Erthia - The World
Races:
6 major races, including 5 mortal races, each one of them being divided into sub-groups or sub-races. Divines, humans, demi-humans, elves and demons.
Continents:
All self-sufficient and all separated by oceans. There are five of them, each one being named after a cardinal point. The Middle Continent (chapter 1), known as the neutral land, is the main territory of humans, but is also inhabited by a large population of demi-humans and a small proportion of Elves. It is where the story takes place. The North Continent (chapter 20), known as the realm of demons, is the territory of the Demon Lord, but also the refuge of all Demonic races. The South, the West and the East Continents have yet to be mentioned.
Timeline:
Some of you wanted to know more about the world's history, so here is a historical timeline of the major events. It's not exactly a spoiler, as those are events that happened prior to the beginning of the story, but most of them have yet to be mentioned, so I'll still add a spoiler tag.

The Characters
-listed in the order in which they appear in the story, up to the epilogue of part II-
Lynett Maedis Whiteheart / Aileen Woods - Divine (prologue) : Main character of the story. Goddess of All Creations. She was diagnosed with cancer and admitted to a General Hospital at a young age. Over the years, she created Erthia, just before passing away from a transplant failure. After her death, she was reincarnated in the world she created.
Azariah Maedis - Elf (prologue): Lynett's mother. She was captured by human slavers a few years prior to the story, then sold to the Whiteheart Household. There, she was assigned the task to take care of the Lord's infant son, who just lost his mother. A few years later, she was freed by the Lord of the house after being romantically involved with him, just before fleeing the mansion during the attack on the Whiteheart Household. She took refuge in a small city farther in the South, where she settled in a local inn and gave birth to Lynett. She was later blessed by her daughter.
Aoban Whiteheart - Human (prologue): Lynett's half brother from her father's side. Son and heir of the previous Marquis of Eskor. As he never knew his birth mother and was raised by Azariah, he considers her as his real mother even though they're not blood related. He kept very few memories of his father. Upon returning to the Whiteheart mansion, he received his rightful education as the heir. He gets along with his sister very well, and is very protective of her. He later received her blessings, and now attends the Arcane Academy.
Naia - Divine (first mentionned in prologue): The Goddess of Light and Order. One of the Originals and one of the six High Gods, worshipped by many humans.
Randy - Human (Chapter 1): Owner of the inn where Lynett and her family lived in the early story. He offered Azariah a job.
Leonara - Human (chapter 2): Randy's wife. She was very friendly to Azariah and very fond of Lynett, whom she treated as her own daughter.
Yao / Mister Cat - Demi-human (chapter 2): Slave of the Whiteheart household. Born a slave, he was seperated from his family at a very young age and sold to the Whitehearts. Accustomed since birth to his condition, he is very loyal to his masters.
Viran - Human (chapter 3) : Randy and Leonara's son. He befriended Aoban in the early story as Lynett and her family lived in the inn his father owned.
Jack Whiteheart - Human (chapter 4): Current Marquis of Eskor and head of the Whiteheart Household. Lynett and Aoban's uncle. After his brother and nephew's disappearance, he became the new head of the family. He actively searched for Azariah and Aoban for almost two years. As he finally discovered where they were hiding and "persuaded" them to return, he also found out that Azariah had given birth to his brother's child. Unwilling to dispose of a "chosen one", he allowed Lynett to stay in the mansion provided that no one learns about it. Over the years, he grew suspicious of her. Eventually, he confronted her about it and negotiated a deal.

Nora Whiteheart - Human (chapter 4): Jack's sister, Lynett and Aoban's aunt. Spoiled at a very young age, she grew to be extremely conceited. As a female member of the family, she was meant to be married off but due to her poor character, all her engagements were broken, resulting in her becoming even more spiteful. She has the habit of tormenting the servants, especially Azariah, as she despises non-human races. Not very fond of children either, she openly showed her comptempt toward Lynett. However, after directly clashing with her, she was forced to keep her distances with Azariah and Aoban.
Lloyd Whiteheart - Human (first mentionned in chapter 4): The previous Marquis of Eskor and head of the Whiteheart Household. Jack and Nora's eldest brother, Lynett and Aoban's father, Azariah's Lover. Went missing after the attack on the family a few months prior the story. Presumed dead.

