《The Great Tower》Discussion and Q&A

Hello readers. Sorry, no chapter today =(.
I want to take a moment to talk about a few things simultaneously: Release Schedule, My Focus, and Ideas for the Future.
Anyway, moving on: My Focus has always been to use this writing as a stress relief. I don't plan on monetizing it in any way. I have an actual career for that xD. But I write things that I think are cool. It seems enough of you agree, so I'll continue doing it. I don't really care about ratings on here, I'd rather get out a bit of fiction as quickly as possible to the readers.
Similarly, sometimes I want to be silly. So the story will take silly turns. Not like Predator becomes a clown silly, but Predator gets a repeat growth rate silly.
I want to address generally some of the comments made to the last two chapters. But first, I want to say that I did shift gears, and started heading in a new direction. A lot happened very quickly. Part of it is due to the fact that some people have seemed stuck on background questions, and these other POVs illuminate more of the world.
So I am partially at fault for the shift. But I went back through and just reread 35 and 36.1, and although not a lot happens, there is quite a bit of world posturing that I'm pleased with. I prefer to have a large bit of plot at the beginning, have it flow downhill, and then all come together in the end. These chapters were the first step.
Anyways, back to the addressing. First, I'm a little bemused by the reaction to the Leprechaun. I'm hesitating how much explanation I should give, but I suppose I'd rather you be more informed in the future, so here goes:

1. Leprechaun may very well be a great growth rate: we don't know. You don't get to see the rate before the splice occurs. Which is important going forward, because he doesn't retain the tainted leprechaun growth rate, he kept a normal leprechaun. Stay tuned~ It's also worth noting that the tainted leprechaun was completely designed by the skill, and doesn't actually exist, which is why it caused problems.
2. No one thought it was important that it was reduced to 0, not 1? I guess it was just me playing nerd games with myself. You guys spend so much time making strange arguments, I thought that I was clever by putting that out there for someone to pick up on xD. Oh well.
3. Perhaps it wasn't immediately clear, but he is not "unlucky". This was a plot device, although I'll enjoy having the moving part of the Light of the Star. But that triggers a catastrophe AROUND him. It will be easy to amuse myself with it.
There were also complaints about POV switching: I'm unconvinced, but I'll keep it in mind. Every one of the switches except for Shuu's second POV had the name in the first non-dialogue sentence. And Shuu's was about a certain topic, so I figured that would be obvious enough from the discussion...
Complaints about mind control, about reading for Predator, etc... I understand. I'm just annoyed I didn't save up and release all of 36 together, because it will swiftly become something of a non-issue. I just left it there because I wanted to give you guys something daily, and I thought it would be a fun cliff.
...Did I miss anything? Oh, I think it's rude and unnecessary to post a comment telling me you are done reading. If you don't care about the story, why bother commenting?
Finally, ideas! Not that I need any immediately, but feel free to post in the comments any ideas for races, skills, titles, etc., different powers you would like to see. The system is pretty open, I just need to find an appropriate places for things ^_^.
Also, I'll spend my extra time today answering any questions you may have HERE, so comment away with your frustrations~

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Sacrificed in Thirty Seconds
A somewhat unusual reincarnation story, where the main character is thrown into a new world and tries to survive. It is a combination of survival/adventure. I wrote it as a fast-paced, action driven story. If you like slice of life, or extensive descriptions, it is probably not for you. This is my first book here, I will not remove it, but do not expect anything special.
