So, I have decided to re-release “A New Breed of Pirate” for several reasons. The biggest, I have found a couple plot holes that are just going to continue to get bigger until they break the story. Some others are: I really want to streamline the game mechanics so they are easier to implement, I want to explain some things I was too vague about, and I want to add/ take out some characters. So, instead of trying to rewrite and have a lot of confusion, I’m gonna re-release.

Probably the biggest change will be, the book will be starting from the very beginning, starting with Utah first plugging in. It will also answer some pretty big questions. A couple other changes will be: all chapters will be 2500 words or more, the money system will be simplified, and there will be a greater emphasis on game mechanics. So, if you guys would like to read those as they come out, go to my patreon and select any of the tiers, and you will get at least five chapters ahead of RR. Just so you know, the $5 option will be a permanent ‘latest chapter’ tier until I begin releasing here in Royal Road again.

It will probably take me a month or so to get the amount of chapters I would like built up, and then I will begin to release once a day until I run out. Please let me know if you guys have any questions in the comments.
