So, just wanted to give a short update on the state of things and the story going forward.

First, the last few chapters came out real rough. A combo of work, being real sick with some sort of cold from hell (not Covid) and a lack of sleep. I am in the middle of rewriting them, which should be out by tomorrow night or Wednesday at latest. Appreciate all the comments, you all are completely write and best I can do is promise to get chapters done more in advance to avoid that in the future.

Second, I am strongly considering a more extensive rewrite of the story from basically chapter 1 to around chapter 80-ish. Over the last few months, I've thought of a dozen different things I could have done better, in the first couple dozen chapters especially. I've mentioned potentially doing a patreon in the future, but I don't feel comfortable doing that when I feel the story could be much better in the long run.

If I went the rewrite route, my plan would be to basically start a new story, release rewritten chapters on that at an accelerated pace and release new chapters on this story until the rewrite catches up. So, I might release chapter 7,8 and 9 on the rewrite and chapter 101 on the original on the same day, for example. I also plan to put together a document summarizing all major changes for those that don't want to have to reread hundreds of pages.
