leaned her head against Sereda's shoulder, "I can't wait to see her again, you'll love Elizabeth. She's like a miniature me."

Sereda chuckled hopelessly, "Oh god..."

Rea smacked her wife on the side, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Falling backwards with Rea on top of her Sereda muttered, "Take a wild guess."

Day ~116~

Rea was not the first person awake... in fact, Sereda was absolutely beaming. After watching the object of her affection prepare breakfast in a bikini, Rea, chowed down on the last of their elven leftovers. With breakfast, and a quick soak in the bath out of the way they dismantled their igloo and got to it...

Surrounding them were about thirteen giant shelled monsters sporting some menacing claws, mature kilplarls. Sereda muttered that camping right on the beach may have been a poor decision. Rea wasn't about to have anyone or anything harsh her mellow this morning. The monsters fled in every direction as their prey became a massive fire breathing wyvern. Sereda quickly hopped upon Rea's back and got settled in.

On their way north Rea went about watering every field she could see again. It was actually pretty comical a few times. After Sereda pointed out a small formation of people she landed and looked on. They hadn't expected the honored wyvern to have a rider. None the less they made their offering of jewels. Sereda hopped down and quickly shuffled through a few, once in a while she'd hold one up for Rea to look at. The villagers all watched the bizarre spectacle up until Rea finally approved with a thumbs up... seriously a weird wyvern.

Taking their prize, and leaving the rest of this kind offering, she flew off happily. Sereda was used to telepathy now so they were discussing the best course of action to take. In the end they opted to double back and stop at an isolated village. It was small, only eight cabins with adjoining farms. Rea found the place rather beautiful. They were only looking for a place to spend some time training, rather than jumping into a party with random people. The country smell and familiar sounds of a scythe severing crops gave her a nostalgia rush.

Within a few minutes they had made their way to the largest cabin. Knocking a few times revealed that nobody was home. Looking around back to this place's farm she did spot two young women, and an older one. Sereda took one look at her wife and mouthed the words no, no, no, and no. She could see the lusty look on Rea's face the moment those young lithe farmer's sweaty bods came into view. Dragging Rea away in a sleeper hold, Sereda took them to another cabin. This one actually opened up.

Standing in front of them was a harmless looking shriveled up old man. His farm was in disrepair and all he wanted was to go join his family in Vestlei, unfortunately he hadn't had the money to get there and he didn't want to be a burden on his relatives. Rea and Sereda calmly listened to the old man's life story... After a few brief discussions, and some very real threats, Sereda was escorting the old man to Vestlei. They had decided to give him twenty gold and make sure he meets up with his family. Rea had been given free reign to do as she pleases until Sereda makes it back. Aside from the, don't you dare play with those farmer girls...

The reason Rea stayed behind was to focus on her training. She had been told by Dunwalt multiple times what it would take to get mobile lancer after becoming a lancer. So Rea decided working on that for now would be best... but setting up a course seemed boring and she'd much rather have a sparring partner. Rea had closely examined those farmer girls. The younger ones, sure they were farmers, but the older one had nearly shocked the living daylights out of Rea. What was a [Hero-???] level X doing on a farm?

Curiosity getting the best of her she shimmied on over to the farm again and patiently waited to get noticed. The two younger ones had flat out ignored her to continue with their work, the hero had been trying to do the same... but Rea isn't exactly known for being someone you can easily ignore.

After noticing that they were taking forever to run back and forth across the farm and water their plants Rea dropped a mini cloudburst. As soon as the younger brunette saw that she took one look at Rea, then pointed out all the dry sections that needed to be watered. When the younger blond girl got back she dropped her watering can and gaped. A minute later Rea dispelled her clouds with a snap.

Before they could come say hello, the hero motioned for them to start the next task while approaching Rea. "Something I can help ya with miss?"

"I'm looking for a sparring partner for a few days while I'm waiting for my wife. You look... experienced." The woman hefted a hoe over her shoulder, "I didn't mean farmer experienced."

Giving Rea a more inquisitive look she asked, "I can tell you know, mind if I ask how?"

Lying through her teeth she stated, "I have a scrying spell that locates nearby heroes..."

*Ba-bump!*

Rea looked down and clutched her tightening chest... the hero asked, "something wrong?"

With a perplexed expression she explained, "Sorry, I have somewhere I need to be. Don't mind the wyvern bit, I don't bite."

The hero didn't have a chance to ask what the heck she was talking about. Once again, within ten seconds Rea was a wyvern and flying northwest towards Vestlei. Half an hour later she spotted Sereda and warned her to warn the old man. Rea landed as Sereda's pet wyvern. She then carried them to just out of Vestlei's range. Best not to risk Denarius' wrath. She then waited for Sereda to return. It really hadn't taken them all that long to locate the man's family.

