《Lia and Lara will seek the One Piece》Chapter 92, Arc 5

Lara's POV;
Ah fuck me, it was hard to wound him before he activated his Zoan Fruit. Then it got really annoying to inflict damage and now I have to fight against him when he has access to his awakened form?
Clown has changed into a massive monstrosity. Chopper looks like a giant, at least 40-metre tall elk-human, but this is more like Godzilla. He's towering over the houses with ease, probably stopping at the height of 30 metres. Razor sharp, car-sized claws, scale plates as thick as my leg, which also covers the whole body, stomach included. A tail that is easily the length of a bus and thicker than a tree trunk.
The thing roared and its voice alone was strong enough to shake and rattle the buildings. I had little hope that he isn't able to control this form. He wouldn't have done changed if he's a loose cannon now.
It's large head looked down and spotted me, the snout stretched into a grin and with extreme speed, his tail whipped out and hit me. I got blasted through houses as if they were made out of paper and continued until I left the island proper.
I flew over the edge of Enies Lobby and finally managed to move, bouncing off of the ground is quite distracting. I took a few geppos to steady myself and noted, with some concern, that this single attack bruised the whole front of my body. Only the Haki and high endurance stopped my bones from breaking.
From my position I could see that the Tower of Justice was damaged, Chopper must have done his thing already. Parts of the island were burning, most likely thanks to Fiara. Another large section on the east was a wasteland with large craters. A small figure was hovering above, must be Lia. I could also see how the massive form of Clown was stomping closer to the edge.
It swiped its large clawed hands at me and ten massive force blades flew at me, more attacks followed closely behind. They grew into massive force blades that easily reached high into the sky. The large distance made it rather easy to evade them, even if the high amount of them was ridiculous.
I'm not yet ready to reveal my angel form, so I have to come up with something different. Thankfully, Fiara has made something for me that I can now test.
I took a large metal tube out of my inventory and placed a bullet inside. Then I aimed at the massive form of the Awakened pangolin. I started to agitate the molecules in the tube and generated an electric current.
Within seconds the tube was sparking and glowing from the energy, then I stopped the containment and the metal bullet got accelerated by the makeshift gauss-rifle. It shot out of the tube, broke almost instantly through the barrier of sound and impacted with the pangolin before I could blink.
A loud pained roar told me that I at least hit him. The force blades have stopped as well, which allowed me to get closer. A soru brought me close enough to spot the clown guy. He was holding his left arm. My bullet has hit him close to the shoulder and punctured right through him. A small hole was on the front, but a good chunk was ripped out of the exit wound.
To my annoyance, however, I could already see how the wound stopped bleeding. It won't heal rapidly, but this injury is hardly stopping him.
His tail shot out again, still as fast as before, but now I knew his speed. It missed me narrowly and I placed a hand on it. This time I did not let it vibrate but started to stop any molecular movement. Frost began to form on it, but he retracted the tail before I could freeze any deeper than the scales.

“Now die Slicer!” His voice was an almost inhuman deep roar. The next second I had to evade a claw that was longer than I am tall. It cleaved a large trench in the ground that destroyed a nearby house.
I hit at the claw with the palm of my hand, trying to break it off with an enhanced punch, but it did not break. The claw was Haki enhanced and harder than steel. Suddenly, his tail was back and stroke out at me from behind. At the same time, he punched at me with his other arm.
I ducked under the tail and pushed both my arms forward and gave him a double palm strike into the stomach. He got pushed backwards and missed me. I knew that I have to follow up, so I got close to him and hit the right side of his left knee.
My hand was vibrating so strongly that it blurred. And these vibrations travelled over to his bones.
The knee bent into a direction that it wasn't meant to. It was also the same leg that I had attacked before he activated his Awakened form. With a snap, it broke and was no longer able to carry the massive weight of his body.
He fell down on his other knee and tried to lash out at me with his tail. But I was prepared and grabbed the appendage. I used it to bring myself at eye level with him and clapped my hands together, with his head in the middle.
