Hello Everyone.
This post is intended to be a general discussion and annoucement post, where I write important information about the story's devellopements and changes. I will also answer questions if you have some (as long as they are not too spoilery for the story, or innapropriate).
Chapters average word count : Around 4000 to 5000 words.
Story status : ONGOING [Kind of on hold] (No hiatus planned - Real life and work are in the way - Expect delays).
Author's Comment(s) : Well I'm kind of drowning in work right now so you know... Real life and all. Definitly not dead though. I can promise. Really! I swear!

Posting timetable & schedule :
At the start of my story, I did try to keep a regular schedule about when I would post chapters. This did not work out well and ended up putting pressure on me, resulting in stressful situations when I had periods of "writter's block". It also made me pump out chapters that should have been kept being worked on. As such, I will only post my chapters when I am satisfied with them, and not because of time constraints. As a rule of thumb, and if no special annoucements have been made, expect a maximum of 1 month [Unknown] between each chapters. I am aware that, for the moment, I have been working faster than this, but I prefer to set the bar low, so that my readers are not disapointed if real life issues (which I put priority on) force me to stop writting for a while.
Proof-reading and Editing :
All the proof-reading, editing, spell-checks and grammar checks are done by me and me only. Even if English is not my native language, I am a bit "OCD" on errors. As such, if you spot a mistake, do not hesitate to point it out to me in the comments of the chapter concerned. After all, I am only human, and I do happen to miss some at nearly every chapter, even after having re-read it at least 9 times before posting.

Special Announcements :
Rewrite done. See "Rewrite" section below. Bonus Chapters will be done every 5 chapters, under the form of database entries in XSS-MK1's mind. They will contain acccessory, but sometimes important, information about the world around her and its lore (based on what she encounters). The goal is to provide an interesting format to what would normally be an unceremonious info-dump that would break the flow of the main story and make it unreadable. Added poll to this thread in order to improve it.
Rewrite :
As some of the old readers may know, I rewrotte this story from the ground up when it was 9 chapters in, because I had gone about it wrong, without any ground work beforehand, which resulted in a MESS (let's call it what it was).
Story-wise, these 9 old chapters correspond to the now first 10 chapters of the story. These old chapters are not accessible, unfortunatly, and I haven't found a way to do so, while still keeping them out of the table of content. So... sorry. I will see if I can put them right there below in spoiler tags when I have some time. But not for the moment, as the spoiler tags are finecky, and not really easy to use at this time.

The legend also says that Lilith was a demoness who fled from Heaven and was granted mercy when she showed humility and proved that her soul was still worthy of saving despite all her wrongdoings. What if, after centuries of sinning, Lilith finally found her way back to kindness? What if God forgave Lilith for her crimes? What if she gave birth to a baby after she had repented? And what if that baby is the only human soul in existence that isn’t tainted by the Forbidden Fruit or her past sins? Tallitanya of Lilith inherited her mother’s immortality and grew up at a rate much slower than an average human so she had witnessed the rise and fall of empires even though she is physically and mentally 21 years old. She was born on Earth, but she moved to Heaven when she was physically 5 years old and didn’t return until she was 18 years old. She was tasked, by God himself, to guard over the Forbidden Tree which had since been replanted on an isolated island on Earth. She loves that job, and she loves that she was given direct instructions instead of having to figure out what God’s so-called ‘mysterious plans’ for her was. Centuries went by. Tallitanya is 21 years old when the Final Judgement is nigh. As an immortal who has yet to have a real affiliation with Heaven or Hell, Tallitanya has received a personal invitation from the Antichrist who wishes to recruit Tallitanya. Heaven also sends its angel – Michael – to inform Tallitanya that as a human, her soul would also be judged by God. She was ordered to leave her post as the Forbidden Tree’s guardian so that she could get to know the other humans before she makes an actual decision about who she wants to align herself with. The second she steps out of the island, it disappears. Turns out, her message from God was faked, and so was her mission. The devil had tricked her, and as the guardian of the Forbidden Tree, she must recover the tree and the island, or humanity will perish within the year.
