Techno PoV

To say i wasn't in the least bit surprised about Nova's turret weapon would be a lie. Though i already knew she had talent for weapon building since she made her own rifles, it's more surprising the approach she took in building the weapon.

Instead of building as one weapon she built it in smaller easier to carry and assemble parts.

The weapon itself sucks because it leaks too much steam but firing a lump of scrap 200 meters is good for something that isn't a prototype. Still it doesn't have strength.

To see exactly how much power it has i spent the next day rebuilding the turret but fixing the leaks and using non rusted iron as a test.

The results were much more the satisfying. I made an empty bomb shell with a drone inside so i could track it.

I shot it at a 25 degree angle which would be, more or less an average that would take a cannon ball over to the ship.

To everyone's surprise, the ball flew nearly a kilometer at the angle we shot it at and then started descending stopping nearly three kilometers away.

Everyone in our crew was silent after i passed the info. We then all looked at Nova who innocently tilted her head not understand what was wrong.

This was probably the weapon that held the greatest range.

Now i have to say this. The turret is a cannon but the only part that makes it a cannon was ball five which goes on top and holds the barrel. Because of that i build a different kind of barrel.

If anyone has ever seen a proper military turret you would know they have a double barrel turret on ships for rapid fire shooting with high caliber round.

I tried mimicking it and after just a bit of altering of balls three and four that stay below ball five i was able to do it.

The rounds were the size of a .50 BMG.

I was curious about its penetration power so my crew went into the scrap yard and after finding a good spot we pulled out five sheets of iron, five of steel and five of earth alchemy steel all of which were 1 cm thick each. We line the all up on in front of each other standing at 100 meters away and with a single round loaded we shot.

First off let me say the sound from the shot is scary in itself and the penetration power is off the charts. It penetrated to the second to last earth alchemy steel sheet. A single sheet of earth alchemy steel is about twice as hard as regular steel. In other words something has to have at least 7 cm of earth steel to survive a round from this gun.

Since the distance will alter this we do more tests and see that after 500 m the round stops at the third earth steel sheet.

Since the pirate ships are all made of steel or junk metal they would die a dog's death with this.

Since this was a prototype, Victor and I quickly start working on a final product.

I have him go fast with the golem to gather a lot of minerals to have them produce cores. I ask the Ena and Blaze to do the same. We need to remake our stock of cores.

Since i had time i remake the gear makeup of Asura. The because it takes a lot of minerals to make a core the others spent the day gathering resources to make them so i was left with the full day.

All of the physical stats on Asura increased in about 20% and with a bit of tweaking i repaired a few coding improving intelligence by 5% while wisdom stayed the same since that is thinking process and it’s something altered by the actual mind. It did rise before but it was because our minds became cleaner and our brains worked better.

Still it’s a good enough improvement that would help out later.

I had time to improve Yasha's code which improved intelligence by 8% and it improved the movement of my body and hands making my agility and dexterity rise by 3%. Guess Yasha needs more programming to properly move still. Anyway the others returned with two new golem cores and the fire elementals had two as well.

We grind them and begin making the alchemy steel for the turret.

With this number of cores we can make enough steel for two turrets.

Fire steel is resistant to heat so they are used in barrels and pipes while earth steel is under to make a strong body capable of lasting with all the shooting.

The actual part making takes longer than building so for the next four days Victor and I plus all the clockwork robots we control work on building the stock. Obviously the golems were made to make more cores. I was going to make three models. Long range mortars, long range cannons and mid-range dual barrel turret.

There will be two mortars both in the front and back of the ship. The cannons will have four, two on each side of the center part of the deck, one in the back and one in the front and the turret will have on in the center of the top deck and it will have a 360 rotation base as well as a pilot seat for Victor who will man it.

On the fourth day Brock finally woke up. He explained what happened. We were rather surprised to find he went to the hospital because of mental fatigue but it seems he is better. He was limited to playing only 1 game day which is just about 5 hours.

Though it was mostly because he was still under observation for the next two weeks but none the less we tell him not to overexert himself.

I had the girls take him to the mine so he can absorb minerals to regain his strength. His current body is too weak for his core so until he gets to Black Iron golem he will be in a weakened state and can't make his sky whale body.

During the time we built the turrets it seems Rust had finished delivering the ships and came over. It was a simple trade. I passed him a copy of my code before i improved them a few days ago and it was done.

He took a look at the weapons we were making before just sighing and walking off. I smiled at him seeing as he already understood the strength behind them. Put nicely, i would wage on the pirates retreating while losing half their fleet in the initial confrontation.

I don’t plan on destroying all of them. I will leave 3 ships and “lose” them and by chance find their base before ending things.

Like any other game when a place is destroyed it would take money and resources to reconstruct. Getting rid of all the ships plus the base of operations i was sure to make a large number of enemies but then again, when someone PK’s a pirate especially when you gained a quest like this.

