Hey guys....Gah I've been dreading getting on here and typing this message out for months. No worries though, this isn't the infamous 'Im done' speech. Far from it, and for those of you who still care I am NOT quiting this novel. But to kind of give you guys an update on what's been going on in my life and let ya know....I'm not dead lol.

At the end of last year my computer had a meltdown and after I finally got it all fixed and retrieved all the old files and what not the 2 new chapters I had been working on at that time had pretty much all been erased. Good news though is that all my old chapters and everything were ok, but those latest two chapters pretty much only like 4 roughly started scenes had been saved.

So after the next month or so I should finally be done with all my training at my new position and just by judging from my schedule I should be able to jump back into writing more sometime after that time. I'm not sure how the new format is going to look, but simply put the newer chapters wont be quite as long but still maintain that level of detail. And that is as much for you guys as it is for me, because I will have more of an adaptability to just try out scenes with you guys and not wait for lonnngggggg periods of time trying to figure out how to fit certain things together. Mostly just a a couple to 3 scenes each I'm thinking.

I've actually been steadily working on past chapters for the last several months and even sent the first book to an editor of sorts and got tons of notes back. Enough that I have been putting a lot of effort into that and learning new ways to sort of change my writing style a bit. More of the show, don't tell as much while also gaining a lot of insight on making the flow of the story much more entertaining....Lot's of things will change when I attepmt to turn this into novel, things ive already explained before from when certain events take place, characters get introduced so its not too jam packed at the beginning and even some characters like Elyria will get changed here too most likely....She wont be so much like an anime typical character but more of a very seasoned, mature warrior/shamman who was just shamed and at the end of her rope before Vali and her met. She will be more serious and I guess in a way for humor the only thing that Vali is sort of afraid of angering in this novel. I doubt I'll post the newer versions of the firs book on here but idk, the 2nd book and onward I will be using this site for oppinions on scenes and gaging the audience about certain places I take the plot, but whenever this gets in book form expect the LONNGGGG detailed and drawn out version. But ive also learned of ways to simply certain things to make the read more rhythmic and enjoyable hopefully.

But after the next month I should be a little more acclimated into my schedule to try and start writing out some chapters again, though I don't have a definitive answer of what date exactly just yet. But i'll have much more freetime than before. I'll probably start working on those 4 scenes that weren't completley erased and kind of see how writing shorter chapters with just a couple scenes with them go. For those of you who are curious the 4 scenes I still have from the last two chapters are:

1 scene is just Loki going on a trolling adventure in the Demon continent before he met up with Vali in the last chapter and you get to see him meet, well just say a very important character and you get to see these two heavy weights with a lot of old world knowledge interact.

2nd scene you get to meet a Hero or 2 and introductions to a new rival character that is not a Hero but super powerful and of the younger generation and get to see their gang in the Central continent and find out their plans that will be taking them away from the Central continent to eventually meet Vali and the group.

3 scene that got saved was Vali and co towards the end of the 2nd chapter going to Aldain's fortress city where you finally get to see Vali 'snap' and well do something I'm sure many readers have been anticipating was inevitably going to happen for a longggggg time and get a very awesome....'To be continued' afterwards.

4th scene we get to see the Elves and their nation and what they are up to and kinda see what happened with that army of fomorians and dark elves and sort of an event that cascades the plot of this next novel.

For those of you who have commented in past chapters for me, messaged me on here, rated my fiction or even emailed me....I'm sorry i haven't gone through those messages yet. I will try to get to them all sometime soon, I'll probably use them as a means for motivation for writing out new stuff...Like I said i didnt even get on here becasue I knew it would make me depressed reading all the messages/emails from fans on here without being able to give them any good news at the time. But hopefully this will let ya guys know I'm not dead nor am I out...Give me some time here soon and I should start bringing you guys some of the good stuff again.