Naturally, I had enhanced the attack. The shock wave travelled through his ears, ripped his eardrums apart, and continued to wreak havoc on his brain. His eyes popped out of its sockets and with a deep rumble of his throat he fell forward.
Not sure if he was dead or not I decided to play save and formed my hand into a spear. I let it vibrate as fast as I can and pushed into the back of his neck. The scales were giving resistance, but slowly got grounded to dust.
Normal steel, stone or flesh would have been eradicated instantly. There is only one stronger thing I can use and that is a work in progress. This spear attack is leaving my arm useless for the next five minutes, that's why I haven't used it already.
I didn't know if his scales could resist it. Now I am glad that I did not try, he would have had enough time to stop me from breaking through. But now that he is immobile I had enough time to pierce through the scales and behead him.
Took me almost five seconds to finish. But then I finished cutting off his head and I was sure that he is dead. No normal Zoan will survive a beheading. Awakened or not.
I left out a deep sigh and stretched. My body was sore from the few hits he got in and my head hurt from the mental exhaustion I get whenever I am healing myself. I really could have needed a mace or some similar weapon against his scales.
Well, he's dead and I am only tired, thanks to my Angel Fruit. With it, I would have had to take him on in a very different way.
Anyway, I should meet back up with Lia and make an assessment of the situation. The Buster Call will soon be at the door of Enies Lobby.
With a quick jump, I was in the air and on my way over to the still hovering form of my Lia. I got close to her and saw that she was looking towards the horizon, her arms outstretched and a look of concentration on her face.

I looked at the same direction and could see some large silhouettes coming out closer to us. Seems like it is time. Not long after they made their presence known by firing the first shot at the fence. The sea stone enforced barrier got engulfed in a massive fire explosion and ten large super-sized battleships sailed through the hole.
They started to get into position when I noticed something strange happening around one of the ships. The sail was perfectly still and the ship has stopped moving. Wind began to blow around the ship, forming a twister. It formed into a ball and hid the ship from view.
Then the twister got sucked into itself. The ship that was in the middle was now only a ball of metal and wood, highly compressed and no longer any threat.
“What was that?” I asked curiously. There was one ship less and they haven't even shot at us once.
Lia took a deep breath and smiled at me. “I generated an enclosed vacuum around their ship. I then let it rotate, which sucked the air out of the inside and caused a negative pressure on the outside. Once the difference in pressure was high enough I stopped the vacuum and rotation. The air from the outside began to fill the hole and compressed anything in its way, namely the ship. It's the reverse version of my pressure bombs.”
“Hmm, any luck that there was a Vice Admiral on board?”, I asked with a hum. Killing one of the five present might not be good for the future story. But Ace is now too close to be captured, they won't make a difference.
She nodded before answering. “There was one, but he switched the ship before the sphere fully formed. He's now on board of one of his comrades.” She then gestured to the entrance gate, “Jonny and Yosaku have just finished with their fight. I think Jonny is wounded.”
Both of us began our track to their position and saw that they were surrounded by an never stopping attack of Marine soldiers and World Government agents. They were holding their own with ease, but Jonny was a lot slower than normal and Yosaku's swings more sluggish. As if his arms weren't responding fast enough.
We touched down next to them and the Marines halted their advance. “It's Slicer Lara and True Shot Lia!” Shouted one of them.
“Hey Lia, Lara, what's up?”, greeted Jonny with a wave of his hand and a weak smile. His chest was bloody and I could see a cut that runs along his whole front side. Nothing instantly deadly, but he shouldn't strain himself any further.
“Jonny, you are out of the fighting until you can get healed. I don't want you getting knocked out by blood loss,” I ordered and he nodded in acceptance. Not happy, but complying.
“What happened?”, asked Lia next. The Marines were still unsure of what to do. Seems like they have no real chain of command. The highest ranked officer looks to be a Lieutenant and then the agents of the World Government.