Mission: Pirate Genocide

The first signs of trash grouping up together has already appeared. Criminals, scum or lazy ass criminals who don’t have anything better to do have been causing trouble and stealing precious steel parts for ships and weapons that are transported to the Shipyard City.

Your task is to eliminate all the pirates leaving them with little to work with.

Success: Kill all pirate both Players and NPC

Failure: You die

Because it was a formal request to kill all of them I’m not holding back and i will vent my stress on these guys. Not only that, i won't get any penalty because they are already marked men.

Pirates are automatically considered PK so they are marked for killing even if they never killed and only stole.

When we finished building the turrets i built a spot in the place they are stationed. With a command it opens up and the balls are released for us to build.

When i have free time i want to try using drones like this. This tech has too much potential to leave it at turret.

Anyway i take the rest of the fifth and the whole sixth day to upgrade my Yasha body, Bulk and Nova. Also we upgraded Victor’s armor. He asked if we could make a battle suit like one a pilot sits inside.

We said we would do it some other time. It would probably be too high leveled to use.

My body's physical stats raised a lot though we didn't change any plates so my durability in both bodies remained the same. This is my stats as of this moment.

Ok i really want to ask when she got that much luck but then after thinking of a few of the things that happen to us it’s easy to understand. Her charisma probably comes from the Menthol thing and her stopping him so easily.

Now she isn't a close range fighter and uses the protectors so I will focus on the other stuff.

I put 70 points on Dexterity and agility since both help with ranged class the last 70 i put 50 points on toughness and the last 20 on intelligence.

With this her durability reaches 1635 points and agility and dexterity reaching the scary 200's I'm sure that with this the chances of her hitting a small dingy at nearly 2 km away is high enough that she can send the cannon ball right onto its deck.

I'm really overdoing it with her for sure. Even if we don't stay here 35 years that my sentence says i would here. We would probably fight someone of Delta's strength in some years from now.

Speaking of which doesn't the game have an online auction. I don't know how mom and dad are but it would be good to support them a bit. Maybe when i get a comfortable distance ahead of other players.

Anyway all we have left to do is set up the turret stations and wait for brock to heal up.

Brock PoV

Man i haven't felt this weak since i was a level 1. I can't have my body grow because the minerals i need are different. Still, my earth magic has been amplified and i can use a sub category called Metal Magic. Just like its name suggests i can manipulate metals both mineral and refined.

My ability to gather and extract iron and obsidian is greatly helped by this.

Still i need so much iron that instead of going to the iron veins i head into the mine shafts that were once used to get down to the lava pool.

The reason was that i would probably drain the iron vein completely.

The pool itself is cooled down and the body of the golem was still there solid and with a huge hole it its chest.

After examining it i found the room had a lot of obsidian and even more so in the remains of the lava golem.

I tell Victor to wait while i gather enough.

I climb up into the hole in the golem’s chest and place both hands down on the ground below me. My arms mix into the dirt body and i could feel the huge reserve of obsidian in the room.

I also saw that it was acting as a lid for the lava below so i couldn't take it from places that would break the balance. Still the body of the dead golem had a lot so i gathered from there.

As i drain the dead body i could feel strength return. Or should i say increase. My strength as the earth doll was the same as before. Put simply, Earth Spirit Golems are an OP golem or even a boss class race.

Speaking of that it seems my class changed finally. I actually wondered if ever changed since few jobs exist. Still Sky Whale (Infant) is a rather...strange class. It seems to be a beginner race class linked directly to my ability to create a second body.

It doesn't give abilities or skills probably because of that. Still what it does give is a massive growth in skill when absorbing iron and obsidian.

Anyway when i finally finished absorbing the obsidian in the lava golem’s corpse i had reached the amount of obsidian i needed. Not only that, i was already back to my full adult size.

Brock: ‘Ya i already reached my mature size. I can make my Whale body now.’

Victor: ‘Didn’t you need more iron?’

Brock: ‘Well it’s black iron so i might have needed more Obsidian than Iron.’

Victor: ‘Makes sense. So what do you need for the whale?’

Brock: ‘I need to gather the materials for its body. Different stuff changes its stats and look.’

Victor: ‘I see. Well no need to worry about it now. Since you would endanger the city's supply let's make your body some other place. Away from here.’

I nod and we return to the surface. To say i was Op was in understatement now. I never placed extra stat points since i always getting boost from metal eating. Now that i have a chance all my own and since Techno forgot about it, let’s add them. I have 201 points since in my 67 levels i never added one point. So i add 35 to agility to even out at 100, 35 in strength giving me 300 strength, 40 to Toughness giving me 300 toughness, 30 intelligence and wisdom leaving it each 180 and 240 respectively and the last 31 points in dexterity which leaves me at 127 points. This is my stat right now.

