I snorted a laugh.
I selected my bedroll and had it stripped away to make room, then selected the bed icon and dropped it inside the lean-to. A huge Constructor dropped out of the sky and went to work, hovering just in front of the lean-to so it could aim its lasers inside.
I scratched the back of my head.
I said, as the Constructor finished its work and zoomed back up into the sky.
Ezzie yawned through the link.

The link dropped out so I headed over to the crops that we’d planted. We currently had a single rice paddy, a lonely corn stalk, and a small cluster of wheat in addition to five potato plants.
I harvested everything—which was just a matter of bringing up a floating blue menu in front of the crops—and replanted it all, leaving us with four rice paddies, four stalks of corn, five wheat clusters, and almost twenty potato plants.

We probably wouldn’t have time to replant everything again before the invasion, but it was a relief to know that at the very least we’d have a surplus of food from now on, and that we could greatly expand our fields whenever we needed without dipping into coins.
Hopefully cooking would stop being utter shit before then. But at least it hadn’t taken up a profession slot.
I had the Constructor strip my armor off, then waded into the pool to clean up. Afterward, I crawled onto the bed, set my head down one on of the pillows—I had pillows, plural!—and slept like the dead.

Aggravated Defense (Progression LitRPG)
A quick TL;DR pitch. LitRPG Apocalypse with group progression, a non-overpowered mc, a limited skill-slot System where having a single skill over your opponent could make a big difference. A barrier mage mc who isn’t an Edgelord A sentient System that’s a character in its own right. And no harem or cheat skills. ~<>~<>~ Steven knew the world had ended when a great green and purple dome covered the city of Anchorage. Then things got weirder. First earthquakes, then bolts fell from the sky, changing and twisting the things they hit. Steven, stuck in the throes of apathy, had sought shelter out of boredom more than anything else. But when some fellow survivors are separated and trapped by a rampaging moose, an emotion breaks through his apathy. He can’t turn away. Some people say it’s everyone for themselves at the end of the world. Steven disagreed ~<>~<>~ Will update every Sunday and Tuesday at 9:00am, unless the chapter is beefy, then we'll just have one that week. For some more meta details about this story, it’s a LitRPG Apocalypse with a focus on abilities and how they are used over stats and numbers. It will have group progression, a non-overpowered protagonist, and a focus on unique and interesting classes. No overwhelming advantages for the main crew or broken cheat skills. No harem, some amount of gore, decent levels of profanity.

New sects were born, clans spread, nations rise and war once more appeared. Still the catastrophe had not only drastically changed the world but the energy of nature. Instead the grand energies seemed as if something had snuffed a huge amount of it, now the areas were each energy appeared each possessed different kinds of energy. One region could simply have Qi, another could have Qi where each area within a region had specific element to it, there was mana which permeated the air in other regions, Spiritual force in others, infernal energy in another and so each massive region slowly claimed their own resource and their growth slowly diverted only towards these energies. Only there was one type of being that could survive and grow in each and every kind. The most mysterious which were all called Riders.