Upon discovering about her identity, he unsuccessfully tried to gain her favor by serving her, until his son started to look for him. As Lynett found him, he was forced to return to the city. He was later captured by slaver in a futile attempt to save his wife, and started a rebellion, encouraging the slaves to uprise by spreading Aileen's name.
Yoko - Divine (chapter 9): The Goddess of Lust and Mischief. One of the Originals. A Mid Goddess who settled next to Eskor, the Capital city of Agraal, after being attracted by Lynett's mana. Her presence created a strong miasma which transformed her surroundings into an enchanted forest. Lynett later entrusted her the mission to protect her mother and watch her uncle.
Harri - Divine (chapter 11): The God of Love and Chivalry. One of the Originals. A Mid God who came to Eskor, also attracted by Lynett's mana. They used to be especially close when she was younger, until she started to become withdrawn. After her death, he supported her parents the best he could. He is the only witness to what happened to Jonas.
David Woods - Human (chapter 20): Aileen's father. Born as the eldest of eight children in a catholic family, his parents were not very supportive of his marriage, his wife being not only a divorcee but also an atheist. He ended up cutting all ties with them as they became more and more toxic. He was a very doting father. When his daughter got sick and later fell into depression, he did everything he could to support her and help her get through it, soon neglecting his own personal time and becoming physically exhausted. After her death, he grieved her for a year before deciding to leave the city with his wife.
Helen Woods - Human (chapter 20): Aileen's mother. Very much like her husband, she loved their daughter more than anything else and did everything she could to try to save her. She has a very hard time to get over her death, and is still unable to move on.

A year after her death, as he was helping her parents to pack things, he was summoned to Erthia.
Agatha Kelly - Human (chapter 21): Chief secretary of the Arcane Academy.

Lukas Whiteheart - Human (chapter 22): Lynett and Aoban's cousin from their father's side, Jack's son. Unlike his father, he seems very friendly to Lynett and Aoban, and doesn't seem to hold prejudices against other races, or other social classes. He does not know his father very well as they only meet a couple of times every year. He grew outside of Eskor, in a secondary mansion with his mother and his elder sister.
Teka - Demi-human (chapter 23): A demi-human boy Lynett met at the Arcane Academy the day she arrived, as he was seemingly being bullied by upperclassmen, among whom there was Aoban. Vivian - Human (chapter 27): Apprentice mage. Lynett's first friend in the Academy and first member in her team. Her magical attribute is Water. She is the illegitimate daughter of the Duke Rutherder and a maid of the house. Despite being a bastard and a girl, her father enrolled her to the Academy after finding out she had potential in magic. Known to be a dead-weight however, her growth as a mage was hindered by her inborn skill [Hijack], which prevents her to create magic out of nothing, until Lynett taught her how to properly control the existing mana in her environment. She defeated Lucius in a duel.

While he is considered the best of his class, his mana control is actually worse than his peers. It is his bigger mana pool that allows him to cast what seems to be powerful spells. She first appears as Yoko's pet in chapter 9 and officially introduced in chapter 37, where she become's Lynett's familiar after forming a contract with her. Like most spirits, she does not dwell well with humans and Yoko's influence did not help in developing her sociability. Blaze
The story of a fire elemental's life in a world dominated by mages. He will have to learn how to manage betrayals, treachery, and maybe even love as he goes on adventures to find a meaning to it all. From dark, humble beginnings he will rise... or fall, devastating amounts in his journey across the world. Hello, Author here! I am, unfortunately, rather terrible at coming up with descriptions that seem to have the right amount of decorum and yet actually serve their function of adequately describing the story, so here's the coursenotes. - The story follows a fire elemental. (As you can tell from that, it is heavily besed on fantasy with mages and the like. Technology will not feature prominently) -As mentioned in the tags, this will have game-like aspects. (E.G. levels, stats. I will be trying to put my own twist on this notion however, so bear with me if the premise intrests you but you despise LitRpg) -It'll get rather dark, but not devastatingly so. (I'm trying to write a more complex story so it will have its dark moments, the prologue being one of them. Rest assured the whole story will not be this dark, though I'll make sure that no-one is a saint either) -The protagonist/protagonists will not be a Mary-Sue. (The plural will be understood when I'm further into the story. They also won't be impossiby unlikeable such as those in many Light novels.) -There is no prophecy (Anyone who says there is, is lying, trust me.)
