For those of you reading the new chapters here, I apologize, but I will not be continuing them. I thought about it long and hard, and I decided that I really didn't know where I was going with the new stuff. Torga's story was complete, and I shouldn't be trying to mess with it too much. So for that, I apologize.
What is going to happen is this, A Snake's rise is the true sequel to a snake's life (I'll link it below for anyone that wants to read it.) However, it has been redubbed A Snake's Path and altered to flow more concisely with the first book. The POV is being changed, some aspects have been altered, and the total size of the book is changing due to it being split into 2.5 books. (Two main entries + a short story focused on Reina.)
I will post the "new" version of that story here for you all to read, while the original will stay posted in case you'd like to go back and read it as it once was. (I'm replacing the first 11 chapters of Snake's Path that I already posted with the new stuff.)

The entity's power with no owner to control them start to imbue itself in to the items the entity it was carrying along with the rest going to the mortal world changing it forever. The god noticing the powers movement decided to seal the items and send them into other realms for the gods realm can't hold the item because of the curse the gods place upon it. After thousands of years some of the items developed sentience with one taking on the role and name that has long been forgotten... Reaper.
