Lara's POV;

Lucci turned his towering body towards me. The massive frame of his changed Zoan body would have needed to duck somewhat under the ceiling if there was one left. Thanks to Lia he was able to stand at his full height of maybe four or five metres.

So far neither Lia nor I had left our position from the start. We had only watched the drama and then took care that none of our crew would be too wounded. They fought well for their first try with their new weapons.

“Well then, time to face you Slicer Lara and True Shot Lia”, announced Lucci. He was confident in his abilities to beat us. But I knew that he would not be able to. He might be strong enough to beat most of my crew, maybe three or four at the same time, depending on whom he is fighting. But definitely not me and Lia.

The soru he used right after his declaration may have brought him close to us, but it was not an unnoticed approach like he was used to. Both of us were easily able to follow him with our eyes. His followed shigan was fast and strong, but by far not enough to surprise us.

I grabbed his arm and stopped his attack from reaching me. He tried to get out of my grip but noticed that he wasn't able to. My strength was overpowering his own. “ You are a little too arrogant, some humility might be good for you,” I told and punched him once.

He did activate his tekkai, but it too wasn't enough. My attack had a slight Haki enhancement and was strong enough to break his defence. He got flung backwards and would have been sent out like Luffy and Zoro if someone new hadn't caught him by the scruff of his neck.

“You should choose your opponents more carefully,” advised the newcomer. He wore a mask like the CP9 were doing a few minutes ago, his was that of a laughing and crying clown. He was a male, wearing a black World Government suit and had a strong body built.

“Clown,” growled Lucci. It was the only thing he said in acknowledgement of this new guys presence.

“You guys are taking too long, so I came to get you. Good thing I did. None of you has a chance against either of the twins. You should have taken Iceburg the moment you knew of their presence”, admonished this Clown guy.

He threw Lucci off to his CP9 comrades and faced me and my sister fully. “A pleasure to meet you, Twin Elves of the Kage pirates. I apologise for the insolent whelp that though he is able to fight you.” Lucci growled in anger by the mocking of his comrade. There definitely was no friendship between the two.

Clown bowed but it was only a distraction. He used his lowered body for a sprinting start and then used a soru that was way faster than Lucci's. His leg swung down at my neck and I knew that this one too was way stronger than the kick Lucci used against the Straw Hats, Jonny and Yosaku.

I coated my arm in Haki and blocked the kick. It sends a shock wave behind me that made my and Lia's hair flutter in the wind and also destroyed at least three rooms behind us.

Nami and Chopper, the only two Straw Hats left were shocked at the destructive power of this seemingly normal kick. But I knew that this Clown guy has used Haki as well. He was way above the CP9 agents.

His smiling and crying mask looked at me, his eyes were green and showed amusement. I looked up at him, bored from the greeting. I knew that this guy was stronger than this and that he was only playing around.

We stayed in this position for a moment, his body wasn't moving and his leg was still putting some pressure on my arm. Then he turned his head to the CP9 agents, who had helped Lucci up. “What are you waiting for. Get out and regroup with the others,” the order was followed by Blueno, who opened a door in the air. They left and the door closed, making it impossible for us to follow him.

“Well then, a pity that you decided to take part in this. Because of you, I had to step in and now have to clean the mess that the CP9 left”, he said and jumped back to the destroyed wall that leads out of the mansion.

“Maybe we will see each other again. [Distant Shigan]!” His finger shot forward twice, the attack was quick and all of us got ready to defend, but it was not aimed at us. It hit Iceburg and Paulie in the chest and pierced their hearts.

“There, all cleaned up. Now no one will believe you. Farewell Kage pirates.” Clown jumped back and vanished in the night with a mixture of geppo and soru.

We relaxed our guard, but none of us put their weapons away.

“Oh no, they will die!” cried Chopper suddenly. He was standing in his small form over Iceburg and tried desperately to save him.

“Nope, can't have a whole city after us”, I denied his claim and activated my own Zoan fruit. A white halo formed over my head and my body began to slightly glow, but I stopped the wings from forming.

I then tapped both men on the forehead and activated the healing powers of the Angel fruit. Their bodies glowed in a whitish light and each wound began to close, the bruising vanished and broken bones mended.

I stopped the transformation of my fruit after healing them and watched with amusement how Chopper was gapping at me and rambling about the impossibility of what has happened. However, he was brought out of his shock when both men began to wake up and cough. They spit some blood out, which was left from their wounds, and sat up with a dazed expression.

“What? He pierced my heart. I knew I would die, how am I alive and without any wounds whatsoever?” Questioned Iceburg us. He was touching his chest in wonder and tried to find the wounds that were no longer there.

I deflected the question and made him focus on something that was more important. “Not important now. The CP9 had someone that helped them, they left and are going to find this Cutty Flam. Any idea who that is?”

“Franky! They are out to get Franky!” Shouted Iceburg in shocked worry. He stood up and was about to leave when I held him back.

“First we have to get out of this mansion. It's burning and the floor will not hold us much longer”, I told him.

