Hello there! Yeah… I’ve been gone for a while. Again. But as I said last time I have not, and will not, give up on Dalric. Life just gets in the way sometimes. Now though, I’m back! The Deathseeker will return on December the 5th. As I’m sure some of you surmised, I didn’t randomly choose that date. It’s currently NaNoWriMo and I’m participating in RR’s version of it. Unfortunately, not with The Deathseeker. These chapters take way too long to complete even 35k words in a month. As such, I’m writing something else.
Introducing, A King in the Clouds
It’s a very different vibe. There will be a bit more action and a lot smaller stakes, but still plenty of fantastical diplomacy, politics, intrigue, and overall kingdom-building coupled with a competent MC with a lot of emotional growth to undertake. We’ve only just begun to touch upon some of those in TDS, but they start right from the prologue in AKC. I hope you enjoy it!
In addition. I’m pretty much done with the edits. Sometime before Dec 5th I’ll switch out the chapters so be on the lookout for that. You don’t necessarily have to re-read, but I’d recommend it. The main pieces of the meal are largely the same, but the seasonings and garnishes have changed.