Damn i was too damn lucky to get this class because of it i got so much stat. I was the best tank now because i had the most HP. For me, i would never want to become a Synthoid since this seems far better. Ena and Blaze might have a rare elemental form as well but it would take so much luck to run into another one and come out of it alive.

Still I can’t wait to fight someone. My magic is going to be so epic. I have 80% affinity with earth magic and i can do a lot of damage since spells are stronger the better the affinity.

Victor PoV

Damn! Brock looks strong now and his pure black body which is in a really human shape like before now looked really dangerous. Like more dangerous than Techno dangerous.

I don’t know how much of a boost he got from this but i was sure that he was the toughest out of his without a doubt.

I kind of feel left out now. I had suggested having a close range battles suit made for myself so i could fight more evenly but i didn’t get much of a reaction from Techno. Put simply, i will make it myself. I already have a model that was built to fight the strongest marvel superhero so i will go with that. No way in hell i was going to be left behind.

When we got back to the ship i headed off to the workshop and began making every little piece i needed. This would be a project that would take at least 3 months because of the complexity. I can slowly improve my current suit to handle parts of it but i can’t wait until it's complete. Anyway with Brock up and running we finally contact Rust and tell him we are ready.

With the turrets already complete we are already making enough ammo that we can go to war for at least 3 hours without stopping. A simple pirate group would never be able to handle our fire power. Not when they are using simple crappy ships.

Anyway the best way to draw those bastards out is by escort so Rust has a ship loaded up with parts needed urgently at the shipyard town and soon it lifts off with use behind it. We were getting the turrets in place but leaving the last ball so it looked like random machines. Soon we head in the direction and we are all on high alert.

Techno PoV

For the escort ship they were on high alert and the tension was high but for us who have seen scarier things that a couple pirates we didn’t bat an eye. That said i did let Nova have her weapons back during this time. Stratus gained a special hatch which opens up and lets him fly out at Nova’s or my command.

I had Asura on the top deck while my Yasha body was in the command room controlling the ship.

For a long while there was nothing on the ship's scanners but from nowhere the scanner started to receive interference. Not being some idiot i had already prepared for this and i connected to the ships consoles and i uploaded an anti-hacking program and tracking program and instantly the computers returned to normal and it showed were the hacking was coming from.

On the radar there were around fifteen ships about 3 km in front of us and they seem to be moving out right now.

Just before i could call the others one of the monitors was covered in static before a clockwork Knight.

Knight: ‘So you are the scum that interfere with me! The great leader of “The Clockwork” TECHNO!’

I was completely stunned that even if i wasn’t partially mute i wouldn’t be able to respond.

Fake Techno: ‘What's with that stupid face! Scared~ of having such a powerful foe like me who defeated the lava golem with just a little girl and another Knight!’

I had to cover my mouth. It was starting to get ridiculous.

Fake Techno: ‘HEY DON’T LAUGH FOR ANY REASON TRASH! YOU BETTER SURRENDER OR YOU WILL DIE!’

I couldn’t handle it after that. I burst out laughing as loud as possible. I couldn’t stop either this was too much. I’ve heard of this in manga, LN and fanfics but to think it was real. There was actually an idiot who tried to get famous off someone else's name.

I had in all this time finally had a genuine laugh from the very depths. I couldn’t stop. Obviously the clear sound of my laughing caught the attention of everyone outside.

Nova: ‘No way! Bro is laughing!’

Bulk: ‘No way! He can laugh!’

Victor: ‘Oi! Snap out of it! What’s so funny to make even you laugh!’

I turned to them and pointed at the moron on the screen.’

Fake Techno: ‘To laugh at me! YOU WILL ALL DIE AT THE HANDS OF ME THE LEADER OF “THE CLOCKWORK”.

It took several second for everyone to actually process this before everyone fell over laughing like me. Only Nova was left wondering what was funny since she didn’t really know about “The Clockwork” title everyone calls us.

Nova: ‘Hey guys, who is this noisy old man?’

This made it worse those who were living beings were nearly out of breath and were holding their sides as it was starting to hurt to laugh so much.

The steam from the fake was blowing so heavily that i think he would dry up soon.

After regaining some self-control i simply connected to the com and did a very simple thing.

I get in front of the screen. Lift up my front right arm and with my middle finger straight up pointed towards him i said a very simple line out loud.

Techno: ‘Go fuck yourselves weaklings.’

I cut the connection and block all channels.

Techno: ”Ok, fun time is over. Let's teach these assholes what it feels like to fight the real “Clockwork” crew”

All: ‘YAY!!!’

How to calculate HP/Durability

Base health/ durability when rusty body trait is removed 200

Durability 10 points for each level. Current level 65. +650 durability

Toughness/Vitality 1 point = +5 durability each. Toughness/2*10

Toughness/2*10 + level*10 + 200= Current health.

How to calculate MP

Base mana is 100

Level up gives 10 MP

Intelligence/2*10 + Wisdom/2*10 = Mana capacity
