In the Beginning:
Kayle Shaw never lived the easy life. A child born from rape into an unlucky home, he seemed to be born into a world that constantly tormented him. Forced to grow up and take care of his two younger siblings at an early age he never got to experience a childhood of running and playing with his friends.
After years of drugs and abuse from men Kayle’s mother eventually overdosed and left this world, leaving her children behind. Kayle eventually dropped out of school and picked up odd jobs to be able to support his family. Saving every dime and even skipping his own meals if it meant to be able to support the two he cherished most. He would wake up early in the morning and run to work as to not spend money on the bus, on break run back to cook for his younger brother and sister while getting them both ready for school, then would run on to his next job while occasionally being drawn into a fight by local thugs.
He learned early on what it meant to survive, what it meant to take care of himself as well as others while growing up in the slums. After seeing how the world treats people of low class Kayle learned to never take crap from anyone.....ever! Constantly being pushed into fights with local gangs and loan sharks he learned to fight at quite the young age. He learned rather quickly that if you give scum like that an inch in this world they would never stop walking all over you. Kayle couldn’t afford to let that happen.

Due to his unnatural strength and reflexes for his age, he would never leave with more than a few bruises, even when surrounded by multiple attackers, while everyone else left with concussions and broken limbs. Thus, leaving the local gangs in astonishment how a child could cause so much damage. It was a life built up of hard work and his fists. It wasn’t the easiest life, but it was a life he had accepted.
After saving and saving he even eventually rounded up enough money to buy his two younger siblings a new gaming system this year and a brand new RPG game known as Divine and Conquer Online. A massive MMORPG game where an individual can become 1 of 100s of different races and use 1000s of different types of magic and skills to take your character and ultimately reach the God’s. With a max level of 300 and an almost infinite amount of ways to customize your player the game was already receiving a large amount of awards and nominations for its lengthy and elaborate gameplay.
Though Kayle was never a gamer it was the one thing his younger siblings asked for, for their birthdays. “All children deserve to have a happy childhood”.....he thought. He and his siblings enjoyed playing the game together with their respective characters and eventually received recognition as some of the games top players through their accomplishments. After defeating the legendary boss monster Azriel “The Arch Angel of Death” with only 3 players, shock spread around the gaming net as this was said to be a monster that the top guilds and raiding teams couldn't even manage to get his health down into the yellow. A monster that the developers had even considered to nerf prior to this defeat as he was considered to be too overpowered.

After the bosses defeat was widely spread, the game’s creator who always remained out of the public eye decided to find and award these 3 players with a super special gift!!
Life was moving forward until one fateful evening Kayle returned home to find the shocking horror of something his eyes couldn’t believe. The apartment building he and his siblings lived in was being engulfed in a monstrous amount of flames torching even the neighboring buildings. It was an overwhelming heat that forced the fire department to barricade everyone away from the surrounding area as they themselves couldn’t even seem to put it out this unquenchable fire let alone get near it. Having made the decision immediately Kayle couldn’t stand still while his siblings could be trapped inside. Leaping over the barricades and rushing into the inferno he’d gladly tread into hell if it meant protecting his family. Running through each floor through severely thick smoke smoke and blazing atmosphere, Kayle ignored the unknown pain he had never experienced until now. Due to the thickness of the smoke he could not even see through to check on the state of his own body. His skin could have been singed to the bone but he wouldn’t know. It’s not like it mattered to him anyway.
Finally arriving at his residences door and busting through to his apartment he was surprised to find the flames hadn’t reached his residence but an overwhelming smell that masked the smoke from earlier hit his nostrils. The smell was rancid, it definitely was not the smoke. Not knowing if that was the smell of his own flesh melting off or not he advanced through the dark cloudy hallway to see a bright unusual light coming from his siblings bedroom. Entering into the bedroom the three shared is when he saw it..........two bulky figures with large protruding horns from their foreheads and laughing in a crazed almost unearthly tone standing over the small charred remains of his dear younger brother......