“Some strong swordfighter attacked us. He wore a mask like the clown guy. Had a Devil Fruit that could generate shields. I had to take a hit so that Yosaku could give one in return,” summarised Jonny. He had stepped back a bit so that only us three were facing the enemy.
“The others continued on. We don't know what happened to them. Fiara took off on her own and started to test out her new weapons.” Added Yosaku.
“Good, we are going to fetch Fiara. You three will leave the island with a Marine ship. Lara and I will go and meet up with the rest. They are on a part of the island where you three can't reach them.” Lia's instruction was received with a nod from both of them.
Lia raised a finger and pointed it at the closest agent. “Let's take care of the Marines and then start our search for Fiara.” She pushed her finger forward and an air bullet hit the poor, and now dead, guy. His head popped like an overripe grape.
I myself drew one of my daggers and cut once in a diagonal arc. The generated force blade took care of anyone who was too slow to evade by ducking or jumping over the deadly blade of air. It was faster and larger than normal, something that I have to thank Lia for. She was empowering the attack beyond the normal result.
Suddenly another force blade came from my side and cut into more soldiers. It was Lia and she was holding a fan in her hand. “By the way, Lara, I found two interesting weapons. A pair of fans, the weasel girl used them and tried to hit me with rankyaku and other force blades. Our matchup was the worst possible for her. Each attack she has had tried was a direct result of wind pressure.”
I winced in false sympathy. This Mia, as the clown has called her, had no chance at all. Her only way to win would have been a direct cut at Lia and my wife wouldn't have let her close enough to even take a real swing.
“They are too strong, retreat!” The fearful order that came from one of the Marines caused the rest of them to follow his example and they started to run away.
I was just about to send an attack after them when a large explosion hit them and either ripped them to shreds or burned them to crisps. The Buster Call was close enough to shoot. And they were not taking any friendly fire into consideration.
Jonny and Yosaku were looking puzzled at the sudden explosion. “From where came that?” Asked Yosaku. He and Jonny were looking at the sky for any more cannonballs and Lia did so too. She spotted one and quickly shot it out of the sky.
“The Buster Call was ordered and has just arrived. Lia already destroyed one of their ships, so only nine super-sized warships are here with the order to destroy this island and anyone on it.” I answered. From all around me I could hear the sound of massive explosions, caused by cannonballs with the size of my body.
“Only nine, if it's nothing else....” muttered Yosaku with a slightly hysterical tone.
“Don't be such a baby, they won't hit us as long as Lia keeps an eye on the sky. While she holds them off we can look for Fiara. Which shouldn't be too hard,” said Jonny with a weak laugh. He also pointed at the still slightly burning and black street that led away from our position. Fiara must have started here.
I turned around and looked at our two sword fighters, before placing a hand on Jonny's chest to heal him. “Then lets get going. You three will have to meet up with the rest of the Galley-La and Franky Family. They will help you with the Marine Ship that can take you away. The rest of us will have to go to the Bridge of Justice. The Straw Hats, Noa, Nojiko and Jo are there.
Lia and I have to use geppo to get there, you three can't pass the currents and I don't think that going through an underground tunnel is a good idea with a bombardment like this.”
Now with Jonny healed we followed Fiara's path of destruction.

Genre: Action, Adventure, Medieval Apocalypse, Times Loops, Progression, War & Fantasy, Grimdark, Magic, Horror, LitRPG (but RP). Tone: Despair at the firsts chapters (which makes sense for a story that begins with the end of the world, doesn't it?), and lots of humor and stupid situations after to lighten the tone of the story. (Oh, and the MC is NOT a psychopath, a rapist, a hypocrite, or human garbage, so sorry for those who like that, because I don't like that). Note: Expect this story to contain grammatical errors and occasional random conjugations. I am learning English, and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have some gaps. So if you're allergic to it, don't read this story, you would inevitably be disappointed.
