I appeared in the same black world I already have had seen after my death as Clair. I myself found myself to be a green ball of, don't know what. The thing is I was dead, the seal worked and the Mass Effect universe will have to live with a solar system less.

I pressed the yes button about my memories and then thought about the Soul-link, a Soul-link is probably the connection I need or have with Kura-chan.

“System, show Soul-links!”, I commanded and the Soul-link window came up, it's just that I didn't like what I could see.

“Well shit, that can't be. System, call admin?”, I asked. Maybe I could speak with God and convince him that I need my wife for many interesting adventures?

For a short moment nothing happened and then the music of a waiting line droned throughout the black void. I tapped my none existent foot in annoyance at the music, it then suddenly stopped.

“Yo?”, asked a bored voice.

“Hi, I'm one of the guys you picked up and threw into a fantasy world with a few wishes for their life. That was, at least for me, some 19.000 years ago”, I said hastily.

“Yo”, said the voice, now a little less bored.

“I wanted to ask if it is possible to use the remaining four wishes I had left over?”, I shot out, better being fast and honest than speaking around the bush and making him more bored.

“Yo”, he said affirmatively.

“I don't want to continue without her”, I answered, slightly depressed and hopeful.

“Hmm, okay, sure. Your first two thousand years and the last 4 thousand were quite interesting. The constant reading was boring, but the occasional visit into a different universe made up for it. I especially liked what you did in Mass Effect”, he said in agreement and I felt a wave of relieve wash over me.

“Thanks a lot. Okay then, I wish to have my wife, Kurama, as a Soul-link. This Soul-link is only going to be breakable after both of our deaths with our consent. I will also be able to establish Soul-links with others if they agree”, I quickly said and waited a moment until a window showed me that my current Soul-link count was up to one and that the soul link was named Orange.

“Done, anything else?”, he asked.

“Yes, there was one more thing, I wish to have 5.000 points for the bonus whenever we reincarnate. The prices are not to go up from that and these 5.000 will have to stack on top of any points we already have”, I said. This way we will be able to have a lazy life without worrying about the next one. And it's always nice to be op if you want to.

“Done, I take it that's it?”, he said, already knowing that I didn't have more.

“Yes, that's all”, I confirmed.

“Good, in return I will change the start of your next world slightly, don't worry, you will still start where you want to, just differently”, he then said with a shit eating grin coming practically through the connection.

“Is there a way for me to stop that?”, I asked with little hope.

“Sure, a wish of one of your remaining ones would do”. The grin was in full bloom and he knew that I wouldn't do that, so he hung up with a sounding Ca-link.

The moment he hung up the world changed into a white room with white walls, a white wooden floor. The middle of the room had a white table with a white monitor and two white chairs in front of it.

Then an orange light shone down on the chair and an orange ball descended down onto it.

The ball took a deep breath and then twitched around until it saw me with two darker orange eyes.

“Is this death or did Dex-kun screw up?”, asked the beautiful voice of Kura-chan.

“No Kura-chan, I didn't screw up. We're dead and this is where we can choose our world, as well as any bonus we want to have”, I answered and sat down next to her. The moment I was sitting the monitor activated and a blue window plopped up.

“Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't 1540-320 only 1220, and not 6220?”, asked Kura-chan.

“Yup, I traded two of my remaining four wishes. One of them will give us 5000 points whenever we die and the other makes you one of my Soul-links. Without a Soul-link we wouldn't be able to start the reincarnation together”, I explained with a wobble of my green ball that equalled a proud nod.

“Thanks, I guess, how important are these points?”, she asked and watched how another window came up.

The User was lastly in a Normal world.

“You think we should try another world where we know something?”, asked Kura-chan. She had read my memories in her first life and knew most things I knew.

“Why not, which difficulty? I think normal was good. We can always adjust the difficulty after choosing the world”, I agreed.

“Then normal it is”, declared Kura-chan. An orange tentacle came out of her ball and she promptly pressed normal and the next screen came up.

We looked through the many possibilities and noted down which one we liked the most. At the end, we only had three worlds.

“So, it's going to be Harry Potter, One Piece or Fable, which one will we do?”, I asked.

“Hmm, Harry Potter is centralised around the main character and would be quite boring without one of us being him. The things I know about Fable make it interesting, but I want to have a real good adventure. This leaves only One Piece, we don't even have to be in the crew of Luffy to have fun”, she said while excluding one after the other.

“Good for me, but we're going to be on good terms with them, I liked their way and most of the things they did in the major arcs were cool as fuck. Still, having our own crew will be better, Luffy is just too much of an airhead for me. And I want to have some of the more interesting, or slightly evil people in my crew”, I agreed.

We pushed the One Piece section and were shown a short summary about the world, which we skipped. It then asked us for the difficulty. Normal would do for us, the world itself was dangerous enough.

The next window was one of the best to see, the goodies were shown.

“Well, we have 6220 points, any interest in having one of the world ending weapons?”, I asked jokingly.

“As if, those mean shit if we can't use nor protect them”, said Kura-chan.

“Let's see what we need above all”, she then said and we started at the top.

“Okay, a permanent inventory, that makes 220, after that a book about Haki for dummies and the 6 skills of the marines, shipwrighting as well?”, I started and looked to Kura-chan.

