Is living without purpose really living?

The Bound One has been slain and the Balthin Green Sea is free of corruption for the first time in centuries. All thanks to the woman once known as Ianna Kovac. Teyva Akura has walked through fire and come out changed as a result, but she has a whole world outside of the crowded trees waiting for her. With her Knight, Azrael Unabi, the Orcish Guardsman Elat, and her monstrous companions. Teyva sets out on the next step of her journey where there are worse fates waiting than death.

As Teyva comes face to face with the reality of living a new life, she'll have to wrestle not only with her inner demons but the Ancient Queen, Teyva Rani, who is obsessed with taking control of her body. She'll have to survive the trip west across the Wildlands to Osan, the homeland of the Azar, and meet with the so-called King of Demons himself in the hopes of finding a cure.

There is evil in the world, though, forces arrayed on all sides moving towards their own ends. She'll need newfound strength, the loyalty of her companions, and the willingness to cross unthinkable lines in order to see the other side of her journey. But to what end? Can she step into the darkness and come out unscathed or will she become a monster unlike the world has ever seen before?
