After giving some thought to it, I've decided to start occasionally working on some of my original pieces that I've left on the backburner for a long while.

Streets of Sorcery: A Sci-Fi Urban Fantasy novel

Markus Kaine was no one of importance, really. An introductory magic teacher at a barely-surviving strip mall, he prided himself on keeping his head down and making sure the wealthy teenagers he gave his first taste of magic to didn't have a reason to complain to their parents about him and get his pay docked. Two hours ago, his biggest fears were losing his job, getting further into debt, and avoiding his old friends and family. Now, though?