Sereda had another blissfully aggravating look on her face, "What?" Rea asked.

"What are you doing here?" Sereda kicked a pebble away.

"Training without you wouldn't be efficient at all..." Sereda wasn't buying it, time to change the strategy, "training with..."

Sereda raised and eyebrow, "Rea."

"Yeah?"

"Shut up and give me a kiss."

This time, instead of a nice village, they went east. The target was a small wooded area known for low level monsters. Mostly harmless things like horned rabbits. Upon landing they slowly marched into the baobab tree forest. It was a little creepy with all the upside down trees. Rocks and sand, instead of grass, made up all of the surrounding area's land. A scent of blood lingered in the air. Both of them were on guard, not a single critter was in sight.

"Think they saw you?"

Rea pulled out her blade garb, "from that far? Nah."

Just then they both spotted something in the distance, "Ohhh..." they spoke in unison.

Sereda's thought was, It was just an adventurer.

Rea's thought was, That's damn scary.

"Time to run." The lanky six meter tall wooden beast with wide red eyes was marching towards them.

Sereda had the nerve to ask, "Why?"

Rea was already dragging her away, "Do you wanna have a go at it alone?"

Sereda realized Rea was looking way too high to be looking at a person, "There's nothing up there."

Rea stopped and looked back, "What are you looking at?"

"A person in robes."

Rea let out an audible sigh. The monster was slow but if that was the case people were probably its prey, not other monsters. Thinking the right thing to do would be to get rid of it she didn't bother saying anything else and launched a full powered lava burst at it. As the magic made contact it howled and doubled over. Sereda looked at the giant mass of muscle and wood, then back to Rea. "I'd have walked right up and said hello!"

"HELP!" it shouted in a raspy voice...

Now Rea was feeling stupid, she'd forgotten her whole sentient beings thing. Quickly telling Sereda to put the bow down she took a step forward, "Sorry."

The giant looked up at her, its wooden features, rotted teeth and bright red eyes all swiveled back and forth. It strained and tried to speak again, but the damage was making concentration difficult. Rea used telepathy to ask, how is it?

Looking down at a painfully melted layer of wood and flesh the creature responded, bad. It then looked back up, shock was obvious even on its twisted features, help!

Rea figured it was talking about the damage so she popped out a vial of [Elixir]. Sereda stopped her from walking up. The steel woman walked forward instead and tried to hand it over. Giant clumsy limbs made of bone and half rotten wood flexed. Sereda got the message and poured it directly down the creature's throat. They both watched as the damage reverted... some of its bark even regained color. Sereda retreated to Rea's side as the behemoth stood to its full height again. Thank you, my name is Gaius Woodwhisperer. I beg you for your aid.

Rea cocked her head, "you can speak right?"

Gaius chuckled in a deep booming voice, "people tend to run like mice when I start talking."

"Well, to be fair, you do sneak up on them with that illusion."

Gaius scratched his back, "would you get anywhere near me otherwise?"

"Probably not," Rea looked down at his stumpy feet, something was very off here, "help?"

"I messed up my transmogrification spell. I've been sensing your magic and following you for the past few days." An arm swung wide as he explained.

Rea felt a bit admonished, so he isn't slow... "I'm not a druid..."

That confused Gaius immensely, "But you can use our greatest gift, quite well at that."

"I ate an orc's heart, got the ability there and then."

Gaius' rotten teeth ground together a bit, "any way to identify him?"

Sereda gave a quick explanation of what his wyvern form looked like, even the spells it had used. The druid sat down and listened intently, his tension became joy when he understood who she had eaten. "There aren't many of us around, you killed one of the bad ones. Don't worry about it. There are a few good orcs out there, believe it or not."

Rea wasn't sure what to think about him, but she was sure he had information she could use. A druid had tried to kill her, and it had been causing the rising tension in Lumansolice by bottle necking murffberry supplies. Sensing an opportunity in Gaius, she waltzed right up, "what do I do?"

Gaius let out a sigh, more like a gust of wind, "you would require some basic rejuvenation spells. From what I understand you are already a mage. I shall have to seek another druid out."

Sereda cut in, "teach her how, see that stupid look on my wife’s face?" Rea's stupid look turned to a playful scowl, "she wants to know druid magic. Believe me when I say you'll be surprised."

Gaius looked down at the curious woman who had just crawled into his lap, "it's not easy."

Rea forced a bond, Gaius' red eyes went wide as he realized what she'd just done. Suddenly he could sense the woman in front of him, her mana threshold was like a lake compared to his own tiny pond.

Rea broke his line of thought, "show and tell Gaius, chop chop." He gave her a flat look as she hit his wood with a double karate chop.
