Hey guys, so any of you that looked at my upload schedule, or my work ethic in general can probably tell that my motivation and ability is tapering off. What that means right now, is indefinite hiatus for Rocky and the gang.

I'll be working to put out a new fiction, hopefully with a unique magic or progression System, instead of piggybacking off a successful template like so many others have.

I'm not conceited enough to think that this'll be some sort of 'earth shattering' announcement, so I'll try to keep it brief. Here are the things I'll be doing differently, and what I learned from this as I prepare to start a new story:

1. Creating a new 'system', that isn't just a poorly thought out plot convenience

Reusing the vague 'System' from other stories in the way that I did is fine when its combined with one or more of three things: An engaging plot, a clear end goal, or expansive worldbuilding. I had none of these (at least in my mind), and I'll be aiming to incorporate everything into my next fiction.

2. Playing the algorithm

I definitely could've spaced releases, and buoyed my own chances of greater success. Optimal times for realease are, as I see them 12PM (noon), 4PM, and occassionally 11PM EST. This, however, requires my third change.

3. Chapter bank

I don't know why I thought it was a good idea to come in without a single arc completed or planned out, but it was honestly the worst thing I could have possibly done out of everything here. I am for either 40 chapters or a completed arc before putting out a prologue.

4. Just story elements in general

I'm not an experienced writer, so just the general shortcomings of this work are very helpful in charting a course through otherwise untested waters. I'll be planning a lot more, and creating some sort of initial 'goal', that isn't so forced as the ones here.