“Who are you?” he asked back but stopped trying to get out of the room.

“Lara, my crew and I are helping the Straw Hats getting their answer. Now hold still, my sister will get us out of the burning building”, I answered and gave Lia a glance. She nodded and applied a counter pressure on all of us. With a wink of her hand, we lifted off of the ground. She then manipulated the wind on our body to make us fly out of the building.

We touched down on the guarded and were instantly surrounded by the shipwrights of the Galley-La. “Look it's Iceburg and Paulie. The girl from the Straw Hats and some strange guys are with them!” Shouted one of them.

Many began to point their weapons at us but were called down by Iceburg. “Don't, these guys saved Paulie's and my life. The Straw Hats are not responsible for the attack. They and their friends helped me.”

Now that they knew that we aren't a treat they continue to douse the flames. It gave Iceburg the time to take us to the side to speak with us.

We sat down near a tree and Iceburg began to tell us his encounter with Nico Robin. How he accused her of wanting to resurrect the warship Pluton. And how she told him that Robin only wants to learn the history behind the ship.

He said that her knowledge alone would be enough to destroy the world, but Robin wasn't caring. And then he told us why she was doing this, why she was helping the World Government.

Everything was for the Straw Hats, she was fearing the Buster Call. An order that would send ten warships and five Vice Admirals to them with the order to destroy everything, even a whole island.

She knew or was thinking, that the World Government would order a Buster Call on the Straw Hats if she would not agree to come with them. So that is why she decided to leave the Straw Hats, in order to protect them. And the payment for that protection would be her own life.

Both Nami and Chopper were relieved to hear that. They instantly jumped up to get Zoro and Luffy and tell them of these good news.

They were just about to run off when Iceburg called out to them. “Wait, you'll need to catch the Sea Train. It will be the only way for the World Government to leave this island at this point in time. They will drive directly to Enies Lobby, from where it will be impossible to get Nico Robin back.” he advised.

“When is it going to leave and what time is it?” Asked Nami quickly, eager to run and find the rest of her friends.

“It will leave at 11 pm and it's 10:30 pm. You only have half an hour to get to the train.

“Chopper, you'll go search Luffy and Zoro in the area where they were sent flying. I will try and convince Robin to stay.” Ordered Nami the small reindeer, Chopper saluted.

They were just about to run off again when they were stopped. This time by Paulie. He addressed the workers of the Galley-La. “Guys, help this girl and the tanuki. They saved me and Iceburg and in return, we will help them get their friend back!”

The workers were shouting their agreement and a bunch of them quickly began to get the needed Yagara Bulls for the trip.

Nami thanked Paulie and rushed off to get on board a Yagara Bull, Paulie followed her.

"Nojiko, Fiara and Noa, go help Nami, she might need some help. Jonny, Yosaku, you two can help searching for Luffy and Zoro. Call us if you find them. Lia and I will go to the train station as well.” I ordered. They too jumped into motion and quickly caught up with Nami and Chopper.

Lia and I jumped into the air and made our way to the train station as well. We reached it quickly and were able to see how the CP9 agents, as well as Clown and another guy, a woman with the mask of a weasel, stood next to him.

Blueno was carrying Ussop and Franky, while Clown had another person on his back. It was our very own doctor, Jo.

“Jo is wounded, they must have beaten him up to get him”, told Lia me with an angry frown on her face. That means that these people just have made this personal.

“I'll get him, you'll distract them.”

I dropped down and coated my feet in Haki. Both masked CP agents felt me before I landed and evaded me. The others reacted to their comrades and followed their example.

I crashed into the concrete floor and instantly used a maximal speed soru to get to Clown. He was fast enough to react and twisted out of my path. Yet I was quick enough to react and used my new dagger to pierce his stomach. The vibrating blade would have cut almost anything.

And he might have felt the danger because he did not try to block it with tekkai. He bent forward and made room for the dagger. But that brought his face down at my height. He tried to protect this weakness by swinging a fist at me.

I, however, never planned in fighting him for real. I ignored the incoming hit and coated the part where he will hit me with my strongest Armament Haki, before making a grab at Jo.

Clown was too far into his swing to stop me from getting my hands on Jo, so he increased the speed of his attack further and added his own Haki. It didn't give him the flame-like pattern, which made it weaker than mine.

He hit my chest and I was flung backwards, still, I got what I was aiming for. Jo was in my arms and Lia began to let pebbles rain down on them.

“Go on the train, we will hold her back!” Shouted Clown. He drew two Kukris from his back. Weasel was in the meantime deflecting the incoming pebbles from Lia by hitting them away.

“See you later Clown,” I said and jumped into the air. He tried to stop me, but Lia focused her attacks on him, which forced him down to the ground. Once I was at Lia's height we left with a series of geppo.

A few hundred metres away we saw that they were not following us, so we stopped and watched them depart.

“Sanji is on the train, he used our attack to sneak inside,” informed Lia me when we saw how our crew and Nami found an empty train station.

“That's good. Let's go back to the HQ of the Galley-La,” I said and we flew back.