“We don't need shipwrighting, we either search one for ourselves or switch ships, preferably the first”, she said. I didn't agree, but said nothing, for now, maybe we will have left over points.

“That makes 260 so far. So now another 1000 for five skills on Max LV?”, she asked.

“No, let's buy those with each new start, they only cost 50 and I don't want to have a skill stuck when it can be annoying to have. Think about it, you know everything about it, no learning. Makes it boring for me. But we need it, at least I do. I don't know how I would be without [Calm Mind]. Even if I think that it does not change my view of you, as I don't have it currently”, I denied, but looked more closely at the others.

“But we might add two body traits, as well as some other things. I'd like to have more, endurance, strength, faster reflexes, faster healing and speed. I plan to be a close combat fighter. What about you?”.

“You'll take those I take luck, speed and faster healing as well. I think I will stay at a higher distance to my enemies, the dial weapons look good”, she replied.

I did the math and came up with 650, excluding the body traits, as it seems like we can't pick one boni twice, other than in the shared function. That makes 910 so far, fairly high, and we still were on the low-cost boni.

“I don't need a weapon, as I already have a masterfully crafted sword that can be used with Qi in my inventory, and as such Haki, or I'll make my own. But I want a Paramecia fruit”, I said.

“I do too, so another 300 for that, which fruit do you want?”, she asked. “I want to have the Atsuryoki-Atsuryoku no Mi, just think about all the things you could do by manipulating pressure”. Her eager and slightly bloodthirsty grin was audible. Sadly I couldn't see it for the lack of a mouth.

“Yeah, I want the Shindou-Shindou no Mi, the same as with you, all the possibilities in controlling vibration. If I'm good enough I might be able to disintegrate people as only the vibration, meaning the movement of atoms, keeps them together”, I agreed. We both typed our wished fruit in and were told that they will be in our inventory inside a One Piece Folder. The same happened with our mastery books.

“Okay, so body traits, a Dial weapon of every kind and a black Dial transportation bundle for the next one. Makes 1000 points.

I think your 5.000 points were a little much”, said Kura-chan directly after typing the wanted things into the console.

“Nah, better safe than sorry. I still want to have enough Treasure Adam lumber for a large sized ship. If it's too much we can still give some of it to the Straw Hats. You think we should also buy a fruit that makes the user into a wood man? This way we can have enough wood for repairs with us and he might even make a ship on the get go”, I suggested.

“Might make the game too easy, better not equip our crew with devil fruits. At least at the start”, she said.

“But I want to have a black dial Weapon of every kind. Also look what we can get for 1.000 points each”, she began and pointed at the highest costs eagerly.

“You want to be immune to sea stone even with a fruit don't you?”, I asked. Immortality was nothing for us and the others will be either too strong or not useful.

“Yes, that would make 3.000 for both of us, we have so far 3010. Another 3.000 and we have 210 left over. Might as well buy the book about shipwrighting, navigation and medicine. Once we got those they can learn from them. If these books are anything like your sealing book, then I am sure that we will have the best of them with enough training. That makes another 60 points, so 150 remaining. A dial of every kind, would be good, for water and so on”, she spoke while typing all of this into the console.

“The remaining 50 points should be used for more intelligence, you can take that, I like intelligent woman”, I said and added that as well.

We agreed to buy all these and two new windows opened, one with skills and one with my body traits.

“Is it just me or do your first and third life look kinda puny in comparison with the second one?”, asked Kura-chan after looking over the many skills and body traits.

“And where are mine?”, she then asked.

“Don't know. I do know that it's normally really hard to learn a single skill. And it was easy as fuck in my second life thanks to my cheat list of wishes. Let's start with the body traits. A body without a Limit is the first thing, it lets me control the Juubi like Chakra amounts in my last one. That was all I would take”, I said and laughed loudly at the end. I forgot that my traits are mostly mana based. And slavery contracts aren't existing in One Piece, at least none without a Devil Fruit.

“Let's just take the immunity against any and all slavery contracts, in case we find someone with such a fruit. And then the ability to change the gender at all times for sex”, I continued between laughs.

Kura-chan grumbled a bit but agreed and we were now not enslave-able unlimited gender benders. That sounds way weirder than what it is.

“Skills?”, she asked irritated from my laughing.

“Hmm, seems like we can both chose the same and all my old skills are available for you. I wanted to take [Calm Mind], [Insensitivity to Pain], [Multitasking], [Lock Picking], and [Blacksmith]. The first two I have already explained. Multitasking for the Haki in combination with fighting and the six marine skills. Lock Picking for any slaver collar we come across and blacksmith for weapon and other maintenance”, I said and touched said skills.

Kura-chan was deep in thought for a few minutes until she also began to tap her five skills. She chose [Insensitivity to Pain], [Multitasking], [Distant View], [Far Sight], and [Cooking].

“The same reason as you for the first two, [Distant View] as well as [Far Sight] for my combat abilities and what kind of wife would I be without being able to cook my husband his meal?”, she then explained and I wobbled my soul ball into hers. The hug may not have looked like one, but definitely felt like it.

We closed the window and another came up.

The window after that asked if we agree with all of our choices, to which we simply touched yes. The world then turned black and shortly after ice cold and white.
