Don't worry - I won't tease you all like this again anytime soon, but I wanted to announce a couple of things. First, I just started my Patreon. I know it's not a huge deal because everyone who writes on this site seems to have one, but I just wanted to get the information out there for those of you who care. You can support my work by signing up for one of three tiers. The first, Elite, only costs a dollar, but you really don't get much for it, either. Just think of it as a monetary high-five. The second tier, Boss, costs five dollars, and it will allow you to read five chapters ahead. Finally, the third tier, Monarch, cost ten dollars and allows you to read ten chapters ahead.

I also want to note that when I reach certain milestones, I will increase the Patron rewards. For instance, when I get to 100 Patrons, I'll increase the Boss tier to ten chapters ahead and the Monarch tier to fifteen. And I intend to keep that pattern going (increasing the rewards at important milestones) until you're all reading fifty chapters ahead and I'm posting chapters five days a week.

The reason I'm structuring things this way is simple: in order to make this writing thing work properly, I need to devote a lot of time towards it. That takes away from the time I can spend on my normal job. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible, but it's all a function of time management. However, the more income generated from this endeavor, the more time I can invest in writing. So, given that, I'd be able to pass that benefit onto you all.

I should also note that if the Patreon reaches the level of success I hope for, it will allow me to also work on a few other stories I've mapped out. But that's down the road a bit. Either way, Death: Genesis will be my first priority until I've told the story I want to; the others will be side projects that won't see the light of day for a while.
